Great atmosphere and an excellent goat cheese and Arugula salad!
Amazing food and wonderful staff, I love to eat at Seed!
Great place to take clients for lunch .. love the food, always, and my experiences with the staff and service have always been positive.
Editing my review for covid!
Every year we try to go here for our anniversary - we love this place so much. This year they opened up for curbside just a few weeks before our anniversary, which was great timing! We ordered food we hadn't had - the fish of the day and chicken schnitzel - and since they don't have the taco appetizers, tried the pimento crustini. It was sooooo good. I was super appreciative to get to keep our custom, and that the food was just as good as ever. I highly recommend as usual! Posting more photos than usual as a thank you to the staff!!!!!
When they are back to having a dining room, definitely try those tacos and their cocktails though. SO GOOD!
Marvelous experience, I have been looking for a good spot that offers high quality brunches with reasonable prices for a long time. They have really knocked it out of the park. Perfectly composed dishes with fresh ingredients bring excitement and joy to every bit. Let's not forget about their cocktails! I have ordered a bloody mary and I was extremely satisfied. Definitely recommended!!!
The food is delicious! The environment is nice and informal.
Always incredible food and you can't beat this staff of wonderful people.
Worse potato soup I have ever had anywhere!! I think they should call it potato less soup!! I seriously think they left out the potatoes. It was very watery. extra thin consistency, dishwater color, seasoned with an over powering of pepper. Just horrible!! So disappointing!!
Seed has some of the best food we have EVER eaten! Their combination of flavors is amazing and it is truly a grande dining experience. Love, love, love this place!!
Eating here was like a pleasant surprise. If I could compare it to anything it would be like being really hungry at McDonald's and the employee asks you if you'd like to supersize your order without even asking. Coming here really made my day!
With Seed in the neighborhood there is no reason to leave East Cobb anymore. Seed ranks up with the best restaurants in Atlanta. The food is always incredible and the service is great!
For an extra touch, they even had customized menues for my birthday dinner.
We like the atmosphere on the deck. If you eat inside you may want to bring a sweater, as it tends to be chilly.
The only thing that would add to Seed would to have live music on the deck.
First off it's beautiful. I know people have this idea of what a restaurant in a shopping center looks like which isn't good. I've been to a few that were nice and Seed is the nicest looking one. The service is A1! On top of that the food is delicious. This was our first time there. We had dinner: grit corn fritters, sweet potato ravioli, fries and cheeseburger, salmon with butternut squash risotto, salmon with brussel sprouts & cauliflower, a side of the brussel sprouts & cauliflower and collards. Dessert - tres leche cake, chocolate filled chocolate chip cookie w/a scoop of ice cream and lemon mascarpone cheesecake. I don't have all the exact names but I know it was ALL delicious. I'll definitely go back to try brunch. It's worth it.
The service and food great as always. Never had a bad meal here!
Awesome find in East Cobb! Great bar with fantastic restaurant-the food is AMAZING!!! Tres Leche is best I ve EVER tasted! Goat cheese balls are delicious!!
Delicious food & excellent waitstaff! We had a wonderful dinner and will be coming back.
The food and service was great! Wish they had more vegetarian options but glad they were willing to do substitutions. Definitely try the white corn grit fritters!
It's a great spot for brunch. You can't go wrong with a stop here for weekend brunch. We devoured the brisket hash & the White Corn Grit Fritters . We also had an unpictured breakfast omelette that came with this amazingly fluffy biscuit. Just ask for an extra biscuit if you're a lover of biscuits. You won't regret dining at this spot & I can't wait to come back & see what dinner is like.
An snazzy place with an eclectic menu and GIGANTIC portions. A go-to spot for Sunday brunch after church
Highend dinning with good food and great service, but a little noisy for conversation at our table.
Seed Kitchen and Bar is a hidden gem!!!! We had brunch and the food was outstanding. Great service/ Great atmosphere/ Great food. I couldn t ask for anything more!!!
Some of the best food I've had in quite some time. I ordered the filet and the French fries and, while a simple meal, they were the best cooked steak and fries I've had in years. Highly recommend this place for a great meal or date night.
We've eaten at Seed many times, but tonight we picked up a family meal using curbside service.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better meal for the cost. Everything was hour and fresh and packaged carefully, the bag was sealed to show they has double checked and to prevent excessive handling.
We had salmon with field peas, corn soup, cookies and an additional side of their Brussels sprouts and cauliflower.
Highly recommend taking out from Seed while socially distancing!
Went in last night and had a near perfect experience. From the wine selection to the salads to the scallops and steak. This was definitely one of the best meals my wife and I have ever eaten (and we are foodies). The addition of the risotto to the scallops was beautiful and so complimentary. And Colin helped us get the right bottle of wine (Schafer cab) that was amazingly delicious. Thanks much to Colin and David for another memorable night!
The menu looked very promising with unique dishes. Both dishes we got were supposed to be their best and they were horrible. At the price of $25 per dish, they should have been amazing. Very disappointing. Service was great and pleasant atmosphere.
