Disappointed at receptionist and first impressions. It's my husband and my joint birthday today. We decided to go to a sea-food restaurant near Selfridges. My husband politely explained it's our joint birthday today and asked if there is a table available for two. In return the lady didn't even look at me and replied coldly to my husband that there was only a table outside or at the bar but they needed it back by 8pm. The thing is that we don't mind sitting outside or finishing our food and leaving within an hour but we should feel welcome and that spending money in your restaurant is worthwhile for such a special occasion. Shame she was not more sympathetic. I am not eligible to vote for their food or service. But certainly first impressions on this restaurant is not very good.

Fantastic food, love the decor. Ask for a seat outside if the weather is pleasant, otherwise I prefer sitting at the bar.

A delight. My first stop whenever I visit London! An annual winter pilgrimage for the Treacle Pudding is what I live for.

Excellent service, fine food, and a very good selection of beverages. Cigar-friendly, if only in a limited outdoor setting.

Outstanding fish and seafood - I had octopus carpaccio, seared tuna steak and a pistachio semifreddo, all highly recommended. Their Carrington cocktail was especially good.

Scotts is a must! I have been here numerous of times and I am never disappointed. The service is great.

I've been in Scott's last Friday, the 18th of April, dinner time.I was seated at the table 31....I am speechless for the amazing and unique experience we have had, the welcome, the food, the ambience. ...Thank you everybody, thank you Valerio Tranquillo,Dermouth, the headwaiyer in charge, the waiter, and all peoples working there , who made possible that.
I think , Scott's is one of the best places in Uk, where your dreams will come trought.

Great ambience, classy with an amazing cold seafood plate. A Must have !!

Pretty on the inside, however, seafood tower wasn t great and service was subpar.

My favourite restaurant excellent food and service specially when you set outside table it s amazing atmosphere. However, today 11/10/2020 I have arrived on time or even a couple minutes earlier and I have requested a table outside in advance and when I have approached the reception the employee she said she would provide me a table that has not got a heater and I have agreed to that. However, As I approached the table I realised that there is an unreserved table that includes a heater so I asked her why I wasn t provided the table and I was told that the table is requested for someone else however when I reserved my table I was told that I am not guaranteed anything I asked for so in that case why is the person who requested a heater was guaranteed it and when I asked for the heater when booking in advance I was not allowed it therefore, I had to wait 20 min ahead with my family in cold weather of my reservation in order to get a table of a family that finished their lunch because their table had a heater and even after I finished my lunch the table that was unoccupied with a heater that was apprently reserved for someone was unoccupied the whole time. Lastly, I am very disappointed about this service and expected better as I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and this act should not come from a high class restaurant.

Our favourite seafood restaurant to go whenever we in London. Food is great and staff are attentive.

Excellent service, very professional staff. Dinner was an interesting experience the food was very tasty and particular. The fish was fresh, the lobster delicious. The delicious desserts. I did not like the goblet of white wine Gavj, the sulphites felt too much. Very clean bathrooms. I wonder why there is very little light at the tables, it is difficult to read the menus.

Went for lunch at the bar , we enjoyed the whole experience , but what we had was what one would expect from such a established high end experience, but was a great atmosphere and would always recommend

Lovely classy atmosphere, amazingly fresh food served with grace. Presentation & staff are outstanding. Will visit as often as I could.

Smelled very strongly of fish when we entered, so it was not surprising that my Dover Sole did not taste fresh. This was exacerbated by the fact that they neglected to give me a lemon wedge, which I only realized when the party seated next to me receive lemon wedges with their Dover Sole. Despite having made reservations well in advance, we were seated at a long banquette facing the very long server station, so I spent the entire meal watching multiple servers working, going to and fro, and talking. Also, they initially could not find our reservation, for reasons that were never clear. Initially unaware that this restaurant is part of the same corporate restaurant group (Caprice), we made the mistake of dining at 34 Mayfair a few days later, which was equally disappointing.

Fabulous food, slightly hit and miss with the service. Delicious dessert! Strange atmosphere on a Saturday lunchtime. Dinners are usually better.

