Very nice restaurant. Large selection of sea food but also have some meat dishes. Mains are on the pricey side but my snapper was delicious and a good sized portion. Lovely interior in an old wharf shed right by the water front.

Lovely setting, great food, friendly service. A relatively small yet impressive menu. Given that passers by can see right in at your table through the expansive Windows, it somehow still has a cozy feel. 10/10!

Wellington net red shop, the point of shellfish with white wine & cream sauce is especially fresh! The chowder is also great! Although the price is a bit expensive, I think it is worth it. There is only Wilson parking around, the price is unreasonable. Overall great. Thank you guys for great dinner and awsome food!

My friends and decided to have fine dining there instead of going to the Crab Shack because they provide truly fresh seafood. The food quality is really high. We had salmon and king fish cooked with puree and cheese. They tasted amazing. But the entree did not worth the price given its too salty flavor.

Decent service and absolutely amazing food. My husband and I had the seafood chowder and raw seafood salad to start, and the market fish (groper) for our mains. Stick to the seafood on this menu, that's what these guys do best.

Amazing food, but service was lacking. Due to the ambient noise i could barely hear our waiter describe the food. After our mains were served we were forgotten about. Had to actually get up and find a waiter to order desert and then again to sort out the bill.

Absolutely exceptional. Then food and service are everything you would expect from a premium restaurant in a superb location. Made an incredible fuss of my girlfriend for her birthday. Really made her feel special.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to check this place out. Food was pretty good for the most part meals came out within a good time frame. Initially it was quite hard to get a table although the place wasn t busy and we ended up sitting in the bar for a considerable amount of time without anyone taking a drink order from us either. The service was a little bit lacking overall I m however this was made up by the food. I ve been to this establishment a couple times before however first time it was a bit of a let down considering the amount that we paid for dinner. I hope this is an isolated incident .

The window couldn't stay open and it's too warm to shut it, making the whole meal about keeping the window open wasn't fun. The table and chair are not the right height making sitting uncomfortable. Decent quality food, good atmosphere, overrated service.

Restaurant mainly for tourist. Risotto was ok. The oysters were great. Waitress was friendly and helpful but a little forgetful. My knife had some kind of sticky substance on it.
When you pay with credit card, the machine asks if you want to include a tip. This is the first time I've encountered this in NZ. Other places have never asked for a tip. It's my understanding that NZ is not a tipping culture as the waitstaff gets a decent salary unlike the US where waiters receive low pay and have to earn part of their paycheck from tips.

Sunny yet protected from the famous wind this is and stays a great place also as a work venue. I enjoy the food, which is unpretentious and favourfully prepared. I am a foody and I do consider this a great spot for that lovely family environment with excellent food and service. The only thing why this doesn't get a five star is that well that would just be crazy, because I can't just walk there living out East. Hope this helps.

Yummy!

Pretentious and expensive, patchy service and did not meet my friend's strict dietary requirements although promised at booking. The place is convenient enough after a,show at TSB arena. Menu is mainly seafood based. Prices from moderate to high. Extensive drink list and fairly efficient service, but depend on who served you. Lighting is quite dark and atmosphere a bit noisy. Food was ok, as long as you're not vegan and must adhere to gluten free diet. They pride themselves as an upmarket restaurant, but I feel they did not deliver themselves. For this price, you can choose a better place with better food etc.

It's hard to find any fault with shed 5. Excellent service, food, wine, and atmosphere. The staff have always been really friendly and helpful. We found them particularly helpful when advising on wine choices. Will definitely return and I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a special dinner out.
