Had so munch fun learning s dance from play Chicago with my Sister n law Gina!
Watched a ballet called "Of love or rage" and it was absolutely excellent. Nice atmosphere and beautiful building! They even offer drinks!
Had not been there before. It is now on my list of "Places to go". I will keep an eye on what is happening there.
Great place to see performances without having to fight the LA traffic.
Very nice, very impressive. Attended a musical at the theater, which was performed extremely well! Also very glad to see live music being used for the performance instead of recorded. As a musician, I appreciate that very much! Thank you!
The best floor we've ever danced on! Such a beautiful venue!
Top notch musical with fantastic singers with beautiful voices.
Amazing architecture....friendly staff....Bartender Chris was awesome!
Very nice theater facilities, but the seats are rather uncomfortable. Of course concessions are also very expensive. This place is in need of a remodel. But it's nice to have Broadway musicals coming to the local area without having to go to Los Angeles.
This a great entertaining place with easy access to freeways and wonderful restaurants.
We have attended several productions at SCFTA and thoroughly enjoy the venue. Unfortunately, at a recent event, my granddaughter's friend had a sudden medical emergency. The security team, medic, and management at SCFTA were well-trained, prepared, professional and considerate in assisting us. The SCFTA team's quick response was impressive and much appreciated. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you to those who assisted us.
The shows here are always really good quality. I love their musicals, and they are always amazing
Loved this place had a great event at this location .
The husband and I got a three dance series subscription and went to our first one of the three fast Saturday night. It's a beautiful location and we had very good seats. Lots of food options nearby and even within the Segerstrom Hall. Comfortable seating. Plenty of restrooms. Lots of stairs where our particular seats are so choose wisely when you choose your seat.
Beautiful place, but one star off for the bathroom situation. Every intermission and some other times there are lines out the door for the men's and women's restrooms with dozens of people waiting.
Wonderful selection of plays and shows travel here. Convenient attached parking garage features $10 event parking (cash only). Exiting at orchestra level on your way out leads to level 2 of the garage.
Not enough handicap parking. Need better elevator service.
Easy to get to.Beautiful setting,Nice,friendly staff,great experience
We saw Phantom of the Opera and we loved every second of it, our seats were great no tall people blocking us;) the ushers were all polite and helpful, the one and only thing I wish was a tiny bit different as I felt in some of the numbers the orchestra was louder than the cast members singing, sometimes the singing was a tiny bit drowned out, but I'll still give it a five-star:)))loved it
Absolute top-drawer performances! The facilities are gorgeous. And they even have monkey 47 gin available at the bar. The free jazz series on Friday nights is an extra bonus.
Saw Diane Krall. Beautiful smaller venue, more personal...loved it!!
An upscale hall with vast sitting . Beautiful building and surrounding areas.
One of the loveliest places to experience in the area. Hearing live performances here... well, there is no comparison, and it will never grow old. The Pacific Symphony, the youth Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra, Santiago Strings, and the many excellent soloists I've been delighted to see and hear at this beautiful place take my breath away or holds me spellbound. From the marvelous acoustics to the professionalism of the performers, I'm left in awe!
We saw the new production of Fiddler on The Roof and I thought it was pretty good but I thought that the mother was way too aggressive. The costumes were great and the singing was fantastic. Love going to Segerstrom Center for The Arts.
Amazing production of Gisele. 3 different applause sets. Guest star Misty Copeland. Always a pleasant experience at OCPAC. Been there many times.
The concert hall is truly amazing a great place to see a opera!!
The centet feels a little old, but still convienent to go and see a show. I highly recommend grabbing a bite across the way at South Coast Plaza and then walking across the bridge to the Center
This is a large arts center, easy to get to and spacious. The seats are comfortable and the rest rooms are clean. There is a wide variety of offerings available at this venue.
Saw the Book of Mormon, it was hilarious. Brought my dog in the theater with us and he just sat on my lap the whole time!
Great parking location and price easy access great tickets great show got to see Yanni
Very nice venue. Good views, great sound, and cocktails too boot.
It doesn't get much better in the OC than at the Performing Arts Center...
Great ballet performance. My sister and I really enjoy it.
I'm a Season ticket holder and loved Come From Away!
Loved the play
But the sits were way to high up
Our "go to place" for high quality plays. This time, Fiddler on the Roof. Super!
Don't valet here unless you want some hot laps with your new car by the valet.
We really enjoyed the evening with KennyG. He was fantastic! Our only disappointment was after his show, it was cash only for his CD's. We would have loved to buy a few. We have Season Tickets to the Pops and rarely are we disappointed! Another highlight to Kenny's show was he gave away a signed saxaphone. A 12 yr. old boy that plays a sax, won! He will never forget that night, I'm sure! What a great way for this young man to believe he can become another great player!
Saw Cats with my mother, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great amphitheater style
Great theater with amazing kids programs. We have been taking our daughter there since she was 5. She is almost 7 now and we have done a few full length productions as well. I just ordered season tickets to both 2016-2017 family series. Great shows, great theater, great kids programs and good prices, what more can you ask for?
Amazing Theater Hall!! Went to see Love Never Dies... Amazing production! One the best halls I've been to!
Great venue for top notch musicals and other shows.
Enjoyed Cats for the first time. It was phenomenal; songs and dancing were excellent.
Recently saw Aladdin here. Very nice venue, not a bad seat in the house. Very easy to get in and out of as well. Will certainly be coming back!
what a mess during intermission ... restrooms overcrowded, line at the bar. performance was ok but the experience spoiled by poor organization
Wonderful performing arts center with top notch shows, easy parking and very friendly ushers.
Performed there earlier this month. Great center with over 3,000 seats.
It's a very nice concert hall. I like the smaller one (Renee&Henry Segestrom Hall?) better.
Will be volunteering @ the SEGERSTROM; interesting "backstage~right"
I saw Bizet's Carmen opera. Beautiful location, easy parking, friendly staff, stage is a bit small, but the seats are very comfortable.
I've never had a bad seat here. Such a great place to enjoy the arts.
Loved my experience here watching Anastasia, the musical!
My mom isn t a huge fan of spending money so I knew that when the show was finally in town, I was going to buy her front seat mezzanine seats as soon as possible. On the first day of ticket sales, so many seats were already taken! We got lucky and snagged seats in the Loge section, seats 3 and 4.
We are originally from LA so we were used to the seating at Pantages. I had to do a bit of research to fully understand the four sections of Segerstrom and ultimately ended up enjoying Loge due to the fact that we had front row seats. On my next show, I plan to stay at the orchestra terrace just because it has a more intimate feel but is a little further off center.
The concessions here aren t terribly expensive if you consider the cost of concessions at movie theaters and other areas (albeit they re much smaller portions.) It can also be a bit chilly if you re here for a couple hours so make sure you have a light sweater to keep you warm. There s also always the good ol walk up and down the entire staircase during intermission!
I didn t get a chance to park here since my boyfriend just dropped us off but I am told you can park at South Coast Plaza across the street so long as you re aware that it is far away to begin with. Other than that, I had an enjoyable experience here and plan to return fairly soon!
I love the blue man group it was cool and the architecture
Saw Waitress. Good performance, but not outstanding. Sets were disappointing
Beautiful place. The shows are great.
Just wish there was a dress code for evening programs. I was next to someone in sweats, tennis shoes and smelled as if they just come from the gym. I know it's 2018, but come on really?! Let's dress a little nicer for something like this.
Always a great venue full of interesting and outstanding performances and musical events and is surrounded by lots of excellent restaurants
Smaller than Pantages in Hollywood but, still a great place to experience a live show