Very class place with the best seafood ever, the price is high yet very deserved

I know it doesn't claim to be vegan or have a vegan menu, and the veggie menu looks good, but me asking the waiter if the "chef could show is his talents with a vegan special", and getting an effing plate of peas, plain spinach and broccoli. Felt like the kitchen was giving me the bird. So bad it is actually funny.

Absolutely delicious food and great cocktails. Our barmaid Kasia was fantastic ,she pays attention to how to make amazing cocktails and very attentive service. The food is high quality and top notch as expected from Scott's, all of the staff were nice and friendly.

What a lunch! Oysters and Dover sole with red Sancerre. Life can be good. And Agne is just a wonderful and great member of staff.

Friendly staff (waiting & reception). Sashimi ok. The marsala was a bit ordinary.

Wonderful food, drinks and service. Can wholly recommend the griddled prawns - the chilli jam is delicious. The monkfish Masala is also lovely.

Very pricey, but very exclusive! If you love fish, excellent service and cosy but stylish atmosphere you will love Scott s. Cannot recommend enough & I have visited plenty restaurants in London.

A London classic! The food is of the highest quality and is exquisitely presented. There's no shortage of options so any fish lover should be able to find something they like. The cocktails are inventive and the honey and basil martini shows a nice bit of innovation. An extensive wine list and great desserts make this a really great night out. We were served by Lino who made us feel welcome but relaxed, perfect!

James bondesque decor, excellent fish and a smaller but equally good selection of meat dishes, superb wine list, great service.

Seafood in combination with a sweet wine is my favourite dinner. That is the reason why I visit this place regularly. When I looked at the menu for the first time, it was hard to chose just one item. I was impressed with the wide selection of fish based meals. Very nice atmosphere and qualified staff.

I felt like fish and chips while in the UK so stopped in for a quick lunch at the bar. What a show! They really pull out all the stops here to make sure you have a great time. Highly recommend.

While living in London I've heard this was one of the best restaurants of Seafood. I waited till my parents came to town to take them there very happily but sadly after various attempts to make a reservation with days in advance we finally got a table on the day we didn't quite wanted. Anyways we went there and got a table. The place has a lack of space in between tables after the amount you are paying for it. It was too noisy to the point my mother had a terrible headache. My father and I order the lobster bisque which was the thing we were more anxious for. unfortunately it was very salty and runny definitely not what we expected. My mother order the grilled lobster which she had to take back as it wasn't properly cooked. and my father fish was very bland. I was quite disappointed that the service that night was lacking at all as we never got any apologies for the food and the whole ambience was ruined. It is very sad to pay a high price for food when you are not been given the value for it.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Location in a nice area of Mayfair with a great outside seating. We did not have a reservation but they helped us out quickly eventhough it was a Sunday afternoon. Good choice of fresh seafood all around with spectacular presentation!

The food was excellent, the service was really bad, the atmosphere was dull, sad. No waiters or waitresses or barman was wearing a Mask, they all look stress and do not want to be there. Expect from the barman who where a delight, tables have not changed. Annoying waiters who comes and collect stuffs on your table without asking you.
We left that awful place to go and have our desert and more drinks somewhere welcoming and it was a good choice.

Located in Mayfair in the heart of London, it's an expensive and exclusive restaurant especialised in seafood and Dover sole as the star dish.
My dover sole was delicious, really nice and well done. My squid salad disappointing but that's my opinion not a fact.
Service is good buy not excellent.
Now, the lighting makes almost impossible to read the menu, especially with that tiny printing and the restaurant is too loud. The noise is not that of an upscale venue. It's not pleasant having to raise the voice to be heard.
So, with the plus and cons is your choice now. If you don't mind overspending in a meal, go ahead and visit it. For me, it's fine but will not repeat any time soon.

Consistently fabulous food, attention to detail and perfect service

Birthday celebration post lockdown and first meeting with our son since January. Great service fantastic food and friendly helpful staff. All socially distanced and felt very comfortable!
