Lunch buffet, shall I say anything more? The sushi is fantastic too! But back to the lunch buffet, it's the best in town bar none for Chinese buffets in the area. Their sesame balls and sushi selection bring me back! Service is fine, no complaints. The place is really spacey too and aesthetically pleasing. Enjoy!

I've esteain here serveral times with no problems fact LOVED IT! BUT TODAY AFTER MY 3RD Bad to go order NEVER EVER AGAIN NOT ONLY ONE WHOLE DINNER MISSING THE ONE WE DID GRT WAD COLD AND TASTELESS!!!! Called them 3 times and they won't make it right SMH .###NEVERAGAIN!

I had a lorge delivery from here and was told that they would beable to have it here on time. Well it wasn't then when I called to find out if they were going to be here soon, the woman was very rude. She finally told me that she would find the driver and call me back. When she did call me back, she stated that the driver would be here in 3 min. Well needless to say he wasn't here 3 min. later. I'm so disapointed. This isn't the first time this has happened. We will not be ordering from here wver again. you just lost business from at least 15 people that we counting on you for there lunch.

We went for dinner and the food was good, we got our refills quickly and the place is clean. I would go here again.

Food ordered off the menu is great. My favorite is the walnut shrimp. I went to the lunch buffet for the first the time today and it definitely is my least favorite one in the area. The staff was very friendly. There wasn't a big variety on the buffet and what was there didn't taste great in my opinion. I did love the hot and sour soup, however. There is sushi there and it's okay but not great. I will definitely order food from there off the menu but I won't be going there again for the lunch buffet.

Tasted great, wish I could have tried everything on the menu.

About 50% of the time I get delivery it is good and when I wait a hour to spend $30.00 and want to throw it out I'm not happy.

Always good food with plenty of variety and even has decent sushi for a buffet. You can also order real sushi which is average (not bad but not great).

The inside looks really nice! Not the best sushi nor spring rolls. My food didn't taste so good though. The staff is really friendly!

Once I discovered Shanghai delivers to my apartment and has a cute delivery driver, I jizzed. I also see someone mentioned the quiet waiter...I love how he waits on people. It adds the perfect mysterious Asian feel to the place unlike the loud annoying American style restaurants like Texas Roadhouse for example.

Excellent food. Servers were great. Atmosphere was really good for the area. Restrooms were clean. Definitely a must go...

Not as good as it used to be. My friend came on right before 2pm to eat the buffet. It was just a bit past 2pm. The man told her that she could not get any ice cream. With that I will never return.

Ordered takeout and sushi, food was terrible. When I called and talked to the manager he basically told me I had no idea what I was talking about and accused me of trying to get a free meal. He went so far as to tell me he would send the driver back to pick up the food but if it was touched I would still have to pay full price. After going back and forth and trying to explain to him if we didn't try of it how else would we know it was bad, he refunded me half the price. Apparently the customer is always wrong here. Would not recommend.

There is so much to say about this place. The food was tremendous, strongly reccomend the duck, and everything was so flavorful. The staff were thoughtful and were friendly.

The sushi here was mediocre at best. I ordered the Godzilla roll and I could taste that it wasn't made fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting out for a while if I'm being honest. The roast duck was frozen along with the vegetables. It also didn't help that the sauce was too sweet and over powering. The beef Thai basil had almost no basil. They added a coconut sauce which made it had a funky taste. The food took about 30 minutes to make but me and my girlfriend were the only people here. The waitress only came once to check on us so we were out of water almost the entire meal. Not a pleasant experience.

Buffet was excellent, not your typical "cafeteria" fare. Hibachi shrimp and and crab rangoon particularly tasty. Service good, everyone from servers to bussers were friendly

We gave Shanghai 2 chances. The 1st attempt, they forgot to deliver our food after 2 hours, it came back cold, and incomplete. We called to complain and the host said "yea hi, what do you need". We asked for the manager and they said the manager wasn't in that evening. We were not happy with the customer service or food. We said we would never come back. A year went by and we thought, maybe they just had a bad night. We ordered again. They were more precise on their time but the order was incomplete. Called to complain and they said, "well our delivery guy is absent minded at times"; "we'll send him back out at no additional charge". I'm sorry, but I better not be charged for 2 entrees. Unbelievable!

Simply amazing. The sushi was fresh and the noodles and rice were superb.. Make sure you get the sea weed salad. I lived in Okinawa for a year and this is the best I've ever tasted.

Delicious food and great service. I always get my food quickly and without any hassles. The atmosphere is nice without being overdone.

The food is pretty good here. The service is pretty decent too. Theyve recently gone through a remodel which essentially cut their dining area in half so it seems a bit small now. I've been going here for years and will continue to do so.

The meals and service were ahead of our expectations. We really liked the environment of this place. Extraordinary spot to take the family out for lunch.

They took away the buffet thats what i always went there for... the flavors are great but the prices are in my opinion to high for the amount.

My wife asked the server if the lemon chicken had garlic (she has a garlic allergy) and if it does to make it without garlic BECAUSE she has a garlic allergy. The waitress replied "sure". I was suspicious about her response but said nothing.

Turns out I was right. The food had garlic in it. I sped home because my wife got sick while at my parents place. The chicken was over cooked. This place sucks.

When ordering delivery from the website there is a long time delay between when the order is placed and the restaurant receiving the order. Best to call direct to order. Food is subpar but it's hard to find decent Asian cuisine locally.