We always have a wonderful experience when we dine here! The food and service is always top notch. Love the seasonal changes in the menu. We come here often and the reason is we know we are going to have an enjoyable experience. Love coming here.
I cannot share enough praise for this restaurant group! I ve been dining here for years and have been consistently served with respect and most of all HOSPITALITY. As a member of the service industry for nearly 20 years, I can say for certain these folks know how to serve their community. Their cuisine and beverage programs never cease to please. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable while anticipating the needs of their guests.
Cheers!
My favorite place! Really excellent little neighborhood spot. Unique hand-crafted cocktails, fresh, locally sourced menu, friendly and professional staff, and consistently delicious food. Try the schnitzel!
The food and service is great. I highly recommend this place.
It's a truly beautiful and modern space serving delicious food and tasty cocktails. The only (slightly) bad thing I might say is that it's a little expensive, $$-$$$.
Wanted to love this place after reading such rave reviews. Nice wait staff, lovely looking restaurant, but the food was very lacking. The cod was over cooked and overly fishy. The squash soup was horrible and looked like a can of pumpkin More
I came in here last night with a buddy of mine for the first time, the ambiance was very bright and calming, music was nice slow pace allowing for conversation. I order some late night food, prep work for decorative, and the food came out in an expected manner. I enjoyed myself very much and I'll bring my wife and kids back next time around.
Upscale and social distancing done very well. Thanks!
Awesome experience, great food and friendly server (Carmen) with enthusiastic personality.
Exceptional take on American cuisine. Great bar options as well. Outstanding app and entree options!
Fantastic food and drinks. Not cheap, but worth it.
Very good flavors & significantly less expensive for lunch with slightly smaller portions.
In response form the owners comment:
I didn't love the brussel sprouts. I wish they were more seasoned.
My porkchop was cooked to perfection, but didn't love the sauce.
My wife enjoyed the Cod.
Apple Bread Pudding was good, but apples could be cooked a little more.
Seed is about as close to ITP-dining as you can expect to find in this neck of the woods. Nice ambience, FANTASTIC service, & a menu with something for everyone. That said, some of the items are overpriced for what they are, most notably, the award-winning grit fritters. $13 for 4 ping-pong sized GRIT fritters. The sauce overpowers the dish & the ingredients & the taste doesn t justify the price no matter the award. Skip it. The chicken tacos are another dish, while tasty, are overpriced for 3 bite sized tacos. Had there been 4, easily split between 2 people, I probably would forgive the price point. The roasted beet salad was delicious & a surprising highlight of the meal. Deviled eggs reminded me of an everything bagel & lox , it was a nice twist. Shrimp sambal was tasty but not memorable. Good but not memorable pretty much sums up my experience with Seed. Had this been an ITP restaurant, I probably wouldn t frequent it. Because the selection of non-franchise restaurants is pretty miserable in East Cobb, Seed remains a solid dining option when we want to stay close to home.
Love the seasonal menu here! If you get a chance to eat the scallops and Rissota don't miss it! Overall, expect good service and flavorful food, no chain menu and an interesting artsy decor
Celebrated 2 birthdays today. Service and food were excellent. And happily, we could carry on conversations with everyone at the table! Sorry I forgot waiter's name, but he was great.
It was my first time dining here and everything was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits. Very tasty!!!
Great food and exceptional, attentive service. A must try!
Professional staff and good food with excellent wine
This place has a variety of hand crafted dishes with an excellent drink selection. I highly recommend to take out of town guests here for good food and drinks at a reasonable price
At 61, probably the most outstanding restaurant experience I ve ever had. Food and service are incredible. Our server, Rado, made the meals and wine pairings a wonderful thing.
Excellent food. Our table of four ordered the chicken schnitzel, salad, spinach, tomato soup, smoked pork chop, shrimp and grits, and scallops. All were good and well prepared.
Always the most amazing food! And double tres leches cake for our double birthday!
Lovely and charismatic atmosphere, highly professional wait staff, OUTSTANDING food. This is a high end establishment, so expect to spend more than you would at your local tavern, but every penny is worth it. Treat your self!
First time for brunch. Good combination of items from their normal lunch menus, plus omelets, brisket hash, among other brunch items. Excellent food, great service.
Amazing food and great service! Also the best drinks in Atlanta
Food, ambience, wait staff....all phenomenal!! It was our anniversary and everyone that brought something to our table wished us a Happy Anniversary. Service was outstanding. Alan was attentive, polite, and funny! Food was delicious and well-timed. Everything was delivered hot and fresh. A really great dining experience!!!
The service was great and it's a very beautiful restaurant, but the food was meh. We went during lunch and had the calamari, cornbread, Korean fried chicken sandwich, and spicy fish sandwich, and fries. We both felt like their food overall didn't have much flavor or seasoning to it. I think their restaurant is for people who don't want much seasonings in their food. Idk, maybe we tried the wrong dishes??? Who knows, but I don't think we'll go back to try anything else.
Overall experience was very good. Not quite 5 star though.
We had to send back everything, I would not recommend!

