Fun place with good drinks in a great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back here and bring some friends and have a great time. The staff were very friendly and the parking is decent at night. I never knew there was a front part to ShadowBox.

Backstage Bistro is a laid back option for tasty munchies and entertainment even when the theater isn't open. Casual dining and a fair range of acts.

RACIST remarks used made our mixed party get up and leave. Don't waste your money. You'll be more entertained at a Dollar Movie. The "Positive" remarks you read are from the employees or their friends. The food we ordered all came at different times for everybody. Very awkward place.

I went to the shadowbox for the first time to see Hellraiser last Saturday. I really liked the show and the food was good but a little over priced for what quality it is. I mean the nachos were chips with shredded cheese melted over them and they cost around $10. Who makes nachos like that.... The pizza was good though. The main reason I gave it two stars is because someone there tried to charge my credit card for an additional $50+ which I didn't spend there. Then the next day someone tried to use my card number to make a couple other purchases that were denied by my credit card company because they were suspicious purchases. They have volunteers that help them with food orders and such but I'm guessing they don't do any sort of background checks on them so be careful if you use a card there. I suggest to bring cash!!!
I probably won't go back there again because of what happened but if you do be careful with whom you let take you credit cards!!!

Shadowbox is an amazing place to go. I love seeing the shows and the energy of the actors. They are really amazing. The set up of the place is great too. I love that they serve food before and during intermission of the show. And the actors come to you to talk and greet you. The productions that they write/create are always superb!

Been going to see shows for 15 years. High quality product and fun environment. What is also interesting that I have seen many of the same actor's faces at each performance attended over the years. Low turnover amongst the performers, good to see they treat their people right.

Staff and crew were amazing! They were so talented and dedicated to their craft. Their appetizers were okay, just basic snack foods, but not their specialty.
Their rock and roll show: Leather and Lace was incredible! I would recommend this show if you like to rock and like to have a good time. The members of the show were absolutely dedicated and you can see their passion.
There's local artists that display and sell their pieces and it's really cool. They also offer stand up comedy here.
Parking is a bit hard because either fills up quickly! There's plenty of space inside and tables for guests.

Saw a Backstage Bistro show and it was really funny. I didn't like the bistro's food overall, the pizza was very burnt on the bottom and the top, but the appetizers were good and the service is fantastic. Also, the show was so good that it completely made up for it. The parking in the lot is paid, but it is also convenient.

Shadowbox Live is a theater and restaurant combination, if you desire, you may just go to eat and drink, without seeing a show. With that said, now onto to review. The atmosphere up front is well lit and offers a well-stocked bar. The food, in my opinion, is overpriced for what you get, the taste isn't bad by a long shot, but nothing to write home about. The desserts can also be a little pricey, bit the Mt. Shadowbox is also a great dessert to eat with friends. Want something even... Bigger? Lo' and behold Dante's Peak, an even bigger version of the Mt. Shadowbox. The shows are, and I sincerely mean this, superb, one of the best productions of theatrical displays in Columbus. I recommend anyone who is curious about the shows to step in, the food may be decent, but the shows are phenomenal.

If you have not been to Shadowbox you are severely missing out! Get tickets to the next show! You will not be disappointed!

This is one place I've always had an interest in checking out for probably the last 16 years, but it always managed to stay on the back burner. Well a friend went and saw the "Which ones Pink" multimedia celebration of Pink Floyd and told me I would really enjoy it. With some friends, we came and checked it out, and I was pretty much beyond amazed and just floored by how good the performance was.

The service/staff/music/performance was all really spectacular, I would give this place a 5 star, it's totally worth it on the people who work here and their passion alone. It was just the food, it wasn't bad tasting or cooked improperly, just sub quality, but I found it understandable, because they serve everyone before the performance starts, so to work with the amount of time they have, the food items need to be prepared and served quickly, so this is what you get.

Like Saturday night live but the difference is they're funny, I love thes people and travel from Newport ky just to see them where the used to have a venue, I would recommend them over any I have ever saw, they just keep bringing talent

Absolutely amazing experience. Had a friend invite us out to see Epic, and I have to say it was pretty Epic. Now that I know about this place I will be going back I want to see Pink for sure, and I will be keeping my eyes open for any other new shows to see. Food was on point and drinks were really good.

Great local venue for original theatrical performances. Live music and great lighting and effects. Actors are wonderful and also the serving and kitchen staff before the performance so you get to see them and interact with them up close and in person. I'm not a big theatre person but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend it to others.

Great way to spend an evening. Saw there Funk show. The music is excellent (always has been with other shows seen by their band). Lots of enthusiasm.

Quaint little place. The good was very good and the drinks were not badly priced. I went on a night they were having a comedy show. The cost...a whopping $5! It was a great time!

While there, I had a wonderful time, our Server was energetic, and part of the show, she had a hell of a voice for singing, and while I didn't each much, I still laughed, and loved the Sketches they did, They did "Wild nights" and It was Just fun !

People are great, shows are OUTSTANDING!! Only downfall is you have to sit with other parties, which creats an akward environment. Especially if you're introverted..like myself.

Been here many times and the performances are always awesome and worth seeing! They always put on a great show with awesome music and great comedy.

Made my first visit in January with a small group to see Chicago! First class presentation, excellent food, great service! I look forward to visiting again.

This place is so cool! The waiters and waitresses are also your performers which is so unique! Unfortunately that means no food or drink service during performances, but that s fine as they offer pitcher drinks and bottles of wine!

An easily accessible with amazing events. Very intimate venue and dope art on their walls.

No sane words can describe this destination. Been coming here for 10 years and never had been disappointed. Yes actor may come and go but the experiences are everlasting. This is just one of those things you gotta experience in Columbus. Each show is unique and the venue has history of its own. Try food in the bistro or grab some during the show. Don't forget to try a limelight. Literally the best drink there. If you here someone screaming in the crowd that's me and I apologize if you have to sit up front with me, but I promise I will make it an interesting night.

Best place in town for live theater. The performances will never leave you disappointed. They have a variety shows they rotate through regularly and the staff are underrated for their talent. As the largest resident theatre in the country I'm proud that Shadowbox Live is in my backyard.

Imagine sitting in the live audience of a SNL show, that's what Shadowbox is... it doesn't get much better than that.

Really enjoy the shows here. Food menu is limited but good. The performers are also part of the wait staff so nice to get to interact with them.

Amazing staff and great options for meals and drink fare.

The space is intimate but well worth it for local live performances and a night out.
