We had not been out to any restaurant since the beginning of the
pandemic and wanted to take our developmentally disabled son and his caregiver out to one of our favorite restaurants. When we called to make a reservation to eat outside we were told that it was first come first serve. When I explained the situation I was told that they would make an exception and would reserve a table for us outside. As promised, when we arrived there was a table outside ready for us to be seated. We had a great dinner and will be back soon.
Went into Scuttlebutt s for lunch with my brother on May 11 around 1 pm
Now we have been patrons since they were in the old tin building. We have our yacht at tenth street and have most often have gone there with our guess after cruising for diner and a brew.
I will no longer patronize this establishment and here is way.
We waited for more than a half hour to be seated to find out they had inadvertently skipped over our name on the list to be seated. They then seated us in the most remote booth. It was 15 minutes before we saw a wait person. After placing our order it was another 30 minutes for our food to arrive.
After getting our bill we finally got up to leave when a waiter ran up to us to take our payment.
The new menu prices are way out of line, from what they were. I think they are trying to make up for lost revenue from the pandemic. Our Hamburgers did not even come with fries. A very small cup of chowder was three something.
For what is worth, the food was good. So sad but the penny pinching accountant or restaurant manager has destroyed a fine fun restaurant.
So long Scuttlebutt s, my guess it will be all down hill from here.
Didn't know about this place and Ive worked up here for a couple years. A friend recommended it and I was pleased to agree that the place was great! Good food, beautiful view and good beer.
This was the PERFECT place to stop by after flying into Seattle and heading towards Bellingham!!! The atmosphere inside and out was so cozy. The staff were so friendly and attentive. And the fish and chips.... To die for 1000% recommend and would come here again!!!
Wonderful outdoor seating. I ordered their special of the day, the Cuban sandwich. It was delicious and HUGE! I ate less than half and had it for dinner too. So good!
What a great place. The atmosphere was very inviting and friendly.
We were greeted with a smile by Rachael when we entered and she made us feel welcomed and she sat us and immediately alerted our server that we were here.
Our server Alex got our order taken quickly without making us feel rushed and it came out quick and was exactly the way we wanted it....even all the little extras we asked for
I would definitely recommend this place time and again. Definitely a 5 star
Excellent service, great cider and beer selections. The kitchen had a miss on the preparation of one of the dishes in our party. It was rectified.
Mother's Day Linner was delicious all around. The wait today wasn't to bad. 45min but couple parties didn't show which got us in quicker. Thank you. I loved the calamari and onion rings for appetizers.
I personally enjoyed my plate.
My plate had a nicely seasoned chicken that layed upon my bed of Alfredo noodles. The chicken Alfredo was delicious, creamy and had plenty of sauce. Added a side salad with ranch dressing. Crisp veggies perfect for the warm day we were having. Husband had a cheeseburger and fries. Its a burger. Daughter had fish tacos (suggestion don't get baked) otherwise her plate was delicious, and my son in law had perfectly seasoned shrimp linguine it was delicious as well with lots of sauce. With a hint of a spice to the flavor.
Couldn't remember what the potato boat was called. It was alright. Not my favorite.
Definitely a great place down by the water, waiter was pretty nice and helped with the drink selections pretty well.
I parked on the south side of the building there was a door and it said use other door.
There was a hero on the door and it pointed in both directions left and right. I went right there was no other door. Ended up walking all the way around the building and found an entrance.
The staff was super friendly really enjoyed talking to them.
I ordered a French dip my order came pretty quick. It was very tasty enjoyed the meal.
