SEVEN HOTEL (Groupe Elegancia) PARIS Review

Great location, good modern contemporary rooms at a good price for Paris. Floating bed, lots of neon and the bathroom in a glass room. May not be too all tastes but i loved it!

Superb hotel and what to say the room sublime really a room that comes out of the ordinary crush for the ceiling effect effect night stars and the originality goes to the piece of furniture in Plexiglas.

Passionate about James Bond, we booked the Secret Agent Suite to view DVDs in a dedicated area. On arrival, no more remote control without the possibility of replacing it! A secret agent suite without James Bond is making fun of the world. As a counterpart, we were offered a bottle of champagne because we are "ch'tis et sympas" (and alcoholos incidentally?). At the price of the night is not expensive paid ... In the end we got the refund for half of the room but believe that it is all that should have been refunded. We came from Valenciennes for a special service that we did not get. Watching "Criminal Chronicles" in our living room would have been much less frustrating. We do not understand that a hotel of this standard does not plan to check that everything works before the arrival of its customers. If we had been warned, we would have canceled our visit.

We booked a suite on the 5th floor room 506, to start getting in the room nothing was prepared nor cleaned, we even had the right to some rest from the previous guest! (Condom used under the bed, used tissues, the underside of cloth with stains!) The carpet on the floor was in a critical state full of yellow stains, the sofa was stained, the jacuzzi was not ready with the foam on the contrary he was dirty! Excellent for a wedding night! Then in the morning the lunch served with the bread of the day before (hard)! And to top it all the parking that had been booked is not part of the building it is a few blocks away with 2 place book for the hotel in poor condition, and all for the modest sum of 634.76 !! ADVERTISING MENSONGER !!! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! I do not understand how it can have 4 stars while it is not worth 1! Very disappointed with the service !!

This establishment does not deserve at all its 4 stars, the staff did not have any study in the hotel and it is felt. Breakfast is far too expensive for what it is, little choice and for that there is no dream. There is a problem with the elevator noisy it feels like having an earthquake in the room is unbearable night and day. Very disappointed with this hotel. I do not recommend it, only good point the rooms are pretty.

Nice hotel, a bit in the middle of where (as far as anything can be 'nowhere' in Paris - meaning that it's a non-trivial walk to any subway station). But really close to rue Mouffetard, which is always a treat. This is a quite special hotel, clearly meant for couples. As a single business visitor, it was a little odd, but ok. Very weird decor, but it kind of worked.

great hotel, the rooms are designer, large, romantic, perfect bedding, little attention on our arrival, everything I like, the breakfast is very good.
Negative points: breakfast much too expensive, in the carpeted room near the bathroom soaked when we arrived, the bathroom is superb but not practical, no shower curtain, so we put water everywhere (it was a real swimming pool until the next day, even in the toilets), the air conditioning works well but then, it is so noisy (I have never heard this while I am doing hotels and I myself have one air conditioning at home) that we had to turn it off before going to bed so we had a bad night because of the heat! + loud dull noises in the hotel in the morning, not great for resting !!!!
For the price we paid 98 euros with breakfast included for the designer room it's really a great value for money (cheapest price compared to the season)

Very nice hotel, unique atmosphere - reason why I chose the hotel to celebrate my birthday - I was not disappointed, it was more than my expectations, huge bath, very comfortable to be two - double bed also very comfortable - and the multitude of possibilities of light moods was very appreciated too

Unfortunately we can only share the disappointment of other travelers. We were immediately blown away by the presentation of oversold rooms through the site and made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking!
So we understood that the hotel was going to undergo renovations in 2020, however if the management is aware that the establishment needs to be renovated, it should largely review its prices. It is far too expensive for the quality of the room and the common areas which leave more to be desired. No bar or lounge atmosphere.

Very nice hotel, very nice and friendly staff! Room with a great design but only downside shower with skirting board and throws shower heads that go in all directions!

The Seven is a very nice hotel, we took the following "lovez vous". And we were conquered. Huge room, path of rose petals, heated jacuzzi on the terrace, .... And other surprises! ABSOLUTELY to do. Small negative point: the breakfast where the choice is limited.

