Fantastic food. Great service & wonderful atmosphere.

The restaurant was incredible.The food was delicious. The hostes Victoria Santiago was amazing and delightful. The best hostes ever.

We are on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, we search on google this restaurant and sounded good, a fine dine restaurant with nice reviews and great star rate. Well, turns out that the restaurant it is totally the opposite.
Our waitress wasn t at the level of a fine dine restaurant, I would say that she thought that she was serving in a diner at 3am... TERRIBLE!!!! AWFUL!!!
In other hand the food was OK, nothing spectacular and know that the portions of the dishes are huge at the point that you don t want to eat it when arrives to the table.
FYI THIS IS NOT A FINE DINE RESTAURANT.

The food was really well prepared and tasty. We sat right at the water and the view gorgeous.

Great place to take people from inland America.....dinning 10 feet from yachts...inside or out....good higher medium priced Italian Kitchen.....has Valet out front.

Food was excellent but disappointed in waiter. Don t know his name but told us he is from Croatia. First I asked if the franchise snapper special could be grilled or served differently. Very abrupt No. My husband ordered the snapper franchise and they served the snapper with San Marzano sauce., in error. Interesting that when I asked for a change it was NO. After dinner never asked if we wanted coffee and desert. Brought the bill and my husband asked what s for desert. Instead of apologizing he started reading the desert menu. Arrogant and disappointing. We just gave him a credit card and said he s ignorant.Food excellent. Waiter poor.

Not a bad place for a special occasion, food was good and tasty, but nothing really stood out that I would want to go back there

Fine individually handcrafted meals overlooking romantic waterway. Fresh fish and excellent shellfish we opted to sit in the well designed cozy interior. Family food served with panache.

One of the best Italian restaurants in all of south Florida.Wonderful appetizers,great entrees & they'll make you veal anyway you like it, not to mention great service!!

Let me start off by saying the service is good and the place is nice. However, this is NOT an Authentic Italian Restaurant. The food was not good. All our dishes were terrible, very fishy, and not presentable. If you know what Authentic Italian Food taste like, you will be extremely disappointed in this place. I would not recommend this Restaurant.

Unique and fun little gem of a restaurant!

I probably would have never stopped in if my wife did not see this place and insist on trying it. What we found was quite a surprise. Lovely waterfront dining right on the canal with a wonderful romantic atmosphere. They even have live music on a weeknight! We had a short wait, but enjoyed a tasty handcrafted cocktail at the bar.

The servers were experienced and spot-on. The food was good with a wide variety of Italian fare featuring fresh seafood. Well not be best food I've ever had, it was all generally very good. If you decide to go, be forewarned that parking can be a little bit of a challenge. There are a few meters Street side, or else you are stuck with valet. However, overall we love this restaurant and we'll definitely be back!

Comically terrible from the homeless people smoking outside to the terrible stench of the waterway, this restaurant was seriously lacking! We had such high hopes based off the other reviews, but please don t waste your time! Service was inattentive, obtrusive and condescending. The food really was not good at all. We really wanted to like this place it just ended up being high priced box noodles. EDIT- food poisoning from this place do not recommend

Excellent food and service, we can't wait to experience it again

Quaint little place whose entrance evokes a back alley feel. But inside is nicely appointed, and the real treasure is out on the water. We sat at a table right next to multi million-dollar yachts. Wait staff was friendly, the food was served very quickly. We got bruschetta then bread before the meal came and it was tasty.

The ONLY place to eat TRUE italian food in Fort Lauderdale!

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very friendly and the food they cook is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a decent meal here. Highly recommended.

On the Intracoastal Waterway and if you sit outside on the patio you will have a view of the water. Bring your wallet it is expensive. The service was fantastic the food was good

Just finished dinner here. We sat outside, right next to the water. Our waiter made great suggestions for food, kept our wine glasses full, and was very friendly.

The food was fantastic! I had a spicy angel hair pasta with shrimp. It was delicious and the portion was huge -- I couldn't even begin to finish it.

We'll definitely be back for the food, the view, and the people!

I need more stars to rank how great this place is. Professional servers made the experience memorable. Cool waterside location was romantic. The food was divine. Linguine and white clam sauce was a garlicky delight. My girlfriend had the a di mare dish that was both delicious and abundant. What was the name of house merlot. I would have had more but I had to drive back to Miami. Even the bruschetta was out this world.

