I started my claim 11 months ago, my claim has been passed round a few solicitors and in just under a year the company have contacted me 0, yes ZERO times. I am very worried but don't want to change in case it causes more problems.

I have now come back to edit after contacting the company. I have filled in claims forms 3 times now and was essentially told on the phone just now its my fault for not sending them back. I was told this, despite being told in September that the delay was due to the person dealing with my claim leaving the company.

I was also informed by the nasal speaking girl on the phone that, when I raised concerns about never being contacted she replied with, "well, we did try to ring you in December but you didn't answer." This makes me feel valued as a customer when the company can only grace me with ONE attempt at a call in NINE MONTHS.

I retract the generous 2 stars and wish I could give fractions.

My case was dealt with very quickly when Daniel King took over and he tried to get the best outcome for me all of the time. Daniel King helped me a lot to finally get my Claim! My case wasn't dealt with as fast by any other solicitor but Daniel has finally settled it and got the best possible outcome. He was always very clear with what's happening, very honest and so assuring! He has been brilliant and I'm so happy my case was put in his hands. All in all, my solicitors before Daniel were not making it happen as quick as Daniel did. Although, they always tried their best and they always wanted the best for me. I highly recommend this place. How this company is rated 4.3 i will never know. My claim started in November 2015 and it has only been since Jan 2017 that the case seemed to have progressed although only after I've chased and chased have i heard anything. Communication is appalling, I've been waiting on an update from Gemma Green since 9 May, in this time i have sent 4 emails all remain ignored.

They don't have any interest in you whatsoever despite me complaining a number of times in the past about this.

If i could rate this company a zero I would. Wish i could have changed solicitors.

I would strongly recommend that you avoid these people at all costs.

It's not often I take the time to write a review online but thought on this occasion I would make the effort due to the "excellent" service provided by Scott Rees & Co during the recent sale and purchase of our home.

My wife and I had previously used their Conveyancing services twice before and on both occasions had received great service from them hence it was an easy choice to use them again. Their fees remained very competitive and were clearly defined from the outset.

Throughout the process of moving home, information and documents were shared very quickly and communicated well. If there was ever a need to raise a query whether by email or phone then they were always responded to quickly and professionally. I never had to chase for updates or felt progress was not being made.

On this occasion I think the reason that everything went so smoothly and efficiently was due to Sarah Smyth who was our dedicated case officer. Sarah was excellent, she was polite, professional, knowledgeable and guided us through the process whenever required. Her manner made us feel like it was a personal service to us and that we were not just another customer.

Moving house is a stressful time but we cannot thank Sarah enough for her help and assistance. We will not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Great service from Scott Reed & Co. I originally was assigned someone who left very early on in the case, Daniel Curwen took over and has been absolutely fantastic from the get go. He made my case easy to understand, he was always contactable (would usually reply to emails within 30mins!) and just overall a very friendly person to speak to. Honestly great service and would definitely reccomend!

Have a very apparent medical negligence case on my hands where I was told (after surgery) that my illness was actually "all in my head" so sought out medical negligence advice, only to be told the negligence is all in my head too. Absolutely disgusting, I'll be going elsewhere, I'd recommend anyone else does too.

Poor communication. Car accident settled instqntly in July 2018. Still awaiting outcome of personal injury claim. No updates, no nothing. Avoid at all costs

Update. Still no response from Compliance team and no payment. Avoid at all costs. Kate Ashcroft has been messing me around. Funny how I keep getting gone away responses. They don't know anything about customer services and their compliance team is a joke

Following a road traffic collision in which my car was hit from behind by a bus in June 2015 I was put in contact with Scott Rees & Co to deal with my claim for compensation for injuries received in the collision.
Despite the process taking 8 months to resolve I found the service I received from Scott Reese most efficient. They maintained frequent and clear communication throughout the process, responding to and answering my emails and queries promptly.
They were clear from the outset with their fee structure and what I could expect to receive in compensation.
Any appointments, medical and physiotherapy services were arranged quickly and in my local area. Overall my I was more than satisfied with the service I received.

Absolutely shocking service! How these guys have not been investigated is beyond me! Currently preparing my file for the SRA. My claim has been delayed for coming up to 2 years, passed from case handler to another, delayed because they missed information that was provided to them at the beginning. Misleading advice, the list goes on! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Useless, took two and a half years to tell me they will not continue with my case, im disabled from a spinal op that went wrong, i have proof from a top spinal surgeon that part of my spine should never have been operated on told me i have a strong case, but oh no scott rees dont want to know, try being in my shoes hearing that, absolute wasre of my time.

I was involved in a car accident January 2016. My case handler was Anjela Nisa.

Anjela was very clear with what her aims were for me and informed me every step of the way by telephone, Email and postal mail.
With my recovery I was happy to settle my compensation.
Anjela settled the claim efficiently in July 2016.

I would highly recommend Scott Rees & Co to anyone in an accident.

We have been waiting for an update on my partner's...

