This tour was great! Thank you to Sarah for being an exceptional tour guide. The antiques and distilling process are so interesting. And the flavored vodkas are so yummy! Love the vibe in the Speakeasy.
Best tour ever! Went here with friends and we are so glad we did. Loved every minute and the tour guide was wonderful! Definitely make sure you call the doctor !
One of my favorite tours. It was so cool. Guide was amazing and factory was amazing looking. Liquor was great
The tour's a awesome experience! The owner, Leighton Moore, has taken the theme of the Prohibition Era, almost 100 years ago and has antiques from that era throughout the entire distillery. From doors, a time clock, the bar, the elevator, even Thomas Edison's wooden work bench and seating combination in the quality control laboratory, there's so many "touches" that add to the ambiance. And, of course, the tour ends with a "3-sample tasting" of at least a dozen choices of spirits at the antique bar. Not a fan of flavored spirits, I did like the orange vodka. The gin was as smooth as water. The gift shop was the final stop for home consumption and mementoes.
My wife and I scheduled a tour and within moments of setting foot on property,I knew this was going to a good one.The first thing they have you do,is punch in for "work".The place is filled with antiques in the waiting area of distillery and each has a story. The staff is very nice and informative. They take you through the history of how the distillery came about,to the different beverages they make,to how they make them and everything in between. The waiting room isn't the only place with antiques...everywhere you look, there are antiques and old artifacts and architecture salvaged from the past! The tastings were awesome and agin the staff was very informative of which order you should try them. I didn't want to leave,it was probably the best distillery tour that I have taken!...I highly recommend doing it.
Must visit place for food and drinks. Almost all the appetizers we ve ordered were tasting great. Jerk chicken quesadilla was my favorite.
The distillery tour was a lot of fun, very well done. The staff members were pleasant and enthusiastic, and the tastings were generous, especially for the price.
So good we're gonna do it for the 6th time!! We bring someone new with us every time. Looks like the price has gone up 5 bucks, but I think its still worth it. Love love love the tastings at the end, only wish we could linger a little bit longer. Hey Seacrets- how about a "frequent flier discount"?? Or at least a coupon we can use at the bar/restaurant afterwards? (Review by Rhonda Boyce)
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience a blast! She was a very fun asset. The historical pieces in the building were added elements that enhanced the tour. We got to clock in for our tour using an antique device, call the doctor to try to get a prescription for some booze and the sampling room was set up as a speak easy that we needed a password to enter. You can tell that lots of thought went into the tour experience.
Top notch! I definitely reccommend.
