My self and my wife have been in the hotel many times. It's a wonderful building homely and welcoming. The reception is nicely layed out giving lots of comfortable chairs Lovely surrounding and warming atmosphere. Nice place to eat with good food and a large selection of beverages. The staff are lovely and are very helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. We have enjoyed our meals here. The room is excellent. The town is great to explore and just a few minutes walk away. We are both looking forward to coming back son.

We had afternoon tea and it was amazing... waitress very attentive....the only thing they could improve on was the heating in the library...it was much colder than the rest of the hotel and the fire was only for effect, it didn't work

Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms standard. Disappointed the pool wasn't open and not made aware of this before arrival. Decor a little outdated but comfortable. Within few minutes walk to down. Would go back.

Beautiful hotel in Carlow town centre. Had food at the bar and it was really nice and good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful with things to do and see around Carlow. I'd definitely recommend a stay here with or without family.

I spent a lovely Saturday night in the Seven Oaks hotel. Even before I got there I knew I would like it as Jane the front of house receptionist was so courteous and helpful when booking. Upon arrival, it got better. Beautiful oldie world lobby, tastefully decorated. I was allocated a beautiful room, lovely decor and comfy bed. Breakfast was very good with everything any guest could wish for. I had a drink in the bar before exploring Carlow town. Again a nice experience. Lovely little snugs for a quiet chat and an nice area to watch all the sports events if you want to. Very reasonably priced also. Cannot recommend highly enough, and thank you Jane and Colm for all the directions and suggestions. Will definitely be back. There is also a super leisure centre on site. Martin.

"Granny's House" Well decorated, very friendly, super-welcoming, and somewhat dated. Very cosy with wonderful hospitality. This was the first place I stayed in Ireland, and gave a great (and, I've found, accurate) impression of the place.

Cant reccomend enough. Has a great antique vibe with lots of charm, without being run down in the slightest. Really friendly welcome at reception Room was large, with beautiful decoration, clean and the bed was unbelievably comfy. Bathroom was modern with a great shower. They had a great setup for breakfast in a lovely dining room with beautiful older style pub booths which was pretty useful for social distancing. Wish I could have stayed another night to try the dinner.

Lovely traditional type hotel with plush sofas and open fires. Despite 6 to 8 people in the bar area we could not get served at 11am. Staff were reluctant to even make eye contact. Reception did see to us however...but thereafter we were ignored again. What a shame. Lovely hotel...very unwelcoming staff

Ok.