The suite Marie Antoinette is really beautiful, despite some tasks on the carpet floor and the shower that puts a little water everywhere if you stay too long otherwise super night hotel very nice service great. Can be a glass of champagne offered would be nice when you put the price in the suites;)
I recommend to the top for a romantic stay

The carpeting needs replacement. There are stains and bleach marks all over it. Some of the lighting didn't work in the room and also, it was difficult to connect to the internet. Luckily we stayed an additional night in another suite that was much better therefore I would recommend this hotel. But not this room: Suite Sublime.

Positive:
- The room with bright decor, with the bed and the huge bathtub in levitation, which is why I chose the Seven.
The gadgets in rooms were significant (pregnant, large TV, samples, coffee maker ...).

- The partnership with Very Chic that allows individuals like me to afford a room in this establishment.
- Breakfast included can be served in room at no extra charge (do not check the A la Carte to avoid extra charges).

Negative
- The price of the items in the Mini-Bar was not indicated, however the receptionist was very understanding this morning.
Some 4 * offer the bottle of water in the room on the day of arrival, it would be a plus.
- It can be difficult to park.

So I am satisfied with the night spent at the hotel, I can not wait to come back (and ask for the same room), hoping that VC sales will be re-opened soon!

The hotel overall is ok. The room clean but not spotless (a little wrapping paper near the window) no document with the numbers of the reception and others in the room, ...
The staff are very attentive and have been efficient in resolving any inconvenience encountered.
Otherwise the spirit, the decor, the themes of the hotel rooms are really original and appreciable.
Concerning breakfast: to really review

For 21 (I got an offer with free breakfast) and a 4 star hotel (if I'm not mistaken) this breakfast is not worthy.
For the neighborhood, lots of things to visit, to see, beautiful walks to do. Calm neighborhood .
Having said that, I know what to expect. And I would test one of their suite because it is worth the detour

Being a receptionist in a 2 star hotel, I am shocked and very disappointed with the service and the staff. It is shameful to arrive at a 4 star hotel and have the mini bar with a hot room temperature, a phone that does not work and a not very friendly receptionist waiting for us to spend 2 extra hours to charge us more than 100 without informing us (which is theft). I will never go back and recommend this hotel highly. This is a shame because the room decorations are very original and very pretty. Even in the hotel I'm working in, which is a 2 star hotel I still point out, you will never be confronted with this kind of thing. I do not even talk about how the receptionist spoke to me. What a shame!

Very chic and romantic hotel in the heart of Paris. Only downside for me is the size of the rooms. A bit cramped and it's a shame but otherwise everything is perfect. The decor is extra. I really recommend this hotel located in the heart of Paris. Try the suite with the hot tub on the terrace. It was great thanks to all the team. I will come back for sure.

Very friendly staff makes atmosphere really good. Don't be surprised with unusual dark rooms. My telephone line was not working and was not repaired until my departure hence one star less. Service was good. Quality well maintained.

Hyper disappointed for a 4 star! A squeaky bed, a hot tub that works very badly is spoiled, a tasteless breakfast and sitting on disgusting chairs :-(

When we arrive at midnight we are told that our reservation and canceled super then I pay 107 euros plus 150 euros in guarantees that silk says it is not debited while they have debited the Somme the room full of spider web at morning more water for this wash then our departure I tell them that I have consumed 3 drinks it counts as 2 frankly flee never again

What a good surprise ! We booked the room "Levitation" and we are not disappointed.
The decor is beautiful, we sleep head in the clouds and stars in the eyes ... It's a pretty sensual cocoon, ideal for couples looking for romance. And all crowned by a warm and dynamic staff, what could be better?

Nice hotel, superior room to design quite small anyway, breakfast quite expensive, and orange juice pressed at 6 euros while it was a juice bottled! Quite outrageous!

Very good choice, small hotel but very clean and excellent communication. Located next to the famous Latin neighborhood, very well connected, bus stop to go to key positions downtown almost in the same door. All very well. Rooms a little small, but very well decorated. Large and very comfortable beds. Thanks for all the advice that the girls at the reception gave us.

