I was positively surprised to see how nice and big this place was on the inside. Lots of gift ideas too!

For every book lover, this is THE store you should go to when you are in Rotterdam. I am sweet here for hours! You can also enjoy something to drink and eat inside here. They also have fun gadgets comics, board games, journals etc. LOVE IT!

More than an extensive bookstore, with all kinds of other things for sale such as calendars, world maps, gadgets. The renovation should be finished by now, but it doesn't look very bad yet. For people with a physical disability it is more difficult to browse around, you cannot get everywhere

Now temporarily in the old ABN AMRO building. But everything you would like to have or see in writing can be found at Donner. In addition, you can also eat well.

There had not been a long time. What is striking is the pleasant design, the surprising range next to the books and the willingness and expertise of the employees.

Minus why it is not five stars: in the gifts department there is a substantial supply that I count up to future plastic soup. For example: Shi-take fridge magnets. We do not need that anyway?

So many books. Great selection for english books too. Cafe makes a great place to relax after a shopping spree.

Great place to buy gifts, with a huge selection of English and Dutch books for all genres. Currently undergoing renovations, so it's sure to look even better when it's done.

Bookstore Donner is a very large bookstore, located in the city center of Rotterdam. With a very extensive collection, expert staff and interesting book categories, Donner is the specialist par excellence to get your books there. The advantage is that they also have a restaurant with delicious drinks and snacks.

I forgot my debit card and had no cash. They helped searching the store, didn't find the card so they let me pay by invoice. Really nice of them, since I really wanted the things :)

Nice place to browse books at your leisure, do a cup of coffee and occasionally enjoy beautiful music

What shall I say? Books, books, board games, magazines, gadgets, puzzles .... Wonderful shop!

You can spend hours here so many books and magazines. And what a beautiful building.

Just point by point:
-Beautiful business in a prime location.
-Cosy atmosphere with piano and book reviews.
-Great Ramsj. Been coming here for years and especially top seller Leon is very customer friendly and accessible. Never fake.
-Large range, but (as far as I'm concerned) too many paperbacks (where are the special editions?) And at the same time expensive other stuff (writing tools, games). Such a beautiful case should also offer beautiful bound books.
-Restaurant is nice, a bit pricey. Friendly service.

The store is busy with a renovation .. The offer is fine, but everything was now a bit unclear due to the aforementioned renovation.

Bookstore taken over by enthusiasts. Now under construction, but just open in one of the striking buildings that survived the bombing. Rotterdam can be proud of this.

So this is a really nice shop. It's your typical bookstore, only better.
Lots of books, a lot of knowledge in one place. Tip: Follow interesting people through the store and see what they find interesting, then get exactly the same books.
