Pat Olson from Select Realty is absolutely fantastic! Not only is she a great realtor, but she's also a great person. We could not have asked for a better home-buying experience. My husband and I began our search for our first home in the Marquette area after accepting jobs at Northern Michigan University. We are a young couple with a baby on the way and we had no idea where to start the process of buying a home particularly in the current seller s market and while living 16 hours away in Baltimore, MD. We felt overwhelmed and undereducated about how to tackle the process that is, until we found Pat! Pat walked us through the entire home-buying process. She spent time really educating us and helping us make choices that were in the best interest of our family. We can t emphasize enough how much she helped find the best FIT for us. We felt as though she truly cared about us and our future. On top of that, she s friendly, kind, and very, very helpful. She gave us so many great recommendations about the area. Finally, she s efficient! She was always so quick to communicate, set up viewings, meet with us, and complete the entire process. Anyone looking to buy a house would be lucky to work with Pat from Select!

I have been renting from Select Realty for the past two year now. Both of the places I have lived in have been wonderful for me. The house was affordable, clean, quality care, and close to campus. When looking for places to rent the people at Select Realty were helpful and attentive in helping you find what you were looking for. The staff is friendly and they work to make sure your apartment/house is always safe. Overall I have never had a problem with Select Realty and would recommend it to anyone looking to find a place to rent.

SELECT HAD AN 80 ACRE PARCEL FOR SALE BY A LOCAL BANKER. I MADE AN OFFER FOR THE ASKING PRICE. HOWEVER, THE OWNER NEVER SIGNED THE CONTRACT FOR SALE AND ACCORDING TO SELECT, "REMOVED THE LISTING" AND DECIDED NOT TO SELL THE PARCEL. I SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY INSPECTING THE PARCEL AND DECIDING TO SUBMIT AN OFFER. CLEARLY, THIS REALTOR DID NOT HAVE A REAL SELLER OR CONTROL OF THE SELLER TO CLOSE A DEAL. MINE WAS A CASH OFFER FOR THE ASKING PRICE TO CLOSE IN 30 DAYS. SOMETHING VERY FISHY HERE. ATTORNEY AT LAW OFFEROR.

Buyer Beware! Betty does not have your best interest in mind! Think twice before dialing that number on her sign. I made an offer to buy a piece of property that is adjacent to my current house. I told her a specific number to offer the seller. She made the offer a few thousand dollars higher than I wanted. The buyer accepted the higher offer. I then have to meet in the middle of an offer I never wanted to make. Don't know if this was intentional or not. More on that later. I looked at this piece of property and simple camp last fall. All was good. I wanted to do a walk-through of the property to make sure it was still in the same condition. It was not. There were now major structural issues with the camp because they did not shovel the roof this past winter. The rafters had cracked. I asked her to go back to the seller to make a concession to fix this issue. She refused saying that it would, "negatively effect" her commission. She then became irate saying that she, "did not even have to let me in to see it in the first place". I ended up purchasing the property because it is next to mine an I did not want anyone else to purchase it. After the accepted offer was finally nailed down, all I got was text messages from her. She did not even have the professional courtesy to make a phone call. Come to find out, she was personal friends with the sell and she defiantly did not have my best interests in mind.

Missy (Melissa) with Select Realty was an amazing buyers agent for us in our recent home purchase. She is very professional and a clear communicator. Missy helped us for almost 6 months before finding the right place, and we appreciate her dedication and knowledge of the area and current market conditions. The thoroughness and her eye for detail with paperwork and closing documents helped us resolve something before closing that would have been a paperwork nightmare to handle after everything was done. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Beautiful grass (mowed) trails. A bit too wet to walk in a few stops, and it hasn't rained a whole lot. We had to turn around several times because it was too wet and muddy to pass thru. Really nice playground, will have to bring my grandson! Bring bug spray.

Andi was an amazing agent. She was responsive, informative, and professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the UP.

Lee and Carrie have done a great job showing us properties and keeping us well informed as buyers. Communication has been fantastic and they have spent a lot of time making sure we had all of the information and could make an informed decision. They have always had our best interest in mind and provided prompt answers to our many questions. Carrie happily took us for a second look at a property at the end of a busy day without hesitation. She has also helped us sell a property and we were very happy with her services. Our home sold quickly. I would highly recommend Select Realty as a buyer and a seller.

This company was showing a building I was renting an apartment in. They are completely unproffesional. We had realtors walking into our apartment, no knocking, no notice they were coming. On one case they unlocked the door and walked right in while i was home, not a single knock. We had been told on times only one person would be coming, and there would be up to 3 with them. The complete lack of communication we have experienced with this company is gross. When we tried to message the company they ignore our messages. I'm completely unimpressed and feel violated by the treatment of this reality company. No one should spend a WHOLE MONTH parinoid about people walking into their house no notice at anytime of day. Even as renters we have a right to the peaceful occupancy of the residence for the time of our lease/while we are paying rent. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you/ your tenants want to feel completely disrespected and violated.
