Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Review

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff members are very polite. They keep the machines sanitize and they make sure everyone is wearing their masks

The lights, the sound of winning money.....beautiful
people and stale cigarettes and all that sweet extra oxygen being pumped in the air. Wooooo!

Big casino. Lots of slots. I felt.luke the energy there was winning and not just taking money..although I didn't win much, well, I wo. $800 . But lost it back after gambling a long time.
But it was worth it and really.fun. we were in town visiting family.and stopped at this casino.for food and games.

Oh,and the chicken mac and chwse.in the Cafe is DELICIOUS.

Nice...just need to add cheaper tables. $25 and up blackjack tables.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I enjoy walking around and having a coffee or mixed drink while my husband plays cards. Aside from the difficulty separating smoking from non, I'm rating this place highly based on atmosphere alone. Additionally, their measures taken to maintain cleanliness and social distancing are applaudable.

As far as the hotel its self the room was amazing however there was not enough sanitizing on the casino floor and masks are required but so not enforced always and a young bartender just kept telling us what mot to do instead of accommodating us when our friend just got married.

Rules are strictly enforced casino is nice but much harder to access to certain things with the new renivations.

Enjoyed my stay. Though the machines were not paying. I guess we're paying for the beautiful hotel. Food was very good, had dinner, breakfast and took home some desserts.

Awesome just awesome best part is when any one refuses to wear a mask to cover their face or don't want to have their temperature taken out out they go no questions asked that and all the cleanliness of the whole play play place just love it

Everything was wonderful except when I first got in the shower the floor was extremely slippery like it had a lot of soap down and I actually fell. Cut my self pretty badley.

Always love being in this particular venue...awesome location...and some of my top favorite things I love....music, sports, food, and general atmosphere...to rejuvenate me.

I am so happy I live close to this place. Fun atmosphere and even if you lost a few bucks, there's those comp dollars for some yummy food. The place could use a little more shopping places thought like Vegas has.

Not that I like it if they would let me win once in awhile they could be a 4 star the players card i have will let them know that I'm not there 5 times a day anymore and they are losing just like me

The Casino is enormous with 4 parking garages and plenty of gambling for everyone. Its lots of fun, eating and entertainment. You can feel the energy as you walk in. Live entertainment from comedians to singers and it seems like there is always something going on. Great place to visit!

I attempted to order martini, but was told they were out if glasses and could not serve in a different glass.
Salad was drenched in dressing.
Chicken and waffles good flavor, we just thought it would have been tenders.

Reservation was made however we still waited about 45 minutes to be seated.

Otherwise, great!

Had a really nice time and even won. Definitely worth visiting even if you don't gamble. Missing one star because you wait forever for a waitress to order a drink. Especially between 3am to 6am

Love the games and the service. The food is good and i always win something.

Nobody walking around selling drinks. Had service light on the machine next to me for 2hrs before anybody finally came. The cleaning staff don't keep the machines clean

The Corona security staff are aggressive and rude. 3 times while taking a drink with my mask lowered was talked to aggressively, disrespectfully and yet I was following the rules. Give people authority and they can't even be professional or kind.

Fun Fun filled place. The restaurants are nice and the pool. It is also kid friendly so if you have a family bring them.

Went to the Rise up cafe to eat. Had pastrami sandwich and it was awesome! Our server Megan was such a wonderful server. Very professional and very attentive to our table.

This was the first casino I've been to where I had to pay for my drinks while playing at the casino. Hence thw reason qhy I gave them.a 4 out of 5 stars. I didn't stay at the hotwl so I can't comment on the rooms, but the ambience was good.

We spent two nights at the hotel. The room was nice and the tub / shower was large and had excellent pressure. It was a non smoking room but the hallway reeked of pot and it seeped into our room. A complaint to the front desk did nothing. We had lunch at the Rise. My wife asked for a patty melt and received two pieces of dry toast with a cheese burger inside. When we showed a picture of what a Patty melt should look like they gave us a box of muffins. We had dinner at the Council Oaks. Phenomenal. I did a separate review about that experience 5 stars.

