Satish dhawan space Centre is located in Sriharikota Nellore district Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the Indian space research organization I.e., Isro in India. To reach Satish dhawan space Centre called Shar we haven't find direct train route or bus route. First we to reach Sullurupeta which is in nellore district from there we can find buses and jeeps to shar. Which is 21 km from sullurupeta. I have visited. We don't have free entry to visit shar. We need to take permission to visit shar .

It is an excellent place where a research student get practical awareness about rocket science and it's development stage & other info in India. I went along with my institute mates. We are allowed to watch everything. Food, water, cafeteria etc are present. You are not allowed to take electronic gadgets inside. You are provided with facilities to place your luggage. You will be checked thoroughly by the security so that no mischief is allowed. There are guides at some locations giving the related info.

Went in for a field trip.. it was amazing. Went near the two launch pads. It was an amazing experience. They didn't allow our mobile phones near the launch pads so couldn't take the images inside. But nevertheless was a wonderful experience.

Satish Dhawan Space Centre is world's second best place(coordinates) to launch the rocket to space. A viewing gallery is been newly built here to watch the rocket launch. The view from the gallery is awesome, the fumes, the cracking sounds of the fuel and the propellant colors is so beautiful. Sharing some the pics which I snapped here. :)

If here exist more star than Satish Dhawan Space Centre will gets all stars. I think each student must visit this place which is proud of all Indian. Both inside and outside of this space centre atmospheric view is amazing.

As this site is experiment zone so security system is hardness. If you enter inside then the security staff guard will check you top to bottom entirely.
