Excellent vacation spot. Definitely ask for Tajae and Bernard if you get Butler service.

This place is amazing. Food, staff, and was room is the definition of a good time. We purchased the run of the house promotion. We expected garden view room, but we received a free upgrade to a full ocean view room. Alvin at the swim up bar is the best. Starfire plans the best activities. Jerk cart is delicious. This place was nothing short of spectacular.

Sensational resort with all inclusive system (full buffet and all of the good and the best). Great for a couple or family.

Our stay and room were beautiful. The room was clean and the resort felt safe even during the Covid pandemic. We had an amazing time, but none of this equals the experience we had with our entertainment staffer, Chad and our Outside Stage server, Ash! These two are very valuable employees and Secrets should do whatever it takes to ensure that they never leave! They are such an amazing asset to your organization and they made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable. They were professional, personable, fun, and they made us feel like family! We will keep in touch with them...and definitely look for them when we return! They will be the reason we return! They made us laugh, they made us feel special and they took great care of us. Thank you CHAD and ASH for making our much needed and long awaited vacation more than we could have imagined! You two are pros!

Loved it, loved Jamaica and her people. Great staff, facility, excellent food.

They need to have a warning step on the adult TV, however. Not a good surprise... The ocean surf is great, but don't channel surf here!

This was our first trip to Jamaica. My husband surprised me for my 40th bday. Upon arrival we were welcomed with open arms and drinks. They did not stop there. The day of my bday I felt like a queen. Everytime we returned to the room it was like opening a gift. From bottles of rum and champagne to a tub filled with bubbles, oils, and , roses. Chocolate covered strawberries and cake for dessert.
Everyone we met would greet us with a smile and make sure we did not need anything.
The room was very clean. The pillows could've been better but the bed was comfortable. The food was amazing.
I will definitly return. They made us feel like we were at home.
We stayed in the preferred club swim out suite. The view was breathtaking.
Side note you definitly have to try a Bob Marley drink and the rum cream over ice!

Definitely a place worth the money. Excellent balance between price and value for money. There are some detriments however. I have been to many places on the Caribbean and the beach here is not the best. Too limited space to swin in terms of depth. It's very shallow of a have to be honest. Most of the water is filled with algae. This has to be cleaned to give the water a better look.

The resort is awesome and the staff are friendly. We went in the off season and the restaurants were still pretty crowded so I am not sure what it would be like during the peak. The resort has plenty of amenities for you to stay busy. The bars are stocked with high end liquor. Only issue was they had a Dragon Stout on the beer menu but they only offer it at the lobby and they were always out. Definitely take advantage of going over to Breathless on Saturday for free and you can eat at their restaurants. Otherwise, definitely nicer at Secrets if you want a quieter vacation versus a party crowd at Breathless.

The piano bar is great at night but unfortunately it only starts at 10:30 and just lasts one hour.

We are already planning another trip back!

SWO is a fabulous resort. Plenty of food options & activities to keep you busy.

Wonderful 5 day stay. Felt extremely safe, no Covid issues. Got to meet Errol, a landscape worker who we got to discuss life and his family. He is a true value at this resort. He made an amazing coconut filled floral arrangement as he cut the bushes by the pool. Super surprised and an amazing gesture.
We also met Sheldon, the best jerk chicken chef in Jamaica. Could not wait for him to show up at beach with his bbq cart loaded with the best chicken we have ever had. We would definitely return. Thanks for the rest. Really needed.

It was absolutely a very wonderful trip all-inclusive that's the best way to go. worth it. Treat you like royalty! welcome you back home. And the saying is no problems mon only situations!!

I was planning to celebrate my 50th birthday but cancelled due to COVID-19. AM Resorts have the worst refund policy. When you make your reservation they don't tell you if you request a refund it will take 90-120 days to process the refund...absolutely absurd! It didn't take them 90-120 to process my request and take my money. I really can't understand the long wait time since I had to pay a cancellation fee.

If you are thinking about booking with this resort or any AM Resorts beware if you need to cancel and request a refund.

Amazing property! Very clean, beautiful rooms, great amenities and most importantly the food and staff were on point! Jerome wAs by far one of the ultimate best butler's we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and having him in our company is something we will always remember! Preferred club is the way to go! Being able to hang out at breathless was a huge bonus for FUN nights! Will definitely be back!!

This was my first trip to Jamaica and it was wonderful. Great resort. All inclusive. Wonderful place to go. Friendly and fun and relaxing. Will definitely go again.

