Great option for something very reliable and thoughtful.

The Asian fish sandwich with a side of salt roasted beet salad was simply phenomenal!

A great place to go for a birthday party or a girls night. A good place to get dressed up and i our for a good meal. The food is very tasty and high quality.

Seed is, in a word, awesome. This is what East Cobb has been waiting for.

The food is inspired, fantastic, the service is excellent. The bar is on par with the kitchen, good drinks prepared with a skilled hand.

Why would you go anywhere else? Why? Why?

Like the other reviewers wrote, you're not getting into Seed on a weekend without a reservation -- the word is out, people who like quality food prepared with great care "Eat at Seed."

This place is beautiful from the walk in and the outside seating. The food is up notch and wonderful, my personal favorite is the chicken snitzel.

Very nice ambiance with great food. It's like a nice new American and Spanish vibe and menu.

Could be the best restaurant in East Cobb. The chicken schnitzel is always a crowd pleaser. Don't forget to try the jalapeno grit fritters.

My wife and I had lunch there for the first time today and had an excellent meal, start to finish. We started with the White Corn Grit Fritters (YUM) and a glass of white wine. For our meal, I got the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich (spicy and savory) and the seasonal Butternut Squash Soup. My wife got the braised short rib sandwich (delicious also) with the same soup, and a season salad that was great too. For desert, we couldn't decide between the Lemon Mascarpone Cheesecake and the Chocolate peanut Butter parfait, so we got both, lol, and both we're SO good. If we had to pick one, I'd say go with the Cheesecake. We'll definitely be back!

With three different wine palates in our group, we asked the waiter for a red recommendation. He made an absolutely on point suggestion, and all three of us were so happy that we ordered a second bottle.

Absolutely wonderful!! Allen served us, which made it even better. We eat out a lot ..all over the place. We each had something different, and it all was very good!! We will be back.

I've been going here since shortly after they opened. I've never had a meal that was less than stellar. The service is wonderful and attentive. Upon first walking in you think it'll be difficult to hear your dinner companions, but the acoustics let the place feel energetic while still allowing for private conversation. Nice wine list and truly delicious food.

Trendy place with nice decor and ambience. Thoughtful menu: scallop with risotto was really good! Food portion was small but definitely yummy. Definitely recommend for date night and fine dinning.

Different menu, interesting choices. Very helpful with food allergy. A bit on the costly side, but well worth it.

This place appears to be an establishment for stereotypical East Cobb Snobs. I came in casually dressed on a Sunday after a movie; I wanted dessert. The hostess was curt with me, then asked me for my full name, first and last, when I was the only one waiting for a table. I felt like asking her, Do you want my driver s license to run a background check to see if I am someone with the appropriate income level to visit your restaurant? When I questioned her as to why she wanted my name, she waved me off and rolled her eyes. Once I was seated, an employee came by and filled my water glass and said someone would be with me in a minute in a manner which suggested the end of his sentence should have been, If anyone can be bothered. He avoided eye contact and there was nothing welcoming in his tone. You know, I am not rich, but I make enough to treat myself to a nice dessert and to even tip someone who provides good service. I also have enough sense to walk out when I know I am being dismissed as a poor single woman and not as much of a money-maker as a large group of affluenza-sufferers. I left and went across to Marlow s Tavern, where the wait staff is always welcoming and polite. My guess is that the food will probably be better as well.

For years I ve been enjoying Seed with its impeccable wine list and oysters shucked to perfection second only to Kimball house, in my opinion. Yet, last time was a huge disappointment. The oysters were not cup off their shells and I had to poke at them with a fork like Neanderthal. The worst part that I had to constantly remove shells from my mouth. No broken teeth, fortunately. The waitresses reaction to my comments was, Oh, well...

A special evening with friends. Everyone enjoyed the sharable main courses and drinks. Kind of pricey but very good.

