Hands down the best experiences Ive ever had with an audiologist. They spent time asking me questions and answered any questions I had regarding my tinnitus/hearing loss. It was nice to not just feel like a number. I had impressions done, and cannot wait to try out my custom earplugs. Dont push it off any longer, you dont realize what you had until it's gone. Hearing protection is a must.

I was interested in getting a pair of custom sleep plugs from Sensaphonics, and I was also interested in purchasing a second set of ear impressions to send to the manufacturer of my in-ear monitors to get custom ear-tips made -- seems like a pretty normal request to me, and I was happy to pay for them. No problem with scheduling a $75 hearing screening and selling me $100 ear plugs.

However, and I quote, "[they] will not support other businesses" so they wouldn't sell me a second set of impressions. But they will gladly accept impressions done by other audiologists in order to sell you a set of their own in-ear monitors. The representative also claimed that they are "all about hearing conservation" -- seems to me they're more about making a buck and preventing anyone else from doing so.

Oh, and when I tried to call back to make sure I understood them correctly, they wouldn't answer my calls.

It's a shame, really. I wasn't going to buy headphones from them either way. I'm not a musician, nor do I need $1000 headphones when I already have a $200 pair that works great. Good thing there are other audiologists in Chicago who will gladly accept my money for the same services!

This is my second time with Sensaphonics as I just had new ear molds for some Shure 425's and custom ear filters with Etymotic research. They fit great, they won't ever fall out. I love how the ear filters allow me to play drums in practice and live and still hear my band so I can really react to them musically. This was as important to me as saving my hearing. So much better than using cheaper ear plugs. Worth the cost by far! The hearing test was thorough and I appreciate the help and consultation with Heather. This place is one of a kind

I was lucky enough to visit this place a few years ago to get fitted for slms custom sleeves for my Shure 535 IEM's. Dr Santucci was wonderful and understandably proud of the work he does. He took the time to show me around the office and all the various artists he's worked with over the years.

The sleeves I purchased had some small fitting issues after I received them. The office had no problem making modifications I needed and had them back to me within days. The sleeves are still working great and I'm extremely satisfied. I'll be going back if I'm ever able to afford an upgrade to my current IEM's.

Sensaphonics is an excellent company that takes care of their customers. I have been using Sensaphonics in-ear monitors as a full time DJ in Toronto and Calgary for 6 years now. Their products protect my hearing and let me earn a living doing what I love.
