Great meal, we had the bluff oysters, which were super fresh and served in their shells. For main we had the WOAP menu. Flounder was amazing. The real highlight was the service...absolutely excellent. Kudos to you for maintaining such a high standard in 'she'll be right's NZ!!!

Can't fault anything. We were lucky to have the best wait staff. Food was super delicious. Rich and flavourful.
Wouldn't have been 5* if we had another wait staff who we observed to have an attitude.

We don't often go out to a high-end restaurant so when we do splash out it is really nice to feel like we have made the right decision. Shed 5 is very well appointed - the decor is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing, the toilets were absolutely amazing (like something out of a five-star hotel!). And of course the most important part is the food which was just incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a top-notch dining experience in Wellington city.

Really good experience. Extensive menu. There are other things apart from fish. The restaurant had a unique exiting and fun atmosphere, made by the decor and location. The staff also add excitement with good humour to the experience. I m not a massive fish lover, however, my family who are enjoyed their food very much. The staff are really knowledgable about their food and drinks and always happy to advise if needed. Really recommended.

Pretty disappointing. We were a large group so had a set menu. No vegetarian options, despite having advised in advance that some diners were vegetarian. One diner in our group was told a vegetarian option could be provided only for people who are actually vegetarians (he wouldn't be making the request if he wasn't).
The duck salad starter varied quite a bit depending on which plate you were served. For a duck salad, there was only about a teaspoon of duck so it seemed rather misleading. The steak for the main was overcooked and the spinach it was served with was so salty it was inedible.
On the plus side, the kids menu looked pretty good.

Well located on the Wellington waterfront, this restaurant has lots of promise. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. However it lacked character and while the staff were professional they lacked personality. The food wasn't up to standard given the prices with the sauce over powering the fish and the panna cotta being way too gelatenous (more the consistency of a firm jelly). The pasta was pleasant as was the wine. The inclusion of Airpoints rewards is a bonus. However it would be difficult to recommend.

Post- lockdown fine dining at its best. Delicious food and excellent service. Being less full will be hard financially but meant we had an exceptional meal delivered at a relaxing pace. This is a seafood restaurant and the hapuka main was near faultless, with friendly service and accurate advice around the choices on offer. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Great food. Service was okay. Made a booking and asked if we could sit in one of the vacant tables but the host refused stating that "people who book earlier get better tables (even though no one sat there)". Not good for our first impression at this nice restaurant. Service could be improved.

The food is heavenly and our waitress was exceptional - all set on the side of the blue waters of the harbour. A great place for a celebration or top treat! I highly recommend.
