Anthony Newman is a great representative of Selman & Co. He was patient while allowing me to ramble through my concern about my status, and he was precise and considerate in explaining the solution. I would definitely recommend Selman to anyone, and it's because of Mr Newman. Good, caring customer service is priceless for a business, and Anthony is a star! Thank you!

As a 100% disabled vet paying the 25% of allowable out of pocket costs associated with ChampVA for my dependents care was a heavy burden. I found Selman & Co and signed up with them as a supplemental policy and the value is top notch. I never have a problem with them and when I need to call them the customer service is quick, knowledgeable, professional, and polite.

EDITED 2/17/21: I got a call back from Selman and my issue was resolved. It required reaching out to another company listed on the policy. Individuals at the other company got someone at Selman to call me back. Bumped up from 1 to 2 stars.

Selman & Company rapidly expedited all the payments. I was extremely appreciative of and highly impressed with Selman & Company's efficiency.

I have been trying to speak to someone about canceling my policy and have been put on hold for hours and still no service. Yesterday they put me on hold until they closed their office and then just cut the call, no help at all! So today I contacted an office person via a different number and asked her to NOT put me on hold and explained why and about the problems yesterday. She put me on hold and again NO answer, no help! Do not recommend this company.

Been with Selman and Company for many years as they provide the 25% coverage for what Tricare doesn't cover. In the years I have been with them, there has never been an issue in what they will or will not cover, the bills have always been paid. I have recommended them to numerous friends over the years. Very affordable.

Can't get anybody to answer phone or mail anything to you in timely manner. Had this 2nd insurance before and once in place works great but getting it set up is a nightmare. They need to hire more customer service reps

I phoned Selman Co customer service department starting on Monday 1/4/21 and as of today Thursday 1/7/21 have been placed on hold each day without ever speaking to a service representative.

Ive tried three different customer service phone numbers and even tried phoning the main office in hopes of speaking to a representative.

I can t believe a major insurance doesn t have a staff of representatives to answer phones and to assist customers .

Also, I have sent an email to members service dept in hopes of getting a response to my inquiry.

I m trying to be understanding but this lack of service is certainly unacceptable.

My parents had an accidental policy with Selman and Co. They both passed away due to covid. They continued to withdraw the premiums for over 9 months till probate was completed and I was able to close their account. I have spent countless hours on hold with the costumer service department. Most times after being on hold for over an hour, I was told I have reached the wrong department and transfer me to another hour on hold. I sold with one kind person who gave me her email and asked me to send her the court paperwork. I did then I recertification a bill, A BILL!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE CHOOSE TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I LOST TWO PARENTS AND THEY HAVE GIVEN ME NOTHING BUT GRIEF!!!!
