Sesame Temps, Inc. Review

I must say this is the ONLY temp agency in YORK that genuinely cared about what type of work I was looking for instead of sticking me in a warehouse position which is something that is very complicated for me because of injuries I ve had in the past! I very much appreciate them working with me & helping me get more clerical experience!!! This is the ONLY temp agency in YORK that listened to what kind of work I wanted to do! I ve been to other agencies and honestly have not been happy with the work I was given! This agency actually cares about the people that come to work for them! I m very happy with the way they did work with me & promptly find me a position that I am very happy with! I look forward to continuing to work with sesame until I find a stable/permanent position! This was my first experience with a temp agency, and it has been absolutely amazing. They were willing to work with me to find the perfect fit. They took in what I was looking for as a schedule and work load and found just what I was looking for! They had full time positions and temp to hire position available.

It seemed to be a good and organized temp agency until the warehouse representative met with me, she seemed sick of her job, rolling her eyes every two words. Then the second representative for the clerical jobs met with me she was looking even more unhappy of talking. Asked if i had resume on hand, i said id email it to her right then and there and gave me dirty looks when i i ask for her email address. That not being enough she had to stop the interview to go answer a "very important" call left me waiting for only about 45minutes. I grabbed all of my paperwork and walked out of that place.
Not sure if im only one that finds weird that the potential employee PAYS for the drug test, and stated by the recruiter "its a 5$ fee for the test, and if you fail you can go to X urgent care and pay 65$ or come back and pay is 25$" not only that, but also i was asked to bring the steel toed boots and X type of long sleeve shirts for a potential job starting mid January, for the recruiter to inspect the day of my drug test. NEVER in my life i heard of anything like this....
Oh and to top all this off, they ask people to sign a form stating that you will NOT give them a negative review on Google or any social Media. Well, i wouldn't have done it if you guys were more professional.
Tammy was the only nice person there, she should hire me as a recruiter, i am way more professional than the women shes got there.

Honestly. I had to choose them all, because this to me is what I experienced. I had the opportunity of meeting Krystal and Sherry about 2 going on 3 years ago. I don't consider myself good at writing reviews that is the only reason it took me this long. But working with this agency is fantastic. They have great customer service, and they assign you with a business that is spot on in match with your skill set. I was given the opportunity of a full-time position not long after having starting working with Sesame. So just as someone recommended Sesame Temp to me I will for sure do the same. I have been using Sesame Temps, intermittently, for nearly 30 years. They have always managed to come through for me by either placing me as a temp or helping find a temp to hire position.