While the casino is nice and has a wide variety of slots, I was very disappointed in the casino host,Teresa. In Hollywood, when we check out, the casino host would normally cover the extra $150 in expenses. Actually, in the past they have covered our pool bar bill after a full day at the pool. Teresa said that everything changed this year and they no longer have the discretion to comp like they used too. I asked for another casino host to no avail. The rating is for the casino host services. In the future I would go to Hollywood or Biloxi. I know the payouts in Atlantis and Niagara Falls are bigger.

There's a lot of people playing machines very serious.guess I'm just old school I remember they had entertainment and drinks in the casinos,not just shopping and machines. Nobody seems happy. I gave it two stars because I found a cool shirt in one of the shops, no help from the salesperson. And I'm only bringing that up because I asked him specifically if he had anyting by a particular artist and he said no, it's not like he had so much merchandise. I wanted to go on a date with my husband too hard rock but I changed my mind. I'll pick somewhere with a little bit of fun

Incredible time even with all the new covid-19 restrictions it was so nice to get back out there! Plenty of social distancing covid security every where

The casino in Tampa has always be a great place to go for entertainment, food, and lodging. This time was a total disappointment. There main restaurant (smorgasbord ) was closed. I first went to the counter at Rise and the menu was very veg, so I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with wilted lettuce and a soggy bun. went back down stares and went to the food court. purchased food from all 3 and it was uneatable except the rice and egg role, chicken half was so over cooked , the Bourbon chicken was so dry and the garlic bread roles were like leather with no flavor. Room service was wonderful and very polite. The room 325 on the west wing was okay, but little instructions how to order food and the shower was rusty and leaking.
A microwave would also be a plus. All in all this was not one of my better experiences.

Absolutely amazing environment, has handled the pandemic very well after their reopening, staff are always polite and inviting.

The food was great,but the server was very slow about getting too you to give the check/ hard rock cafe!

Visited the casino for a day and had a great time! The rock n' roll history displays are fantastic -- they've got outfits/guitars from so many different stars, from Liza Minnelli to All American Rejects, James Brown, Bon Jovi, Gwen Stefani, and Avril Lavigne!

Got issues with my account taken care of quickly and efficiently. Then went to the noodle bar then a sweets place inside. Amazing customer service and kind workers that will joke with you.

I was disappointed I could not get the Saturday brunch it was closed. That was not mentioned any where on the web site. We ate the pizza and was very disappointed in the food. I played slots for about 5 minutes and lost the $20 I put in. Put $5 in five cent slot got to puch the button once and money was gone. I did not have fun and won't be back.

Interesting recording artist and band memorabilia throughout the venue! Plenty of creative and unique food options at all price points. They even have a coffee bar and a food court!

Won enough to pay for our entire trip visiting friends for the week in the area. I am sure this would not be the case every visit, but it was for our first one :). Place was very clean for a casino and filled with priceless memorabilia every which eay you could look.

Great place to stay. Room was amazing. Clean, great view and spacious. On the pricier side but that's to be expected. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway.

This casino rocks from morning till night. Slot were hitting too. Great food court, and the have a noodle bar that stays open till 4am!!! Nice spot to cool off in on a hot summer night for sure! Parking was free too.

I really like the walk thru temperature check and the large security guard at the finish line. I felt safe.

Great place to visit and I live local. Their hotel staff is wonderful. You get great sleep in their accommodations. The Casino staff and host are genuine and I always have a great time. Parking can be a bit of a pain because the distant you have to walk or pay $25.00 a day for valet. That s the only negative

Being from Florida, I'm not used to gambling. However I have visited Las Vegas, and I must say that this Casino feels like I walked right into one of the mega casinos on the Vegas strip.