Meatballs were amazing! We didn't care for the wine the waiter led us to but that's not the restaurant's fault. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious! Ambiance was pretty incredible as well with the tables right on the water by some nice catamarans.

Great atmosphere and the waiter was very gracious and made the vibe so much the better. Food was good, salmon wasn't the best but the tuna tartar was great.

The atmosphere and service was amazing! I ordered the jumbo shrimp al cognac and had the 1995. Both were superb. Recommend and will come back!

I had the best lasagna I ve ever had. Joe was an excellent waiter. Kind of tucked away on side street off Sunrise Blvd but this makes it even a better experience.

I admire this restaurant! They offer fantastic food, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is an expert, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is agreeable. I often eat in this place and I not even once was unhappy. I highly recommend it.

The food and service was ehh. We came at 2pm and it was brunch and very few selections. The waiter spoke under his breath and you couldn t understand what he was saying, they changed shifts and no one even introduced us to our new waiter. First Italian restaurant that doesn t give bread and when you ask for it they say they don t have. Not somewhere I would revisit or recommend.

The service was casual, not in the sense of being laid back, but rather unconcerned about our experience. And at a restaurant that has a vision of itself as fine dining I don t expect the servers to constantly reach over people at the table to place and retrieve plates. The sea bass and shrimp were over cooked; the ragu had little flavor. Compliments for the wine list - it has nice selections at reasonable prices. The tiramisu was good and the coffee excellent.

Great food, great experience!! I'm from New Jersey and on vacation here in Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to have a great meal with reasonable prices. The lamb chops was superb, 10 stars in my book.

We liked it. Good food, good atmosphere, and a weird massage, blow .up hot tub thing going on next to us. That was odd but and overall good experience.

Last night we went with friends for dinner. An Osobucco from lamb shank does not meet the Osobucco style. Osobucco is veal and never lamb.
The chosen dishes where brought after 5 minutes. Fresh cooking, no way! Presentation awful and taste too.
As one stated before, safe your money and eat at Olive Garden, for 40%.
Best of all the view on the Intracoastal.

I went here for my Bday(9/18) dinner after getting the suggestion from my girlfriend. I ordered this Angus filet in a onion sauce and it was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the waiter (who I forgot his name, sorry) was very friendly and on point. The atmosphere outside is amazing at night atleast when I went.

Great spinach fettuccine alfredo! Service was a great and a wide selection of wines available.

It is not the pace to go if you're a vegetarian. Only one pasta dish came as vegetarian, but you could vary it a little. If you're dinning with others, dinner can be very expensive

Amazing food and service..loved sitting by the water

This is a false italian restaurant (said by an italian). The dishes were horrible, without flavour, impossible to eat. The waitress was really impolite. I have no comment about this restaurant, I don't know how it can has so good comments. Never again.

Very pricey and not a huge selection, the wait staff were nice but not very helpful.

I was craving shrimp fra diavalo for a while. I usually go to maggianos in Boca to get my Italian cravings satisfaction but I was in broward area and placed an order for pick up. From the outside you would not think it would be a fancy place but I was surprised when I walked in. It definitely gave me a Italian vibe and the place looked clean. I didn t go outside but you can tell it would be a nice place for the outside water/boat views. The staff were super friendly and I was greeted by every single staff member that walked by. I was just not satisfied with my meal. For it being pricey, I was not happy getting a ton of angel hair pasta with not enough sauce and 4 jumbo shrimp! I was shocked and very disappointed.

Outstanding Italian cuisine and service in a charming waterfront setting on the Intercoastal Waterway.

If you want Italian food you re DEFINITELY going to want to come to Serafina.

The bread is so soft and amazing oil.

Almost Every entree was a hit: spicy shrimp was the best with angel hair.

My oval shaped pasta with sausage was good but not great.

The snapper got a great review as perfectly prepared and delicious.

The pappardelle is soooo big.

Tiramisu A MUST ORDER.

I wanted badly to be able to give this place five stars being the third or fourth time I've been here but whether it's under different management than eight years ago or whether my culinary and service tastes have evolved in as many years, I just don't see it being worth that rating now. The service was as previous reviews have described, lackluster and underwhelming (this coming from someone who doesn't like to be disturbed frequently while dining) and the food, while good, was not by itself worthwhile.

Excellent food and service. Joe, who attended us, deserves a medal for service. My only complaint was about the reservation, as we had to wait 25 '.