(same water)that everyone's eating off those same plates, bowls, cooking others stuff etc. with that contamination on it?.. putting the cutting board back on tha rack too be used again.???? Hmm. NOTE!! bleach is the one only a few cleaning products that kills the contaminatence of poultry and fish, and there a few types. not windex or any thing else. It ses online 140degreas will kill food borne contaminatence. But I wouldn't test myself with items being ran through the dishwasher to have yours or anyone life be compromised.
not joking!! seen it with my own eyes and I told that same guy working,he didn't care.Management don't care how clean it is here ladies and gentlemen.

my mother got some type of contamination from chicken called (Campylobacter jejuni). in her cut on one of her hands while working with chicken or poultry at a local grocery store back home. This contamination put her in the hospital!!!! For a good number of days at least. Don't underestimate it can happen to anyone by eating and a few other ways

Great place. The food was delicious, I had the Crab cakes Benedict. The server was timely and very warm and friendly. I had a good time and I highly recommend Seeds.

It was ok. Beautiful place. Went out for our anniversary. Steak was not cooked properly and had to return it. Then it came back almost burnt.. was a bit disappointed. The waiter was fantastic though!!!

Great meal from the Cobb Restaurant Week menu. Oyster sliders, crusted trout, delicious cake with fresh berries. Another wonderful visit!

Food, wine and cocktails are all amazing. The location can be a bear for parking sometimes only because it is in such a busy shopping center.

First, I should be fair - it's 1 of my son's & his family's favorite places. We go there when he invites us to lunch. I find the menu limited for my taste, but I do like whatever I order. The service has been consistently good. I think my taste (when we go out) is a bit more basic (e.g, Asian, Mexican, steak, breakfast, we like Marlow's). I'll also say, Seed's fries are the best.

Oh, man! Order the pork chop. Excellent. A great place with a modern feel and great service.

My friend took me here for brunch for my birthday and it was really good! I definitely recommend starting with the calamari and the lemon cheesecake with blueberries is amazing! Our server Ian was perfect. He was attentive and super friendly. He was one of the best parts!

We love dining at Seed. The deviled eggs and mine chicken tacos are to die for!

I am so sad to leave this poor review because this used to be our favorite "special occasion" restaurant. We hadn't been to Seed in so long due to COVID, we decided to treat ourselves to some semblance of normalcy and ordered curbside pickup. So disappointing. We ordered online, so you'd think there would be no margin for error. But still, ended up coming home with the wrong dish. My husband ordered a side salad which was literally a bowl of lettuce--no tomatoes, cheese, croutons, nothing. I ordered fish, which is my favorite dish to order there. Granted, ordering fish to-go is dicey. But I trusted that if they put it as available on their to-go menu, it would be prepared to withstand a ten minute car ride. Incorrect. The fish was so overcooked and dry it was inedible. Basically a piece of rubber. We ordered the shrimp appetizer but ended up not touching it as the shrimp clearly had not been cleaned properly and tasted like dirt. The dish we got, but did not order, was some crostini pimento cheese something, but tasted so off we also abandoned it.
All in all, we spent $90 on garbage food, some of which we didn't even actually order.
I will definitely go back after the pandemic, because I really don't mean to judge it by this one experience, but I hope this review is a warning to others not to order to-go! It was an experiment and I'm here to tell you it was an expensive failure! This place is definitely best in-person.

I have been going to seed ever since I have moved to the Atlanta area, a little over three years now, for almost any occasion for a great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and any occasion (Personal or Business). It is on the finer dinning side of establishments and always has a fantastic menu. The staff is always friendly, ready to help, serve, and accommodate in anyway. Seed is a must if you are visiting the area and would like a great dinning experience, specialty cocktails with fantastic mixologists, and a wonderful meal prepared by their kitchen.

I have never had bad experience and recommend seed to all!

Every aspect of the dining experience at Seed was exemplary. From app to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish and the service was impeccable (thank you, Javier!). Both of us highly recommend Seed.