One of our favorite spots to eat when we're in town. Lunch can be hit or miss but dinner is usually spot on.
Perfect cocktails with organic syrups and a creative touch. My favorite place for lunch.
Seed always has excellent service. The wait staff will take great care of you and the Chicken Schnitzel is excellent as is the hanger steak.
Highly recommend taking a look at their specials if you go there.
The food was fine. The service was fine. I thought it was over rated. Try stem, next door though!
Good service, poor quality of food. A star for the service and a star for the floor plan.
Always a winner. From food to beverage options to service, this place is consistently excellent.
The wait staff was amazing, very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. From what I was told their menu is all locally sourced. I had the burger and absolutely loved it. I was sad to find out that the patio only permit service dogs. Regardless, I'll be back for sure!
The moment you walk through the door, the place reeks of seafood. Very over priced.
We went here for our Anniversary after talking about trying it for years - And it was worth the wait! Everything from our arrival and warm wishes for a Happy Anniversary to meeting our server who wished the same.
The Pork Belly sliders were AMAZING and made us wish we ordered them as a meal. The double-cut Pork Chop was gigantic and superbly cooked. The Chicken Schnitzel was a perfectly balanced dish. They brought a gorgeous plate of Lemon Marscarpone Cheesecake with "Happy Anniversary" written across it, and my husband was in love with the Cookie Skillet!
The interior is a cross between a study and a very comfortable sun room out of a Pottery Barn catalog. Once you are seated you feel like part of the family that belongs in the house.
The staff is inviting and sweet, and our server was DELIGHTFUL and fun, but knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our dishes.
I would highly recommend you try Seed - You won't be disappointed!
Had a birthday dinner for a friend here and sat at the kitchen table. An experience only exceeded by the food and service!
Love it, the ribs are amazing the attention wonderful even in a busy Friday
Seed is a solid good. The service is always on point and if they make a mistake, they a sure to corrct it or comp items. The wine list is just ok. I have no issues with the food. It is consistent in quality. I give 4 stars because I am not blown away by the flavors. I will continue to visit the restaurant.
Excellent food. Super nice people. Food over priced.
We stopped in for a light lunch and it was a great experience. The space is very light and inviting. The outdoor seating looked really cute but it was a little warm to sit outside. Our server was friendly and suggested some great appetizers for lunch. We really enjoyed the tacos and the soup of the day, butternut squash!
First time for brunch. Amazing. One of my favorite places.
We went here for our anniversary last night. The service and the food were excellent. I had the bone in pork chop and my wife had the shrimp and grits. Our server was great and went over the entire menu with us in detail. We even went to order a simple appetizer and he recommended that we try something else that you cannot get just anywhere. I could really tell he cared about his job. On our way home we talked about that this may have been the best meal we have ever had.
I am from out of state and every time I come in town to visit my parents, my father takes me here because it is my very favorite restaurant and wine bar! The food selections are excellent and change seasonally, the staff is professional and attentive, and it's an overall wonderful place for dinner and drinks afterwards. 100% recommend for a date night or small get together. They can accompany large groups, but it can be hard to hear each other. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed! Reservations recommended.
Great place for a special or regular occasion. Creative chef and great bartenders.
Seed is great but never been to stem before tonight which is where we were. Attached to seed. Nice bar with excellent small.platea and a nice wine selection. Great place to start the night.
Nice atmosphere
Above average food
Portions on smaller side
I took my girlfriend here for brunch and I will never go back again. Food was bland and not good at all. The service we received from the waitress made the experience even worse. The waitress was unattentive her demeanor made us feel very uncomfortable. When asking her about pricing on a refill she replied " I don't know I believe all the prices were on the menu." Meanwhile her interaction with other guest she was smiling, conversing with them making recommendations for their meal and making sure they were happy. When she got to us it was blank stares attitude and just very unpleasant. She acted as if she didn't want to serve us. I just didn't feel as though it's an establishement for my kind (black people) just from the people that were there. She pretty much reassured my accusations from the way we were treated and the difference she made between the tables. I have never gone online and made a review but this one was so necessary. One last thing one of the cooks was wiping his nose with his hand, drinking out of a cup from home touching receipt paper while placing bread on plates with no gloves on his hands! Worse experience and I will never return again!!!!
Seed has fantastic food and wine! Great place for family dinners.
One of the best local restaurants in the area. Great service and food, love the bar and patio when the weather is nice. Staff is top notch, knowledgeable and work well together.
This is one of our new favorite spots for brunch. Their peach salad with grilled salmon is my go to order! Adore the decor and vibe of this restaurant. They have great parking too - always a plus near Atlanta.
The food was great just not my waiter. Zach seemed irritated, so customer service was not friendly.
Very tasty cuisine and fun atmosphere for Marietta! Went with a friend at lunch and we both enjoyed our choices. The hostess was fairly helpless, but with a little guidance and a firm suggestion, we were able to get two seats at the bar. Service was friendly, albeit a little slow due to the packed crowd. Will definitely go again, but for dinner so we can taste the enticing cocktails that were available.
