Food and service were outstanding. However, they did not honor Military personnel, which loses a star from me!

Finally able to snag a beach side table with a magnificent view of the gulf.

Sharkey s features an extensive and diverse menu plus a nice array of daily specials. Service was competent and professional. Not overly intrusive.

Our food was served promptly and was tasty.

Love the food here plus I walked the pier everyday to watch them fish

Mediocre food at best with super high prices... Tourist trap

Salmon was very good, coconut shrimp were meh. Super crowded, even at 2 in the afternoon had a 45 minute wait.

The pier is great but the food is expensive. But decent place to eat.

No sweet tea, no swiss cheese, asked for a bleu burger got a veggie burger. First and last time.

Busy place and, yes, prices are not cheap but it's a lovely view and the service is good.

Usually the best place to find sharks teeth... unless they've renourished the beach.

All right daiquiri tastes like a plastic bottle. I had the new item Hawaiian sirloin not really great. Meat served on potatoes which were bloody sirloin tough could of cooked at home better.

Very nice. Cant give it 5* as it's very much geared up for fishermen (fisherpersons for the easily offended) even to the point of having tables and hosepipes for gutting the fish. Couldn't get to the furthest point as, you guessed it, it was all taken up by fisherpeople .

We have always Loved this place! Always good food! And you can't beat the location! Its alot of fun! Can't wait til ur open so we can drive down! Hope the outside is open soon atleast!

Some great choices. Try the jerk chicken tico or the bacon cheeseburger taco

The crab legs were excellent! Shrimp as well! I also loved the coleslaw! Great atmosphere & our waitress was amazing! The whole experience was worth it!!!

A fun spot for lunch, cold beer and some sharks tooth hunting. The pier has reopened with a great looking wood.

Always a great time. Amazing sunsets & food. They specialize in seafood, but have landlover food as well. In addition, the drinks aren't bad & they have trivia once a week. The fishing pier & parking are free to the public as well as the beach, though it's 'polite' to stop in for at least a drink or buying a shirt from the bait shop...

Great bread basket sampler. We love the view and some of the staff is very friendly. It's a nice hidden gem in this older town. We only have gone during the lunchtime hours. They have an upscale eatery above we would like to try out at suppertime.

Great lunch. Little pricey but location is worth it.

What is up with the swarm of black flying bugs... Server called them 'love bugs' they got in our drinks and food.. Bugs were everywhere... But server was great. Bartender friendly.

The food, atmosphere, staff, and watching a pigeon hop around under the tables were all great!

They've got a gold mine here and know it. An easy and comfortable bar and beach lunch spot...walk the pier while waiting for your table or sip on a drink upstairs with a view until your buzzer rings. Delicious, fast, reasonable meals; just what you expect. Good stuff.

We went on a weekday and the service was great! I ordered the shrimp trio and my boyfriend ordered the filet. We both thought our food was excellent! Oh...and the view is pretty amazing.

Jeff the manager asked us to move to a different table after we paid and were sitting there because their was an hour and a half wait when there was clearly open tables.

Crowded. 25 minute wait but worth it. Great atmosphere. Everyone having a great time. Food was good

This place was awesome! It was so super crowded that I was scared when we walked up, but we were able to sit in certain areas such as the balcony right away if ordering from the bar menu, which was actually great! The location cannot be beat - right on the beach. I went with my son, and we were so happy to have that experience.

Such a fun place to eat. Great Gulf views with a huge beach. Food was very good. Onion rings, cheese bread and fish tacos... So good.

Hospitality was so so so rude and very unaccomodating! We left and when somewhere else.

Shark's is a must stop when in the Venice area good food and service and the location can't be beat.

Typical fare , well done, good portions, friendly staff, great views.

A fun, beachy atmosphere with expansive views of the beach and pier!

Everything is delicious and made fresh. We highly recommend the Baja Tacos, the broiled scallops, and the Macadamia Grouper and Shrimp. Dessert portions are huge, if you manage to save any room.

Excellent food, great service. The only drawback is you have to walk around to the back of the building to enter and it is not covered. With as much as it rains on the Gulf, they should put in a front entrance.

An excellent upscale restaurant with views of the Gulf. I save this one for special occasions. Next to the Venice Pier for beautiful views of the sunset.

Staff is incredibly rude and condescending when it is absolutely unnecessary. Try another place.

Great place to visit. It is on the beach and in front of the Venice Fishing Pier. Excellent food and service.

The fish and chips wasn't very good tasted like eating at Capt. D's fish planks

The only thing that restaurant has going for itself is the location. The food is absolutely horrible. The service is garbage. Don t go if you re looking for good food. It just goes to show you that the owners don t care about their product.

Food was ok. Very bland, no salt, no seasoning. No atmosphere. And don't waste your money on the NE Clam Chowder. Go to Sniki Tiki for the BEST New England Clam Chowder..the best ever, trust me, and Sniki Tiki is cheaper and has a much better atmosphere.. SHARKYS is overpriced and the 4 meals plus Appetizers and soups are so bland and tasteless. It was four of us.. Filet was good, just not seasoned.. blackened Mahi Mahi, again bland and a little undercooked. I won't go there again or recommend Sharkys to anyone.

Fun vibes, great views of sunset, good service. Food is just okay... underwhelmed by the hogfish and shrimp.