I am beyond happy we decided to stay at secrets wild orchid for our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing - it was everything we could of wished for and more! The resort was beautiful. The food was delicious at every restaurant and all of the events were so much fun. All the staff was friendly and the service was great everywhere we went. The bartenders were awesome (Alvin at the pool bar, Kerry-Ann and Erica on the beach). I must say though, the entertainment team made our experience - they were so personable and made sure that we were always having a good time. A huge shout out to Redstripe, Slim Jimmy, TJay and starfire!!! We highly recommend this resort for any occasion!

Unforgettable stay with my husband and my son in this fabulous hotel with its beautiful private beach. The large room is very good and very clean. The staff are very pleasant and do everything to make you feel good.
There are lots of activities and the restaurants are all very good. We are thinking of going back next year so much we liked this magnificent hotel as well as the welcome which was reserved for us ...

This is Secrets location is in my top 3 resorts I ve ever visited. The service is impeccable, the resort is gorgeous and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this resort for an incredible vacation.

Very nice accomodations. Food is very good. Montego Bay is a fantastic place to chill. Low key for an all inclusive. Staff are friendly for the most part.

Besides the fact that they were trying give us a room that was different than what we booked, everything was perfect! Highly recommended if you're going to be in the Montego Bay Area.

Absolutely amazing and the staff is awesome. Eleven of us went on a Girlfriend Getaway and we enjoyed everything from the drinks to the food. It is a great place to have a wedding or Anniversary celebration.. Cant wait for my next visit.

Can't really get where the hospitality is supposed to begin. The check in process was horrendous and was getting more ridiculous as time went on. It is going on 45 minutes to check in to our room. It is our anniversary and we got very little recognition as to that. No welcome no attention for the first 10 minutes of being herded in the lobby, just milling about like cattle, with these young ladies walking around inefficiently. Information being given within earshot of strangers, records not kept properly, just the worst experience and a horrible way to start a trip. New SOPs need to be put in place, because frankly this felt like checking in at spring break in Myrtle Beach instead of a Inclusive Resort.

No too impressed, they were always out of things to mix their drinks, beach was small and many sections were cordoned off for events. Preferred section did not feel like it was preferred! Friendly staff, and a few activities saved my vacation experience here.

Would not return to this resort. We waited for everything from coffee to dinner. Everyday waiting in lineups. The food was ok. Service was lacking. Some staff were miserable and you could tell.

The room service plate collection at 8am every day abruptly woke us up... every day.

Very limited beer and liquor selection.

Save your money and goto a more affordable resort.

Very beautiful resort that is accessible for those who stay at Breathless. The beach is on this side along with the gym and a large selection of shops and restaurants. If you stay at Breathless you need to check out Secrets.

Visited here mid-January and weather was awesome. It was warm enough to enjoy the water activities but not so hot that you melted.

I'd recommend a VIP service offered at the airport that fast tracks you thru the immigration process. Literally met us with a sign and had a designated person walk us past all those really long lines of folks waiting for hours. I am guessing but believe it saved us hours of our time. It was paid by the vendor that sponsored our trip...yay and thank you Hunter!! Cost was $50/person one way or $80/round trip. I think it is offered thru Mobay or Amstar...sorry didnt get the name of the company but would def recommend it!!

The rooms at the Wild Orchid were pretty nice and angled to provide lovely views of the ocean. Property appeared to be pretty handicap accessible with the exception of the beach itself. Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid are neighboring sites and we had access to ammenities at both.

There is a rooftop bar outside of the Preferred Club which is supposed to be exclusive to certain members but we were able to just walk right in. I'd say it was worth a visit and a drink for the view of the city. We hung out at Barracudas when we met for drinks before dinner and kinda got hooked on their Bob Marleys - tri-color fruity frozen rum drink...tasty with a nice rum buzz.

There is a little stand on the beach that offers burgers, jamaican patties and warm chips - both corn and potato. Burgers were tasty and huge. Jamaican patties are like empanadas...beef or chicken encased in fried bread. They can be a bit addictive! They had a self service beer and soda tap at the stand so no line to get a quick drink.

If you like spicy then keep an eye out for the jerk chicken cart, it is soooooo delish!! Make sure you have something to drink on hand as the spice tends to linger.

Secrets has a house band and entertainment team that were the icing on the fun cake!! We caught the band twice at the Piano Bar. They have an outdoor stage and seating that is perfect. Also a dance floor to bust a move when the groove hits ya. It is right outside of a couple of their restaurants so could be annoying if you are not a Marly or reggae fan. I am a fan and thought it was great.

Overall restaurants were nicely grouped together and easy to find once you get the lay of the land. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection but lines for omelets were always long. Quite a few nice shops really close to where the restaurants are. The ice cream and popcorn were tastes of home and welcomed after some of the spicy lunches.

