Serafina Italian Restaurant Review

This was beautiful!! initially a small place, but then the outdoor seating blows you away!!! the inside is gorgeously set up yet a bit small, but the fact that the restaurant is literally on a dock overlooking the marina is gorgeous!!!! perfect for a romantic dinner or brunch. The location is perfect and the food was even better!!! The Benedict and bottomless mimosas are definitely the star of the show!!!! super yummy and great service. will definitely be coming again!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Broward. Food is so fresh, location is amazing and service is great. Not a big dessert person but I literally have their Tiramisu every time.

Food was not what we expected and the service had attitude. Quite disappointed.

The waiter only deserve 5*.
The chef deserves 3* for design and 0* for cooking skills
First time in my life in Italian restaurant they haven t provided any bread with olive oil & balsamic, nothing. The arugula salad for $13 was just a package of arugula from any supermarket. Disappointed
My tiramisu was beautiful but tasted like for the supermarket. The check was like $75 for 2 kids spaghetti, pack of arugula , one eggplant and one tiramisu. Does not worth at all.

What a menu and gourmet set of options. Service was excellent. The 4 of us each had different special, which were all rated superb as we each tasted the others. Huge wine list with a large inventory of Italian wines.

The only problem is you need to know to go here. And, try to sit outside by the marina.

Went here for dinner with some friends, had the best Italian food and experience we have ever had (we have been to Italy). The owner came over and greeted us, making sure our experience was unique. Food and drinks were beyond unbelievable, staff were amazing, will definitely return for more. Oh and the waterfront terrace and atmosphere leave for an unforgettable experience

So glad we finally got to go, it was our first choice on Valentine's day but it was all booked. The ambiance is very cozy and romantic the service was superb and the food was delish. Will be back!

family own restaurant tables by the water must make reservations cause it not a big restaurant it gets crowded easy and there would be a wait time but it is worth it the portions are big that you can share for 3 ppl

Friendly service and huge portions.
The atmosphere is relaxing, right on the water. Prices reflect the area and ingredients fairly. A+

We made a reservation specifically asking if we can come by boat. They said, " no problem, you can dock your boat here!" After 1 hour and 20 mins of traveling, we arrive before our reservation. We called again to be sure we could pull the boat up. They then said no, that they do own the dock, and therefore cannot give us permission to dock. The receptionist was rude on top of that. Will not go there, even by car.

Outstanding open air dinner setting on the Intercoastal. Food is delicious, service is wonderful. A hidden gem.

This spot always delivers. They serve excellent dishes for convenient pricing, there are no long waits even when the spot is loaded.

What a perfect end to a magical day. Serafina exceeded all of our expectations! Everything from the atmosphere to the staff and most importantly the food was first class. Look no further for a romantic evening with your special someone. We celebrated our wedding and 3yr anniversary there, and couldn t be happier with our choice. I don't know where to start! First pandemic era... all staff wore masks and we were very comfortable...so comfortable we forgot we were in a pandemic even with the masks. Reserved a table at 5pm. They open at 5pm. They were packed and they still accommodated us on the water. So comfortable with the awning over our head and the water/boats directly next to us. So relaxing! Our menus were paper and had a rich look to them. Staff was beyond excellent and the owners Dominick and his ginger headed mother made the hospitality rounds. Quite the pair and both had the gift of gab. Felt like friends, not unknown customers. Food was amazing and the grilled octopus/calamari appetizer tasted fresh like the sea. So good!!!! Also had the meatball which we lapped up with the bread and a ceasar salad. Entrees were the pork chop, rib eye, veal chop and the fresh snapper of the day livornese style. All were to die for! We stuck around for dessert and all argued that one picked the tiramisu, one picked the cannoli and one picked the ricotta cheesecake as being the best. Couldn't decide since all were amazing. Had a bottle of Rodney Strong Pinto Noir and was a perfect choice for a perfect evening. They get a 5 out of 5!!!!!

Decent food. Terrible service. We were ignored by lance and could not get desert. Had to go to the lobby to get our check. Will not be back.

My friend and I decided to try Serafina while out shopping. The restaurant is gorgeous. We had a lovely server Janine who insisted on the branzino so we tried that and the daily pasta special. Both were out of this world. We have ate in many restaurants and this by far stands out. Service 10 food 10 ambiance 10!

Good food and good service! Doesn't have a really nice location but as a Marina Water View. Anyway worth to try!

Just had a great wine tasting dinner with Marco. He explained the food/wine combinations and the history of the vineyards. Great food and evening.

Food and service was excellent, and my wife was in love with the scenery.

Food was mediocre. Its stuck in the 80's. Service was attentive. Yeah, it's on the water, but you don't actually see it. You are staring straight into a row of boats sandwiched beside each other. I was going to rate this place with 3 stars until I went to the washroom. It got downgraded because it's just unclean. Washrooms are very dirty and en route you get a glimpse into the kitchen, which is also dirty and messy. The outdoor dining room also feels unclean.

A lovely restaurant. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved the food, service and atmosphere! Just a perfect evening by the water. We'll be back!

Great location on canal with yachts right in front of your table. We enjoyed excellent service from a lady who has been there for many years. We've been to Serafina several times many years ago, and had found the Italian cuisine they then served to be exquisite. This visit, the food was still good but the Risotto al boscaiola was not quite what I expected based on my past experiences. Still, one of the most wonderful places in Fort Lauderdale for a romantic dinner.

The view is obstructed but it is a nice cozy spot for an anniversary dinner, first date.

The service was amazing, friendly, and treated us wonderfully! The location was unbeatable as we could look out to the canal from the dock. The food was fresh and yummy.

Me and my wife went last weekend to try something different. So So good!!! Service was amazing, everyone was so kind. Romantic setting by the water, truly amazing. Totally reccommend