Seems the casino is trying to keep infection rates down so thumbs up there. Also my wallet fell out of my purse and was turned in by a worker. Security was quick, efficient and very patient with me!!! Still some areas are a little too crowded for my taste so 4+ stars.

This hotel is great. The pool is big and nice, they had the best burgers Ive ever had and the room was fabulous. Ive never stayed at a better hotel than this.

Don't come here expecting to win money, come here expecting to pay for your own entertainment. If you bring a positive attitude, this is an excellent place to unwind. Beautiful inside and out, you'll not find a better selection of games. We really enjoyed the variety of slots at this location, they seemed pretty tight too; but I didn't expect anything else. We still had some nice hits, and really enjoyed ourselves.

It was free to park in the parking garage, and everything is on the third floor. Masks are mandatory. Once inside, there's multiple restaurants to choose from, plenty of shops, and of course the casino-which does allow smoking. There's also an upstairs casino that's smoke free. We're not really gamblers, but did have a lot of fun playing the games.

I always like it here. It's clean, the people who work here are respectful and nice, never any major issues. It's a casino so off you're going in thinking you're walking out with mote than you came in with...you should probably stop gambling. If you know what to expect they have a large variety of games from non-expensive games to high rollers areas. Good food that isn't extremely expensive, pretty well priced. Always enjoy it there.

Great place to visit while in Tampa.
I was unlucky at the casino but my mother in law was super lucky.
We enjoyed our time here. The place is massive with so many options for slots. I did not stay in the hotel so my review is only for the casino. The golden piano was the one Elvis Presley had and generally they have many celebrity pieces. I recommend visiting this casino!

This place is so overrated. I guess it depends on what you are there for. If you are solely looking for a place to go in and gamble - you got it here. But if you want a night away and to have a fun experience at their hotel and casino - pass. No shopping. Lame entertainment. The amenities advertised in the room were all broken with no offer to fix or give us a discount. Got a great view of a roof in my room with a view. Just not worth it in my opinion unless you are there solely to hang out in the casino.

Casino was decent. Machines were staggered due to corona which is a plus however masks weren t really being enforced. More slots than anything.

Had a great time at the hard Rock . Can t wait to go back once everything reopens . They have non smoking and smoking casino , restaurants , live music , and really cool memorabilia.

The food was fantastic, but I am not a big fan of the cigarette smoke that was in the air.

The casino was very nice, and had a lot of interesting memorabilia. Being from Memphis and seeing Elvis's gold piano was a real treat.

This place speaks for itself good times good food and beautiful rooms. You determine your faith here. It's all on you.

This place is amazing and fun as always.it just keeps getting better. Id live there if I could. Its suoer clean and they have new stuff each time I go.
My onky coming were some fairly smart @$$Ed employees in 2 of the shoppes. It was def.bot enough to mess up my night, but ill say they do need a re-train on customer service!!!

Aside from that, gorgeous views and rooms...everything is immaculate...safety is everywhere(you feel super safe without being bothered by people from security nagging you)....games are great(I even found some great new slots that I fell in love with, esp.this Halloween one-so fun)! I really can't say anything bad about Seminole Hard Rock. I've been going since the last brick was laid on opening day, and it just gets bigger and better with time, without comprising the surrounding land(they build upward, not outward, which i love an environmentally friendly place--they also help in thay aspect in other ways, which is amazing, thanku, Hard Rock!). If youre lookin for a getaway for a weekend or even more, I suggest it fully. Plenty to do. There's even new pools(which are BEAUTIFUL). ITs also not too far from The beach if youre comin from outta town...but trust me there's plenty to do here at the Hotel!! A++++

This review should not reflect the hotel due to the fact that I only experienced the casino. Was a solid experience. Kept trying to find the smoke free casino part and the signs felt like I was being lead in circles. Finally saw when was leaving.

