Rose in the Springfield ohio meijer needs help organizing! She Calles you at 12 to have an interview, tells you to hurry and she had 2 interview that didn't show. Then says she will email you the paper work. She then called me the next day to say she is giving the hiring process over to adecco for 50cents less?
FCFS. Fast and quick unloading. Thank you for good service
Best company I've ever worked for. I've been with SUS for 6+ years getting close to 7. And in those 7 years I've been treated like a person, not just another number or employee. They have invested time and money into training me to be a better person and manager. I began my career with Serv-u-Success in march of 2012 as a merchandiser. In 2014 I was promoted to Store Manager. In November of 2018 I was promoted to Market Manager. Unfortunately in April that position was eliminated. But with the company's investment into training I was offered a new position as a Flagship Store Manager. In this new position I'm responsible for training new and current store managers. I highly recommend submitting an application with SUS immediately if you are looking for a career in retail.
Got here the night before. Parked between some dropped trailers. Nobody bothered me at night and in the morning i checked in at 7 and was empty by 8:15 even though my appointment was set for 9am.
Worked as a part-time. I got 16~20+ hours a week sometimes more sometimes less depending on the week. It requires hard work that is brain-numbing. Stock this, stock that, walk around for 6 hours straight. We get 15 mins break per 4 hours but honestly the Managers never remind us of this so we just keep chugging away. It was 10$ an hour for me and I understand it's pretty decent for just part-time but the job was simply too boring. Still work here but I could hope for a better job.
Great place to deliver, nice staff and quick unload. Small for maneuver.
Great place to deliver. Fast in and out, maybe 30min max.
The worst company I have ever worked for. I was harassed by the managers. Told me because I was young I didn't know how to work. When I had put in my two weeks notice and went to work for a different vendor full time, my product is in the aback by theirs and they told me who I could and could not talk to, plus told the new managers that took over that they needed to watch me. I don't work for the company anymore and feel like I am being watched for no reason. I will never recommend anyone for a job at that company again.
Pretty easy to park, unless it's super full. Then just find an out of the way place and drop your trailer.
One of this companies drivers just nearly ran me and my 5 month old into another car on the road. They started coming into my Lane when there was a car already in my blind spot. The other car had to move over for me. The weather out is very bad. Who ever is driving truck TR1520 should pay attention to what they are doing before they cause serious injury or death.
This is the ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO DELIVER TO!!! These guys should be teaching how they are so efficient. Excellent...
FCFS, parked on street the night before with no issues. Was unloaded in less than 30 minutes.
Worked for Serve u for 8 months. They dont care about you,and if you want a raise good luck. The manager (Deb ) gets vacations all the time but you cant get a nickle out of them. She almost threw a pretzel bag in my face cause she was having a bad day.Never in my life have i ever been treated worse. You work weekends and Sundays are hell. Its totally up to you but i give my experience their a F. And if you work at the Myers store in Marion,Ohio.Good luck cause the boss is a freak like a little Hitler!
To get here used 44 th st from 131 when you get to the place read sign and make left turn, they are organized and quick unloading, good luck, over night parking is ok
I was hired in as a team lead, I have my associate degree in business. I have done meijer stores for about 6 years with the old company who did the reset. I love doing reset, I say it is a very good job to work for. Just wish my manager was a little more respectful towards me. It ok to have a mean boss but it is what it is.
This was the worst 11 months of employment I ve ever had. The work is easy and boring, but that s not the problem. The manager, was illiterate, a misogynist, disrespectful, disorganized, lazy, unprofessional, two faced, conniving, manipulative and intrusive. He threatened to fire me because, after he insulted my friend to me, I stood up for them. He never did any work, I always did everything. He eventually hired another employee to take an assistant manager position and the week that person started working he went on vacation leaving me to train that person to take a position above me, he forced them to tell me about the fact that I had been over looked for the position because he didn t want to be the bad guy . He would talk about my pay rate in front of Meijer employees where they could here my personal business. He was always late to work. He disrespected me and took advantage of me because I was a hard worker and worked faster and better than anyone he had worked with before. He constantly told me that I would be hired in but I remained a temp the whole time I was there. He eventually began lying about me and trying to sabotage me by accusing me of not checking dates but those out dates only ever showed up when I was not there. One day I told him that I was not there to be his friend, I was there to do my job and that s all I wanted to do. He apparently took this as a bad thing and developed a grudge against me. He has said inappropriate things about female emploees and stares at female customers. there was so much horrible things this man did while I was there. When a coworker complained to his boss about him treating her badly and threatening to fire her because she had one more day off a week than he did, she was fired. So I was unable to say anything for fear of being fired as well. If you work for this company stay away from bowling green.
Started as assistant store manager. Came from otr merchandising, tons of experience in major resets and reflows, ample experience in general merchandising, and management experience. They advertise 13 to 15 dollars an hour. Told me I didn't have enough experience to justify more than 13. Which is what they pay all hourly employees.i was with this company six months, no mention of a raise ever. I even had a baby in this time. This company doesn't care about its people. I even saw a yoing lady promoted to a management position from general merchandiser, no raise. Absolute dead end job. If you are single and looking for a first gig, it's easy. If you have a family and work here you'll need secondary income..
Unauthorized people and cars all over the place. Private property that a neighboring church likes to use as a parking lot.
One of the worst companies to work for. My manager Anne in the Meijer, Oswego IL location was extremely lazy and spiteful. She s even gone as far as to tamper with my hours without my consent. This is an overnight position, the reason why I bring this up is because Anne does not manager her first shift items. I ve found rotten foods multiple times for sections that she and her team handles during first shift. I ve taken many photos of how Anne leaves things and brought it to the attention of her boss John Hankes, but he simply defends her. I do feel that color play a huge roll, as there are members from other teams who get what they needed and are accommodated where as my supervisor and myself did all the work. There was one period where my supervisor had unload pallets filled with heavy and bulky items. This includes DSD and pallets from when resets were being done. Unfortunately, my supervisor was hurt and the company has no care in the world. We ve expressed multiple times that we need help with larger resets and no help was sent but for the lighter tones in other locations it s been confirmed that help was sent. Anne and John Hankes have the worst work ethic. Hopefully changes will be made.
Used to work for the company. Was full time, got screwed around with getting 40 hours a week for over 4 months. Was on 3rd shift doing resets and told I would get the hours originally promised when I hired into the position. 4 months and most weeks only working 20 hours or less. Talked to management about it numerous times and got more empty promises. They don't care much for their employees, they're just replaceable bodies. I point my finger at Shawn and Hollie for doing next to nothing about the situation they put me and the team I worked with into. If you need a quick job stocking shelves as a temperary employee, it's fine, just don't hire into the company. My whole team ended up walking off the job it was that bad. Hopefully this raises some eyebrows and certain policy changes get revoked so things can be ran the way they did in 2015. Mike K should be running PST teams!
If your bringing a load of goodies, you can expect a quick unload time, generally less than 30 min.
My favorite place to deliver. Great people, overnight parking and quick to get trucks unloaded