It was an average place to eat. Nothing to write home to Mom about. Sushi a little bit dry.

I have only been to the buffet at this establishment before, and the buffet is mediocre, however my delivery experience was terrible. I got the bourbon chicken and crab rangoons. The delivery did get here sooner than expected, however the delivery driver rudely entered my house to call me and dropped a plastic bag in my hands with no word and left. The food was cold and the bourbon chicken wasn't great, the rice was overcooked but the crab rangoons were my saving grace. I'd never get delivery again here unless I exclusively got the crab rangoons.

I've had sushi from 6 other places and this one was the worst. I litterally ate the tasteless kani salad and tried a bite of spider roll which seemed to be deep fried in dirty grease. I then went on the the spicy tuna rolls. I like spicy but dang. It honestly was as if the tuna went bad so they compensated with extra spice. If you are looking for sushi go elsewhere.

Their food is fantastic. I've only ordered delivery, and it always arrives quickly. The dishes taste the same every time I order something. The Crab Rangoon is the best in Wausau!

The buffet missed many of the things I used to enjoy much more! Service was very slow at 1st period food menu was good.

Not buffet style, but based on the honey chicken, which was done beautifully, I'd say it's usually still worth the price you pay. Plenty of sauce on the chicken and the batter wasn't soggy, but rather deliciously crispy. 4.25 stars. :)

The staff was unfriendly and unpleasant. Seemed as though it was an inconvenience to have us dine there. Not a single restaurant staff said hello or even smiled. The food on the buffet was mediocre at best. Most of the buffet was empty and seldom refilled during our visit. Not planning on returning here anytime soon.

I'm from Saint Paul Minnesota and have only lived in Schofield for a week, so I'm comparing this to places I've been to around the Twin Cities. It is the most thoroughly "meh" buffet I've ever been to. I saw the ratings online so I figured I'd have to check this place out.

Me and my roommate went to the lunch buffet, which was a very reasonable price at 7 dollars. Then it went downhill. The noodles were way too salty, just dripping in soy sauce and whatever mixture they had it in. Their sushi was really bland and tasteless, although I may have thought that because the noodles were so incredibly salty that it just made everything else taste like nothing. Then again, it was the first time I've ever had sushi with sour cream in it. That was a surprise, not a good one.

The broccoli and beef was overcooked. the meatballs were slightly burnt so they were kind of hard. The egg drop soup was average, not great, not bad. The fact that they had ice cream in tubs actually surprised me, and I thought that was kind of cool, but two flavors were empty and I didn't really like the other two (I think one was cotton candy and I can't remember what the other was).

Service was polite and responsive, but overall the experience was definitely a let down because I saw such high ratings online. It was pretty dull. Don't get your hopes up.

I've been a fan of the Shanghai Grill since it opened. In fact, I just looked them up to place an online order! The quality of their food is wonderful, rich with flavor. It's my favorite. Thank you guys!

This is the nicest restaurant I've experienced in the area. First of all the atmosphere is mature and classy, something this area lacks. Second, the food is AMAZING, authentic,artful, and absolutely delicious. Finally the prices are competitive. You get an excellent gourmet meal for the same price as that freeze dried and Sysco stuff everyone else in town serves.

My family and I arrived 30 minutes before they closed and were treated with the same hospitality as if we arrived earlier in the evening. We were looking for a buffet and was disappointed that it's only served at lunch time, however, decided to stay and order.

The menu items are a little pricey but well worth it!!! The food was both fabulous and satisfying and the portions were perfect!!! In addition to dinner, we ordered egg rolls, which tasted fresh and not frozen, along with sushi, which was absolutely delicious!

We would eat here again!!!

After being late, I get kluski noodles with shrimp and cabbage called lo mein (hint lo mein noodles are round and not like spaghetti) without any broth/sauce/flavor. Just boiled mushy noodles with fried shrimp in it. At least I have my cream cheese rangoons for supper. What a waste of $20!

Take out long wait. Delivery 45 mins and a 3.00 charge. Call in order 5 to 8 minutes on hold. Customer service , the worst and they have a habit of delivering the wrong food.

This place used to be nice and spacious on the inside.. now you can barely seat anyone in there! Such a shame. And their lunch specials are nice, except you HAVE to have fried rice with your lunch meal. You are not allowed to have white rice with your lunch order. It even says so on the menu under the lunches.. I think that is dumb. Not everyone likes fried rice. It literally isnt hard to make white rice.

Overall good food, we order for delivery once I a while. Last time we ordered it was over an hour to get it and then they forgot part of out order and it took another 45 mins for that item... We got the standard "sorry" and a unhappy experience. No refund or discount for the next time.

The decors are impressive and it has a great variety of Chinese cuisines to choose from. The Japanese Sushi counter is a great addition.

Awesome food and quality sushi for the area. My kids love this restaurant. The manager is the best and her staff generally does a great job. 5 stars across the board in our experience there!

The taste of most the food tonight was amazing, but the egg drop soup tasted a bit like metal and the ragoons are getting less filling each time I go. I have to say that the sushi tonight might have been some of the best we have had from there. We like bite and they had it tonight...

I have to change my review. I had a problem .but they fixed it and gave me a gift card which after that and ever sense the foods been amazing. Best crab Ragoons in town