We didnt do excursions but got great reviews of the catamaran outing, river tubing and rum plantation tour. The folks on the catamaran outing said the snorkeling was good. They saw lots of colorful fish. They did say that only drinks were offered so eat before you go or take money/credit card for the stop at Margaritaville. The tubing group said they got a small snack of jamaican jerk chicken and drinks.

We had had a bad experience in Jamaica on a daytrip from a cruise and wasnt sure if that was going to be the same for this extended stay....happy to share that we have had fun in the sun in Jamaica mon! I would visit this resort again.

My husband and I were here for our honeymoon in November and it was absolutely amazing. I plan on coming back to Jamaica and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The resort looks like you are staying in a postcard, it is so stunning. The rooms are beautiful and the bathtub is enormous!
The staff are one of the best things about this resort. Everyone I talked to in Jamaica was so warm and inviting. I cant say enough about how wonderful the staff are - first class service in a great location. Just like paradise on earth

My husband and I just spent 5 days making it back in the states 09/04/18. From the cooks, drivers, towel man. EVERYTHING was perfect.

This is how service should be done! Polite staff, so many food options, free guess parking, room is luxurious, lifts aren't too far from the rooms, tablet in your room provided by hotel with ability to make orders for any service they offer, room service is also all inclusive, entertainment all day long, location is nice and easy to find on Google maps and the sat nav apps work great and then the route is quite easy to remember. All in all I have no complaints, I will be coming back because I've got great value for money here.

The Resort was AMAZING, we had a fabulous time. It was money well spent. I would stay definitely stay here again, the service was world class!!!

BY FAR THE WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD AFTER TRAVELING OVER 30 YEARS! THEY WILL PROMISE YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO BOOK AND THEN NOT DELIVER!!! THERE ARE MANY BEAUTIFUL CHOICE IN JAMAICA SKIP THIS ONE!!!!!

Safe needed batteries twice, door needed batteries( locked out for 30 min), hot tub spout came out, we didn't have face towels due to them running out, check in took an hour and a half. Staff information wasnt consistent. Several times I had to ask for room service to clean my room. Room service menue information is totally accurate. The in room bar only consists of beer, water, and soda and its not extremely cold. Its cool.

Overall the room was beautiful, Jamaica resort is off the beach, and the resort is close to Breathless that has some great parties.. The house band was good although they only played one out the three times they were suppose to. Speaker issues outside..

We had to leave to hear live raggae band or even raggae music and cab fare costed us 60 dollars round trip.

First night dinner with candle lights, ocean breezes, fantastic Caribbean music, great food, several yummy tropical drinks, the man of my dreams, overlooking the Caribbean sea.. Good lord did I sleep great... Here's to Dreams coming true.

Fantastic 5 star resort. Had an ocean front suite with amazing views the the sea. Beach is nice and clean. Lots of loungers. Pools tend to get busy and loud. Although our pool at Wild Orchid was more laid back. Food was ok. Some restaurants had a long wait to get in, especially French.

Had a great time!!!! Didn't want to leave!!! Very very great staff!!! Food and drinks was good!! A wonderful resort!!! So much to do there on and off the resort.

Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. Food was just ok in some restaurants. On the iPad in the rooms it say unlimited premium spirits. They kept running out of grey goose vodka in most bars. And at the pool bars they didn't have it. The entertainment at the pool was not what used to at other resorts. Didn't keep you active. Need more upbeat music. But overall a very nice Resort.

This is a great Resort I just want to tell everyone DO NOT go to and excursion by dunes river falls it will take you 3 hour each way by bus. So if you do not want to waste 11 hours and 6 of it on a bus do not go

I traveled to Montego Bay and stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid end of last year. I was disappointed with my room. The room was dated and had ALOT of mosquitoes. My stay was for 4 days Wednesday to Sunday. Everyday I found more mosquitoes in my room. I called house keeping several times to help spray and deter anymore mosquitoes. I asked on my 2nd night to switch rooms because of the infestation, the house keeper stated "the rooms are scarce" By the 3rd day it become frustrating and laughable, I did everything to stay out of my room, I killed so many mosquitoes and the last night I found a gecko on the ceiling of my room. Housekeeping was called to kill it. You can say my trip was tainted because of all these rodents. I spoke to the manager at the end of my stay, she apologized and handed me a gift basket with Jamaican rum, coffee and sauce. Well, Thanks.

Best piece of advice I can give is to talk to the concierge at the front desk about getting cab, instead of doing the tourist excursions. Cab drivers will take you off the beaten path (blue hole) or to all the same tourist excursions in half the time because you don't have to stop at 5 other resorts

Love the variety and quality of the food and the swimming out rooms which have ocean view and a tube on the balcony. It is a good place for intimate/private vacation. Adults only.