We have been waiting for an update on my partner's case for a year a half which has been given to three different case handlers so far! The communication is very poor and the customer service isn't great when you call in either (they always sound unhelpful and as though they don't have a clue about what's going on). We are constantly calling in to get updates and always get told that the case handler will review the case and get back to us which NEVER happens! My partner is constantly being asked to fill in the same paperwork over and over which just seems like a time wasting method on their part. I find the service we have received and are still receiving quite shocking, I would not recommend this company at all!

I am writing on behalf of my husband who used Diane Bradshaw from Scott Rees after an accident at work. He found Diane to be professional throughout the process, explaining everything in the process as it went along. We were kept informed through emails and phone calls and the time was always taken to answer and questions or concerns we had. The payment we received was higher than we thought we would get and the money's were paid promptly. I cannot recommend Diane highly enough and would definitely use Scott Rees again.

Advised me on processes and terminology on forms etc and got a good result in a reasonable time.

Probably one of the worst law firms in the world. Took over a year just to get my medical records and then eventually decided that they would not take on my case anymore. Wasted a lot of my time as I had to constantly chase after them and also provided fake hope. Avoid at all costs.

Very happy with end result, after a long process. (Made long by defendant denying guilt and dragging out the process only to admit on day at court!!) Would reccomend but be aware some proccess' can take longer because of the other side and not those processing your claim

Would never use them again. Felt like I had to do all the chasing to find out information on my case. Just a source of money to them not got that feeling I was important. It's been nearly 3 years for this claim. Been left with a joke of a settlement. Don't expect a reply. Stay away from this company!!!!!

Scott Rees and Co took on my claim last year when I was injured in a car accident. The process took about 6 months, but I received regular Monthly updates and were always on hand for any questions I had re: Medical treatment etc...
Sarah Ryan was very friendly, knowledgeable and I was 100% confident in her. Would highly recommend.

Very upsetting claim handed horrendously by all. No replies from emails sent, no phone calls back when promised, the rudest staff on the phones. Go somewhere else, I was also informed that when I threatened to leave for someone else I would have to "pay for time" when they have done NOTHING.... I drove to doctors to chase myself.... Furious

Wouldn't use this firm again I'm afraid. They took on my case in March 2017 and I'm still waiting today for my payout even though they have been paid in full from the other side. Their client communications is appalling. They never respond to emails and voicemails. Even their customer complaint dept don't respond and I've contacted them twice during the last year.

Absolute waste of time! My accident occurred in July 2016 and Scott Reece immediately reached out to me (yes, they came to me). I was assigned Gary Milligan to handle my case and I can boldly say he did absolutely NOTHING to help me. My first major issue was when I was constantly having to beg for physio therapy I was entitled to post medical examination that I really needed at the time. He kept telling me he d arrange it but of course never did. The only time I would ever hear from him was if I d send emails asking for updates regarding my case, to which he would always reply with a long draft of text that I never understood. I was made to repeat my claim over and over again as Gary couldn t wrap his head around it for some strange reason. This went on for a whole year and three months. I really wish I was exaggerating but the neglect was remarkable. Today I was informed that my case would be closed due to poor prospects (I assume for Scott Reece). While I can appreciate that it was probably just a business affair on their part, the fact that my well being never mattered to Gary Milligan or to Scott Reece appalls me. I was injured in an accident I know wasn t my fault but to them I didn t deserve justice. They believed my case wouldn t make them any money so they cut me off so abruptly after months and months of back and forth, repetitive communicating. My issue isn t with Scott Reece directly, as I m sure they might have a number of reputable solicitors under them but Gary Milligan certainly isn t one of them. To me he was incredibly unprofessional and he s letting you down BIG TIME!

3 years in, along with 4 different case workers. Radio silence seems to be part of their business plan, as i have regularly gone months with no reply to emails.
Last point of contact I had from my case worker was 30 Nov 2018, its now nearly April 2019 and all my emails have gone unanswered.
On Google i see this is a common occurrence as well.
Really wish i d not used them

Initially I had several members of staff dealing with my account and I did seem to get lost at one point.. The longer recovery time of my injuries made it all seem to drag - but that was nothing to do with Scott Rees.

I was in a road accident in November 2014 (multiple car collision). Scott Rees was introduced to me in April 2015 to help with my injury claim. My case handler Aimee Hill has been excellent with my case. She is thorough and extremely professional. She made sure my injury was looked after and I recover fully. When I recovered almost fully and was happy to settle for compensation, she swiftly settled the case in July 2016. I will recommend Scoot Rees & Co to anyone who is involved in a car accident.

Overall we were very happy with the service and co...

Overall we were very happy with the service and consideration Scott Rees & co gave us. We accepted a settlement offer so ultimately we won. Scott Rees were fair and Paul Harrison and Agne Baublyte in particular were understanding and easy to communicate with. I would have given 4.5 stars though as the first year of the process the case was passed about to different case workers which was frustrating. That said a company cannot always control people leaving etc.