Need a renovation, big problem with the shower, the carpet of the room (more than aging) was wet and oily which is unpleasant and unhygienic. The staff came to install towels on the ground to lessen the greasy and wet effect.
The rate of the room went down between the date we booked and our arrival (27 difference), so the staff offered to offer us the breakfast thing that we enjoyed. Too bad there have been these problems because there is real potential in this hotel. As smokers we enjoyed the outdoor area to which could be added a shade sail for rainy weather and add a touch of privacy.

The hotel room was beautiful and the person helpful. Only negative point, the light in the room sparkled.

Breakfast quite poor, some flaws in the room (shower handle falling, for example). But in absolute terms it was a good experience, the room is comfortable, the atmosphere intimate.

PS: the bed is not in levitation strictly speaking, it's a shame.

Very bad experience following Marie Antoinette 340th night, arrives in the room smell of cold tobacco and urine stained carpets sofas rip all was dirty we ask for the refund immediately thanks to the receptionist who was understanding

The bathroom is amazing. The bathtub is large, lighting, beds and much more. If there is a need for improvement, it is more appropriate to replace the word "customer" with the word "guest" on the hotel slogan.

Nice rooms but considering the price I expected better. The paints are not regular and flake. There is rust in the tub and sink. Fingerprints on the furniture and claws. A huge mirror was present on the door inside the toilet which, by the way, was dusty and the bowl dirty. Given the price we expect all the same to a certain standard. The good thing is that the mattress is comfortable.

Room with an innovative design but then the cleanliness of the room leaves something to be desired. A refreshing room is required!

Unusual boutique hotel, in a great location. But, be aware the standard rooms are very dark. They're basically lit with coloured LED's under the bed and around the wardrobe etc, but they don't give out much light so when you first arrive you have to wait for your eyes to adjust!
Nice touches, like the LED's in the black ceiling to look like tiny stars etc.
Staff were really good. Although there was an event on in the bar the evening I was there, I could get bar service to the room.

The most beautiful room in which I could sleep in Paris. If we like modernity, far from the classical style, we are delighted. By taking a standard "levitation" room, we are already on a qualitative proposal. I had the opportunity to visit some suites, each can find his happiness according to his tastes and desires. The rooms are ideal for romantic stays.

After a call from the hotel confirming the return of one of my forgotten clothes, December 29, 2018, after several reminders from me: Nothing.
We finally called me back on March 14, explaining that more than two months later he is gone !! Who is the personal person who takes advantage of my clothes !! ??? I would not come back! Big lack of seriousness for a hotel of this standard ...
It's just called theft!

Very nice hotel with a room "Luxury designer" very original.
However, we were woken up in the middle of the night by a fire alarm.
We do not know what happened, I had trouble going back to sleep knowing that the neighbors next door were very noisy ... The walls must be thin.
A complimentary breakfast or a word of explanation or excuse would not have been too much.

A superb experience, the black diamond suite is beautiful, a decor that makes traveling! The shower which is hammam and the gigantic bathtub are a real plus! However we found a bottle of alcohol hidden in a corner of the room ... not very professional! And some bulbs were roasted ...

The location is good with two metro stations close by ,which is easy to get around paris.

Upon arrival the hotel is not easily recognisable from the outside. They also asked us for an 150 deposit which we were not made aware of before hand.

When we got to our room we were a little disappointed as it did not look as nice as the pictures. The cleaning in the room could use some work as we found some dust. The carpet had stains on it and there were a couple of cracks in the mirror. The overall lighting in the room was very dark and grim in my opinion.

The bathroom smelt really unpleasant ,like a strong mouldy smell of damp. Some of the floor boards were coming off. The water in the shower head ran slowly.

The one thing that I was surprised about, was that , there was no safe in the room. The safe was at reception?????
How do they expect us to feel comfortable leaving valuables at reception , where all staff are able to access it?

The lift was very noisy and you could hear and feel the vibrations of it when people were using it during early morning hours or late at night. There were also some construction going on in the early morning (drilling and hammering ) which disrupted our sleep on a few occasions.

Overall , I don t feel like this hotel is 4stars and could definitely do with some improvements.

Excellent option to stay in Paris. Design rooms, friendly staff and available. Close to the Latin Quarter and well served by transport. Highly recommend.
