This place (as with most House of Blues locations) has a crappy layout to see a show. The drinks are way overpriced and we actually had to stand in line to go out to the smoking area! What ?!?!? Oh yeah, and the parking situation sucked also.

I really enjoy the ability of being close to the stage to watch the artist perform. I have gone to approximately 50 concerts thus far and never have I been so close to the stage as I have at House of Blues. Which, in my opinion, makes the show that much better. If one enjoys music as much as I do I strongly suggest one provides themselves with the opportunity.

Has different rooms and levels. Getting around is a little disorganized but the place is generally clean. Not exactly built for amazing sound and the crowd can sometimes be trashy. But it can be fun just to have some drinks and listen to some music.

so fun

I had a real nice. One thing! I paid $54.00 for two double drinks and pretty much had red bull. So I would like to say, if you're going to charge like a high end. At least let the high end drinks have drink in them.

HoB not only provides 3 different venues for live music, they have a great bar and a full service Louisiana Cajun style restaurant. Prices are moderate and with a little more consistency with the dishes served they could be an awesome place to get your southern barbacue yearnings quenched.

This venue is awesome! Drink prices are fair and you can't beat the intimate environment they've fostered here between the crowd and the live artist. As soon as we left, we bought tickets for another concert next month. Highly recommend.

Let me start by saying this is the first negative review I have ever written. Went to HOB on Saturday May 28, 2016 for the Totally 80's live with Missing Persons and Bow Wow Wow. For starters the sound was awful; I am not sure if they were trying to make the concert authentic by using technology from the 80's, but it sure did sound like it. Drinks were expensive but I was prepared for that, what I was not prepared for was being excorted out of the concert by lead security plus six more staff. I was not drunk acting stupid or being violent in any way. It started when I wanted to venture a little closer to the stage, so I began the squeezing my way to the front, found a spot about three rows back on the right side of the stage. About 2 minutes later I have security pulling me aside and telling me that I needed to go back where my friends were, I replied "is this an open seating venue?" Was told yes but you need to go where your friends are, while this is happening there is a little girl thanking the for removing me. I was not doing anything wrong; I was not aware that when at a concert you are not allowed to push your way to the front of the stage. So at that point I continued to dance in the security area (ok I did break the rules here). After a few minutes the head of security comes over and motions me to follow him, which I did as well as 5 additional security workers. I was not resisting I do not understand why it took a total 6 security to walk me out. I will never go to the HOB again, even I was given free tickets would not go and I suggest you don't waste your time money or energy on this money sucking over ambitious security staffed venue. If there is concert you really want to see check out nearby cities the bank may be playing ie LA, Orange County or Palm Springs.

Excellent dishes and variety of beers. We were 4 people and everything we asked for was spectacular. In addition, we enjoyed first class live music and a very pleasant atmosphere. I would go back!

Seeing killswitch engage was awesome! But the restaurant was a complete let down. Service was atrocious, I had to ask for a new water 3 times before I finally got one and was checked on twice during our 50minute stay. My Cajun chicken pasta was alright but my wife s brisket tacos were filled with big cubes of fat. I don t mean meet with a little fat but, cubes of nothing but fat. The prices are outrageous for such sub par food. *Update* I went and gave this place 3 starts instead of the original 2 because the concert was 5 stars in my opinion but the restaurant was a 1 star.

I have been coming to the House of Blues for many years now for concerts and even a show called Raw. It's a small venue and it definitely affects my hearing during rock concerts, but the experience is worth it.

So much fun saw marianas trench! So small and intimate. Will definitely come again! Staff was awesome. Got a little stuffy and hot so we asked if we could step outside even though it says no re-entry and they were super nice and let us stand outside by the door

My girlfriend got VIP seating for me and a few other people to join her for a comedy show last Friday evening. The comedian was hilarious! We had a little trouble connecting with the person who was handling our VIP package. After I found out how much the VIP tickets were and being in the VIP section, I don't think it was a such a great deal. You're sitting up above the stage and far to the side. Unless you get right up to the railing, your view is obstructed by the railing. The seats right in the front would have been a much better option for what we paid. Maybe they should rope off a section in the front on each side for VIP? Also, please offer a healthier selection of food choices. Almost everything was fried. We were able to get a salad from the restaurant downstairs. Would definitely NOT recommend the VIP package for anyone going here! Have dinner somewhere else first and purchase regular seating.

We were visiting from Florida and went to the House of Blues!! Tyler was our bartender who was great in personality however I'm a light weight and had four rum and cokes and a shot...left there without even having a buzz AT ALL...they cut their liquor too much!! So watered down that you cant even get a buzz!! & charge way too much for drinks!!! Really sad to be so greedy on liquor cost at a place so popular!! Wouldn't visit again next time!!!

My wife and I went there for dinner. There was a lovely 2 person band that sang requests and some of their own stuff. It was very nice. Then we went downstairs to see a friend's sons band and it was a good time
