Still under renovation, but already beautiful. Great range of all types of books and other things.

One of my favorite places to read and buy books. I also often come to buy gifts or hobby (bullet journal) articles.

A lot of choice in books. You get stress of choice. But very successful.

This Rotterdam crowd-funded book store is a real gem for book lovers, stationery-addicts and perfect if you're looking for some unusual gifts. Now in the renovated ABN-Amro building, it's worth a visit!

It is being refurbished, when it is done probably five stars again. I liked that it includes an antiquariat floor.

Best bookstore in Rotterdam. Good variety of books and the environment is just spectacular. I missed being around books in a bookstore and library so going there by appointment was such a joy.

Remains one of the best book stores in the Netherlands! I actually only go there for board games and occasionally a comic book because I don't read so many normal books, if I do need a book then anyway at Donner's! The building where the store is located is being renovated and therefore the store looks different with every visit!

Extensive range, it takes some getting used to the design. Wonder if that still changes ...

It is a hidden gem in Rotterdam! My daughter was looking for game of throne gifts, we entered a Small shop but she didn t find what she was looking for. The gentle salesman told us about Donner & showed us the direction. Although I have been in Rotterdam several times, I never noticed it! I never knew it is a book store! The bookstore is huge with not only books, but with museums gifts! So if you missed buying it from the famous museums in Amsterdam , you can find it here! It has several floors & the staff were friendly. There also have all what students need for school & many many cool stuff . It is be a must to visit always whenever I visit Rotterdam .

Glad the Donner is back. Not as big as it used to be, but very nice shop! They also have many beautiful board games.

Probably the best bookstore in Rotterdam. Good selection of photography books as well as local and foreign magazines. There is also a nice small coffee corner.

I am glad that Donner is still among us, the current form is somewhat similar in terms of offer to what it once was at the previous location. Actually, I don't want to write anything negative about Donner at all, because I like to come there and regularly, I also regularly buy something. I don't. There is always something to be desired, but you cannot have and keep everything in stock. I get that.

Nice case! Many books and other things. The building is under renovation, but you will not notice much. Visiting the toilet costs 50 cents once (cash) and friendly staff.

Very large bookstore so there is something for everyone if you are not too picky, because in some departments there is not that much and you have to come more often to really find your way there.

How nice it is that Donner is back! The bookshop is very much in place in the former bank building.

A very large bookshop that unfortunately lacks the charm of the previous location. Common titles in stock, but unfortunately the store comes across as rather uncomfortable, partly due to the appearance and attitude of the staff.

Very messy and the staff are not very friendly or helpful.

My favorite book shop. It's pretty big, but the set up is good. 2 big levels and 1 smaller. Several counters to check out or ask for information. Nice service. I always succeed here and always end up buying more than I came for.

Many books, but also beautiful gifts, a restaurant, excellent coffee, lectures, interviews with writers, book presentations and regular live music.

This bookstore is one of the best in Rotterdam. Unfortunately nowadays spread over two floors due to a major renovation. Environment also on the shovel. Otherwise great!

Terrible staff who first send me from one service to the other, and then advise to go to the Bijenkorf for a product that should be ordered! Is that little extra effort so difficult? And it goes so well in the retail ....

Donner is a large and famous bookstore in Rotterdam. Definitely recommend it, perfect for wandering around for a couple of hours.

Quite an interesting book store with a huge collection of various kinds of books of course. But their stationary collection is also pretty cool. Great place to get gifts for your literary friends !

Slightly dated book cover. Offer is fairly good but the presentation is severely below par. It reminds one, Used matter. Also the smell that goes with it. Not really recommended as a modern bookstore should be.

A large selection of all sorts of books (fiction, science, philosophy, novels and more). If your looking for cook books this is the place to go. They have some games and comics as well.

Beautiful property. Quiet. You will be treated nicely. There is a piano available. You can read there.

Well Donner .... You are more or less dependent on it, because there are no other real book stores in the rest of the city / center. I just don't find the Donner staff friendly. They help you, but everything is said with that. This is how you indeed hunt customers for online stores.

I hope they are still busy with renovation because it was much better before. Everything looks as it is in a temporary state.

An absolutely great book shop on several floors selling mainly new books covering most genres in Dutch, English, Russian and other European languages. The shop also has a good second hand / antiquarian section, sells comic strip books and also music. A great place to visit too if you wish to purchase magazines, greetings cards and unusual Dutch themed gifts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to give this establishment a visit!

Donner is the largest book store in town and offers a wide selection of books, reading accesories, sheet music. There's also a cafeteria where proper coffee, tea and lunch can be gotten for a fair price.
