The acoustics are very bad with mics for vocals. The vocals on videos are often loud but unclear. For acoustic instruments it's OK. The lobby entrance had better acoustics. Beautiful facilities. Parking a bit far if you had to use a walker . Docents very helpful.

Need to have better handicap accessable seating. There's no way that a handicap person can get to their seat with people seated already blocking their path to their seat. The majority of your audience is mature for ballet or other plays, it's not a Justine Bieber concert. Your seating also really sucked. The left part of the stage where we were sitting could not be viewed. Last time I come here.

Much Adu About Nothing, Seen one seen them all. Over rated events and pricing. Attended a Yanni Concert event and what a waste that was. He wasn't even close to his PBS performance of the 80s. Just a smiling ham talks do much during the concert need to change his name from Yanni to Yappi.

Was a bit worried that they wouldnt have seats that would fit me. Yes, I am a big guy. As I am losing this weight, I still need a big seat. At the last minute, the lady at the box office assigned me a seat in the way back with a seat called "wide back seat". Nice.. it was comfy throughout the concert. I saw Engelbert Humperdinck here. Security here is not that extensive. I should be worried... but Irvine is a nice and safe place. But still, think about upping the security. I would feel a lot safer. If u had better security, I would rate this a 5-star. The a/c in the theater was top-notch. I notice that the wide-back seat were accommodated by people who weren't big as me. They were skinny people there, but just wanted the free space amongst themselves. But I do like the option for the wide-back seating. Definitely will come back here for some more events.

Horrible experience. Not once, but twice. I'll never go there again. My husband and I are handicapped, me right now with a broken ankle and him with congestive heart failure. The parking attendants would not let us park anywhere, but in the parking structure and there were no handicapped spaces left. You have to walk a long ways to get to the theater. It would have been closer to park for free at So. Coast Plaza and walk. The parking attendants were rude, the docents not understanding, and the Theater itself, not handicap friendly. There are elevators to get to the proper level, but to get to our seats, we had to go down a flight of stairs and then up a flight to our seats. I was so upset by the time we got to our seats, I couldn't fully enjoy the show. Leaving was terrible, too. We had to wait two or three times for the elevators, both in the building and at the parking garage. I was in so much pain, I was crying. I really don't know how they get away with it. There are laws about accessibility for disabled persons, and Segerstrom breaks all of them.

The opera was amazing... Security or personnel did NOTHING about the lady sitting next to me that thought she could sing along. After asking her twice to please not. I asked the personnel to resolve. THEY DID NOTHING.

We purchased 4 tickets to a concert scheduled for July 2020 in the amount of $824.00, and it was of course canceled because of COVID-19. Apparently the concert will be rescheduled for next summer 2021, with no date given. I have made countless attempts through emails and phone calls to have my money refunded. No one answers the phone or emails. What terrible customer service!! I expected so much more from Segerstrom, we have been patrons for many years but will not be returning. They have my money!! Shameful

My family have been season ticket holders for 20 years. If you are coming to a performance, please keep the following things in mind 1. Please don't come if you are coughing or sick, exchange or give away your tickets, 2. Sit still, don't talk to your friend during the performance, everyone behind you will need to move to compensate to see. 3. Be mindful of hats and big hairdos, it keeps people from behind you from being able to see. 4. Don't kick the seat in front of you or allow your children to, yes they can feel it. 5. The actors, dancers and singers have given of their time to put on the performance for you, stay the extra minute or two to applaud and show your respect for them and their craft. Thank you for being polite and enjoy the show.

We come here a couple times a year. Parking is easy. Lots of eating options close by. There s even a pedestrian bridge leading to South Coast Plaza where you can park and eat. In the theater, we usually sit on the balcony which still has a good view. So many good shows come through here and we have enjoyed every one we have seen. My kids enjoy it too!

We went here to see Shin Yun. They don't open the doors for you to sit in your seat until fifteen minutes before the show starts. Multi-level and small venue; parking fee; bathrooms; snacks and water on bottom level. Plenty of parking across the street, or next door.

Saw a ballet here and the theater was nice. It s pretty big and I think serves a nice purpose for people who don t want to go into LA. Parking was convenient, although a little pricey. One of the ushers we dealt with was a little rude to us when trying to ask about the handicap accessible seating; which is why I give it 4 stars. I would come back again if there was a show I was interested in.

I'm so happy to be able to go see Broadway level plays close to my house! Thank heaven for Segerstrom Hall! I saw Hamilton last week.... it was fantastic! The setting was wonderful! The people are nice. All in all an excellent experience! Plus parking is $10. (You can't complain about that. So many of these places now are charging $20.)

This venue is spectacular for any purpose, and truly outshines any other performance space in southern CA. The Ballet programs hosted are always incredible and the staff are very helpful and nice.

I really can't think of anything 'wrong' with this facility and its intended purpose. They book great shows, getting in and out is fairly low hassle, everything is clean and well maintained... Yep. That earns a 5. Go just to walk around and check out the little cafe/bar.
