Backstage Bistro specifically is my favorite spot in the city for a show and a meal on a Tuesday night. Varied acts changing each week.

Shadowbox was an amazing experience. They not only have a lovely setup, but exceptionally talented performers. The songs a professional quality and the skits are at times laugh out loud funny. My girlfriend and I stopped in for the latest hellraisers show and left with tons of laughter and full hearts. Thanks k you very much for such a wonderful time!

While talking to my fiance the Guy we were paying to see Pink Floyd show said something very inappropriate. He obviously didn't care I was standing there.

Very unique experience, casual theater. Performers were excellent, i really enjoyed the band.

Friendly staff, incredible entertainment, great food and drinks, an all around incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone into live entertainment.

I have been to two performances and both of them were amazing.

Just saw Epic. It was some of the best music I have heard here in quite a while. The skits we're funny too. Overall, a very entertaining night.

The holiday show was tons of fun and sexy and cute - they really pack it all in! Talented musicians and good jokes. I'm always amazed that the service and food is actually pretty good considering the actors are also the wait staff. I highly recommend getting a bottle of wine, its a decent quality and you have a drink thru at least the first half, ha!

Holiday Hoopla was wonderful!! The venue is very well laid out, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Food was good, and the show was hilarious. Would definitely go back!

Good place to laugh, have drinks, watch a show, eat good food and just enjoy yourself. Always different shows going on and worth the money.

As always another fabulous show at Shadowbox!! Second time going to see Evolutionaries on this last day of its run. We are so lucky here in Columbus to have this great theater group. I have never ever been disappointed by any of their shows !!!

Been a fan and ardent admirer of these amazing performers for well over 15 years now, I ve attended many shows, musicals and special events. I ve turned many friends onto them and created even more fans. I ve never had a bad experience and as long as they exist, I m gonna keep coming back!

Never a dull moment in this place! The food and drinks are as good as the shows! I go every chance I get.

Such a great time! Great skits, good band & Just a fun time all around. My fiance & I have now went 7 times. Definitely a favorite

A little pricey, but tasty food. The big issue I had was with the menu layout and service. The menu confused the wait staff causing them to mix up several beers throughout the night.

Entertainment was slightly lackluster, but I'm not a big fan of improv comedy, which is what we went to see. #Hashtag Comedy, the resident troupe could use some work ( with the exception of the Greers who carry the show).

Shadowbox never disappoints! The band and actors are amazing! If you have never been to a show you are missing out.

Shadowbox is always a blast. A big hit for company events. They really work to make a memorial night for everyone. I know you may not think so, but the food for catered events is FANTASTIC!!

The food is really good for the price you pay. The drinks are good as well. The service staff are also the actors. They are very nice and upbeat while they serve your table. I have been to several shows. I have enjoyed almost all of them. Only one show I disliked and it had nothing to do with the act or the skill of the preformers. I just felt the style of performance did not match what I enjoy. Over all though shadowbox is a great place to spend an evening with a loved one or friends while enjoying some grade A comedy and musical performances.

Shadow box is one of the best entertainment venues in the city of Columbus and in the state of Ohio. Always lots of fun, good food and amazing customer service

The place is awesome and the people are so nice and extremely talented. The food is great and the coffee is really good. I can't believe how well done the shows are. We are lucky to have a world-class operation here in Columbus.

Great place to see a live comedy sketch show or music rock. Drink selection is pretty standard and reasonably priced for the atmosphere. Wait staff is always incredibly friendly and fun.

Absolutly the best comedy and live rock n roll! You have to see this!

Used to love Shadowbox back when they were in Newport, KY. Letting them go was the dumbest thing Newport on the Levee ever did. They are a little pricey, so unfortunately the only time I drove all the way to Columbus to catch a show was when I scored free tickets - but we had a good time.

The performance was overshadowed by constant pressure to buy future tickets (before the show even went on). Not the most pleasant food or experience.

Shadowbox is always an outstanding experience! The artists/actresses/artists are super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure each guest's complete satisfaction. We go every year to the family-friendly Christmas feature and it never disappoints. Well worth the drive from Cincinnati to the easy-to-access Front Street location, right off I71. The rock shows, burlesque shows, and comedic acts are excellent as well.

Great music and performances. The musicals are my favorite, but the occasional "comedy and rock & roll" show is enjoyable too. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun. If you've never been, you really need to try it.

Nearly all shows we've seen (aside from a very select few) have provided great fun and entertainment. Food is overpriced for what it is. The salesman-type pitches at intermission and the conclusion of the show are awkward. The quality of acting, though, are generally great and well worth the admission price. A unique experience offered in Columbus by talented individuals. Highly recommend!

Venue is awesome which is why I had to give 4 stars. "The Not So Late Show" wasn't all that interesting but did have some high points. Reasonably priced drinks and a better menu than you find at similar venues.

I've been going to Shadowbox Live since it was in Spring St(19 years). The shows are always fantastic/hilarious; I've never been disappointed! I definitely recommend visiting this place at least once, especially if you are a visitor to Columbus. There's nothing else like Shadowbox Live. They are a non-profit business, and they have a program for high school student who don't have arts programs in their schools. If you have younger children who like to put on a show, they have Play Cafe in the summer and other times of the year. You can pick any night, and there will be always something going on.

So wonderful, it was a great experience. They are ALL so talented

I've been going over 10yrs now...it's my favorite place to go in columbus! I'm from NYC have seen Broadway shows I can these metapreformers are in the same category as if not better then any show ive seen on broadway!As well as the cast who are the most kind genuine people and have been so good too me through the years ...I feel like I'm seeing family when I go...I'm never disappointed...they do musicals...comedy...tributes...thought provoking shows I'm so impressed everytime!Thank you shadowbox live for all you do...what would I do without my box. :)

The talent and versatility of the actors and musicians is amazing. A great date night with good food, laughter and music.

Enjoyed our first Shadowbox Live performance. The musical talent was outstanding. The comedy skits where SNLish. Would go back for primarily musical shows. Customer service was excellent (cast members are the servers and cooks).

We saw Holiday Hoopla! It's a must-see for any adult who likes big fun during the holidays and is filled with pure hilarity. A jolly time was had by all! We'll be back next year.

Great service, funny shows. This place is a local hallmark for comedy. My only gripe is the parking, but that's the danger of downtown.

The food is great and the shows are hilarious! Every time is a great time. Wonderful date night or just a night with friends, your bound you have a great time. Everybody is pleasant and always smiling.

Had a BLAST! Went with my best friend to see her cousin! What a cool place! A bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Great atmosphere and very talented people. Just don't bother tipping them because it goes straight to the company. I bought my friends' cousin a drink after the show instead

Tonight was the first time I have been to the newer Shadowbox venue and really enjoyed it. I think it's a wonderful space and the original show performed tonight ("F*** Cancer") was great. Highly recommend. Be prepared to pay for parking, but there are meters & multiple lots around

Went to see which one is pink with 2 other couples. One of the best shows I've ever seen! The service was great, and the food was awesome. We all had a great time and look forward to going back real soon.

I've been a regular at Shadowbox for about three years now, and I've never seen a show that I didn't like. My favorite every year is the Best of Shadowbox. They do a great job of sending free/discounted tickets once you sign for their emails. Brick tickets available at OSU are a steal! Their Tuesday shows at the Backstage Bistro are also unique. The food, drinks, and service are consistently amazing. And don't forget a pitcher of The Freak!

Love shadowbox. The entertainers are fabulous. If you aren't dancing out of your seat you are doing it wrong.
