Had a great experience at Sweetbriar the two times I have played here. The course has a nice mixture of holes and was surprisingly well kept as far as the condition of the airways and greens go. The clubhouse is expansive and has great tasting food with prompt service.
Legacy is a nice and decently maintained course, but the rangers are some of the rudest and most crotchety people I ve come across in a customer service position. Nasty for the sake of it. Pro shop, bar and front desk staff are great and courteous. The rangers, however, could use an update. They follow and watch you like hawks for the first few holes and really set the round off in a poor manner. It s as if they don t feel like they re doing their jobs unless they find a reason to harass and hound you. Hopefully new staff out there in the spring.
Highest standard of quality good and service ... This is a Gem of a venue that provides a variety of family friendly foods and golf with plenty of social activities at a great value for all age groups.
id rather have a root canal than play here. Main goal of this course, filling their tee sheet. Thinks 2 hours and 30 minutes if perfectly fine for 9 holes. AVOID
Played golf here on Friday May 14. Without any notice when booking tee time, they now consider Fridays as a weekend and charged $60.00. After inquiring about new rate, the conversation immediately went to ...you don't have to play here...Needless to say we won't be back....This golf course is definitely not worth $60.00...Hole number 6 is a complete joke with it's make shift attempt as a golf hole...course must have lost some kind of lawsuit vs home owners because now you play from makeshift tee box...There are many other golf courses in the area that have a way better value than this place.... there were not many players out...I guess the price was the factor...steer clear...last year's rate on Friday as a senior was 31.00....even the starter had no idea rate was changed...deceptive in my opinion...

Thinks a 2 hour and 20 minute 9 hole round is acceptable and admits stacking their tee sheet is their goal over a golfers enjoyment. Unless you want a painfully slow round and to play a course thats mismanaged by horrible greedy management, avoid at all cost. Everything that's wrong with todays golf is here at this club.
Little wet but for first time out this year couldnt be happier with the weather today. Heavy rain last night so fairly wet but still very playable, and fun to be on.
Always a good round, just stay outa the water when in play
