Ordered a saucepan on 27th March. It's now 11th April and there is no sign of it. They are happy to take the money for the item as soon as you order, but don't appear to care when they get it out to you. It did not say that the item was out of stock when I ordered it...so where is it?? First and last time that I buy anything from them.

Dreadful customer service. No response at all on my first attempt to call. No response at all to an e-mail sent to the customer service department. After an endless wait (on a line charged at 7p per minute) I was told that an item ordered on 23 April would not be delivered until 25 May. I cancelled the order.
It is no good offering a wide range online if you can't deliver the goods.

Item size was different to advertised , return was VERY expensive (customer pays ) quick to take money even though the didn't have the item , waited 2 months and gave up , then they take an age to refund , I won't be using Scittscagain , check out their Trust pilot reviews first AWFUL

Ordered a sleep wedge pillow. Money taken from credit card but several days later no item received. When I emailed to ask when the goods would be dispatched I was sent a tracking no for the courier Hermes. The tracking said there was a 24 hour delay from the 17 January. By then it was the 21st. I don't understand why Scotts didn't check the tracking themselves before coming back to me. I phoned and emailed and was told that they have to give Hermes 10 days in which to deliver the item before they class it as missing. However today, 22 January, I received an email to say that the item is missing and I now need to allow 14 days for delivery of a new item! Completely unimpressed with both Scotts and Hermes. I think the least Scotts could have done is contact me to ask if I would prefer a refund (I was told this would be an option when I spoke to them yesterday) and offer a refund of the postage cost. Appalling customer service.

I too have been trying to arrange a collection for an item which arrived damaged on 22nd May. Despite numerous emails sent via the on-line form and directly to Customer Services, attaching photos of damage to the item and also the packaging I have still not been able to get this sent back for a refund. On 1st June I received a phone call from Scotts advising me that they would email details of the courier company and attach a label which I could print off and then arrange for a suitable collection date. To date I have received nothing. The item is quite large so cannot be returned via the post office. It is very frustrating that I am not able to talk to anyone. I realise that they are busy but the level of customer service is very poor. Having looked at the website I see that the item I purchased is no longer available so a replacement is not an option. I have family members who have bought from Scotts previously but my advice to them would be maybe to look elsewhere

Ordered music centre for partners birthday. Turned up damaged. Delivery driver sent message to scotts and took it back. I rang scotts and eventually spoke to a man who knew nothing. I have since tried to speak to somebody on three different numbers to a total of thirty minutes at my expense with no luck. Busy...Busy...Busy....On one of the numbers a message said ,'we will always contact you if there are any delays'. They have not. On another, a message said to ring a particular number which was customer services. It was not. I still had to press this and that to get to customer services, which was...busy. This is not the first time scotts have done this, but I thought I would try again, I wish I had not. Birthday surprise ruined and where is my music centre? I shall not ever be using this company again. Shambolic.

I placed an order on the 8th August, was told that the item would be delivered on 16th August.

The item didn't arrive, so I phoned customer service, was told that the item wasn't available and they were expecting it to be so by the 24th August. I wasn't impressed, but really wanted the item I'd ordered, so agreed to wait.

24th August arrived, unfortunately my order didn't!

I again phoned customer service, a weary voice told me that "the manufacturer" was now giving the 9th September as the likely delivery date!

Really, Scotts of Stow are taking money for goods they don't have - is this actually legal!?!



I do intend to report Scotts of Stow to trading standards, as their business practices and lack of customer service, certainly requires investigation.

Ordered goods 9th October, heard nothing until I contacted them on 23rd October. Mixed messages about delivery, and then discovered they had already taken funds from my bank account on 9th October anyway. Then remembered - I'd dealt with them in the past and had same issues - payment taken even though goods not in stock, so they have benefit of your money whilst they order the items in from their supplier. They then blame supplier issues. Have cancelled this order and they have agreed to collect items when they arrive free of charge. WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN

Called to check delivery time,however they could not find my order using the customer order reference but found it via my post code, well at least they knew they had an order but still couldn't find it !!! promised to follow it through and call me next day. No phone call, surprising as I had waited over 15 minutes to speak to one of their advisor's the previous day listening to some crass music as they totalled up the cost of their premium rate ,the least they could have done was to have the decency to call back ! I Cancelled the order after a few more days and even now 4 days later no response not an acknowledgement nor an apology, would I use them again !! you're having a laugh!!

If I could give no stars or minus stars I would! Ordered items in August 2019 and after phoning today in November I was told the items aren t available until Jan 2020.Hopeless and a company to avoid.And no apology which makes it even worse.An absolute disgrace.

A week ago I bought a slow cooker which they didn't gave in stock so went through the process of having an order form filled in. A different delivery address to my own. Simple. Not. So today I've had to wait for over 6 minutes to speak to someone on the only number available to be told that they can not be refunded and the order cancelled as it was a purchase through the till. The woman was incredibly unhelpful. The shop is 15 minutes from me and I will not be driving there to go and complain. I certainly will never be buying from them again. Long live Amazon Prime.

I placed an order on 3 August with an expected delivery date of 10 days later. Their emailed receipt states that they keep the customer informed every step of the way!! Delivery date came and went I didn t hear from them! I called to chase it on 15 August . An apologetic customer service assistant said that the item was not in stock and that the order had been cancelled and a refund issued on 10 August! She also said that a letter confirming this had been sent. When I said I had not received it, she then said there was a delay with the letters!! To date, 2 September, I have not received this so called refund! I called on 20 August to chase again and was told by a surly customer assistant that I have to send bank statements as proof that I haven t received a refund, which I did the same day via email and still nothing!! I would firmly advise NOT TO USE THIS STORE ever again! I certainly shan t!!!! One star is definitely too much!!!! I shall be taking this up with trading standards!

I have received another catalogue this morning but still haven't had faulty replacement goods from my order on 25th November! I ordered several items which all came but the Brush for Every Style storage stand was faulty so I telephoned and spoke to Steve. He said he would send another stand which never came so I phoned again to be told that it would be dealt with urgently as I needed it for a Xmas present. It's now 30th December and it still has not arrived! I am very disappointed and will not be ordering anything else.