I loved the shower in the new side of the hotel, it was a nice mist and was very relaxing. The bath in the older side of the hotel was huge so I could actually fit in it unlike at my house. The beds were comfortable. The tv on the new side was huge. The tv kn the old side was not so big but still was nice. In every room you get a robe, which was nice after the pool. They have 3 pools. 18+ pool. VIP member pool and a family pool. Some old drink guys were in the family pool but the hotel cant really control that. I about loved room service from the rise cafe it was amazing, 100% would recommend. The staff were really nice and welcoming. Overall great hotel

Everyone had on masked and every other machine was off for the 6 ft of distancing...i felt comfortable

I visited for my birthday night and was very pleased with the additions this location made. The Hard Rock celebrity memorabilia was an added touch to the great time spent here.

Three different times they where so rude to us . we are smokers yes we have to put our mask down to smoke . you do not have to be rude or disrespectful we understand the virus and do you think we want it NO ...no reason to be rude or disrespectful . i would give you a 0 if i could

Best Casino on west coast Florida, maybe in the whole freekin country. Just make sure you bring enough of a bankroll , eventually you will win , but you might lose first? Just make sure you keep Rollin eventually you'll hit something!

Huge Casino with countless slots and table games. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Parking was a challenge due to enormous crowd. Take photo of where you park and the name of the parking lot because you will get lost like me. Upscale and absolutely fabulous! Can't wait to return. This place has everything!

Went to gamble for fun and had a good time. Couldn't believe how many machines they have. This place is huge. They even have a no smoking section that I liked. Walked away with more than I spent, was happily surprised. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend this place for entertainment

Best deli kitchen serving delicious sandwiches, meals, and quick bites to eat. We enjoyed the Pastrami sandwich plate.

Had a wonderful Fourth of July we really enjoyed it got home at 1:30 am seven and a half hours of fun

Hard Rock is a good night out go enjoy the nicest casino in Central Florida area just don't take your whole bank account with you pay your rent and essentials first and use your movie money and you should be fine practice safe gambling and enjoy hardrock tampa rock on people

1).Taken my family overnight for 12 trips... Have yet to EVER win anything worth talking about. Possibly the tightest machines I've ever played, and I've played almost every major gambling town in America...
2). I've never paid $300.00 for a room at ANY casino...
3). Three stars because of all the original R&R memorabilia. Museum worthy for sure

Love the hard rock. Very nice. Stayed there couple of times. Service good rooms are very nice and clean. Housekeeping is wonderful.

Great up beat location. Food is good, drinks are amazing. Milkshakes are also very good, as that have an amazing alcohol and milkshake selection. Absolutely make reservations, as this place truly works that way. Bar is also open seating, but try your luck if thats what you choose. Only complaint is that the prices are a bit high for the quality of the meals. Had the filet mignon and I can honestly say it was not worth the price. Steak had an odd smell, but tasted good. Mash potatoes were average and the strings beans were absolutely bagged flavor if you know what I mean. Overall this place is good, fun and a spot to try.

We had fun at the casino. I didn't win, but at least you got to win a little money so you could play for a while. Plus I love that they have smoke free areas. Very clean casino.

Paid $200 for a room that was below average. My daughter had to hold the button so the shower would work. The phone didn't work in the room so we couldn't even call to tell the front desk. Sinks drained very poorly. Was told when I made reservations that I could check out at 3:00 p.m. when I got to the hotel I was told the latest checkout was noon. I wanted to stay there so we could gamble and enjoy the hotel without having to drive to a different location. At this point I wish we would gotten a better hotel for a cheaper price. Very disappointing.

The machines are very needy!! Not very giving...it is nice to win once in a while. This is the second time we walked away not very excited about our visit.. We won't be back for a while. And my husband was told to put his mask on while he was smoking...pretty rude sense you announcements said it was ok to take it off to smoke. We were kind of confused on how to smoke through a mask?? We don appreciate that kind of condescending attitude. Very unprofessional on your part. Made your employee seem kind of ignorant to tell my husband this.