Great food, great atmosphere, & great wine selection. Can never go wrong with Seed. They don't have any fried foods on their menu so that makes for healthier eating. Try their merchant burger.

I experienced this restaurant for the first time tonight for a work function. The food and the service was absolutely superb.

Great food, excellent service. Plus, recommended by an actual chef who worked there. So you know the food is good! Everything we ordered was really good. Deviled eggs, spicy shrimp, Georgia peach salad, hanger steak, kids menu; especially liked the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower side.

Our favorite metro-Atlanta restaurant! Seed has never disappointed us. Amazing food, great wine, superb staff. You can't beat the dine-in experience there, but we have also ordered curbside several times and enjoyed a taste of Seed from the comfort of our home. Highly recommend the chicken schnitzel!

DELICIOUS !!!!! I enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. Me and my husband had their bruch and it was fabulous. Our server was very helpful with food suggestions. The small details makes the difference and one of the details that I appreciated was a magnetic purse holder for my handbag Overall I would recommend Seed to everyone looking for great food, atmosphere, and service.

Great ambience... very accommodating staff. Liquor/wine prices are high Food average in quality and taste. Somewhat pricey. Example: Mahi-mahi dish $30.00 Cocktails $10.95 Wine: $12-$15 glass. Normal pour.

Beware vegans! I used to love this restaurant until I found out some of the things on the menu that I thought would be vegan had animal products in them like the black eyed pea hummus. Nice looking restaurant. Nice place to grab a drink and they offer nice hot teas if you don't drink.

We were here tonight to celebrate our anniversary. Throughout the entire time the people we interacted with were super friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere! A pleasant surprise is our names are even printed on the menu! And yeah I kept it :).

Dishes were delicious. We ordered butter squash soup, beets salad, pork sliders, scallops and pork tenderloin. And my hubby was pleased that he got macallan 12.

The dining was wrapped up with a cake on the house.

The only thing is our reserved booth seemed to be in bar area. So our server had to constantly between the bar and the dining area. We felt she could use some hand in either place because there were some moments when we needed attention but had to wait for some time before each bar guest was attended.

Nonetheless Seed is now on my fav list and I will definitely come back more

Terrific restaurant OTP. Nice atmosphere, the food was great and their service operates at a high level. Collin was our server and he was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the soup of the day, a potato leak soup that was incredible.

This was my 2nd time at Seed, and it never fails to impress. Our server, Candace, did an amazing job describing the dishes in detail, and helping us choose a dish. She was spot on, and we could not have been happier with the selections - Vegetable plate, and Sweet Potato Ravioli. We will gladly be back.

Great service and is a high end family friendly restaurant. It s pricey but worth it! Food drinks and everything is on point. The Bathroom is freezing that s the only bad said.

I came here for a a bridal shower. The place is so nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. The food was amazing. I ate the pimento tostada and the chicken salad. Can t wait to come here again and try more on the menu.

Posh restaurant without the taste. Ordered the Ribeye and my wife ordered the Salmon. Now from time to time you will see cooking shows where the host will take a beautiful cut of meat and season it with only salt and black pepper. They will insist that black pepper and salt is all you need with a good cut of meat.

A good steak need a bit more and a great steak should burst with flavor. This $39 steak had none of it. It was dull AND burnt. Idk how I get a burnt medium steak. But when I say burnt, I don't mean seared. I meant the edges tasted like ash.

My wife had the bland salmon which she barely finished and tried to forget as soon as she could.

We ended up paid $120 and picking up fast food on the way home.

However, the decor was modern and urban and the wait staff was excellent.

Excellent food. Our table of four ordered the chicken schnitzel, salad, spinach, tomato soup, smoked pork chop, shrimp and grits, and scallops. All were good and well prepared. The only negative (if I must) was that it very loud inside, but not bad enough that we couldn't carry a conversion.

Go to the bar, sit down, drink/eat whatever Jake puts in front of you, and you will have a great time!!! His recommendations are spot on!!! I will definitely be back.
