People are playing 2 machines at the same time on the same game when somebody else want to sit down and play and then you have to wait I do not think that's fair but other than that I like coming there I enjoy myself every time I can and I have not been getting no free play

Decent experience good food great time slots could be a little more forgiving

I love coming here because I grew up more or less right behind Scioto Downs.. I just can't seem to win at all here. I have lost 20 to $30,000 the past year-and-a-half and it's made my life miserable. I keep on thinking just once can I hit something but it never happens

Went for food only and was good. Discounts available if you have a card for the games. Not a fan of destroying lives via gambling though.

Trucker parking around the left side, past the Hampton Inn. The people at the Hampton Inn were nice.

Everything was fine except for the restroom s were discussing.

Didn't hit the casino but went for the races. Betting is super easy. You can sit right at the rail next to the track. It's a really exciting time. I can't wait to get back again.

In town for my sister birthday, from Birmingham Al, my husband wanted to stop in on our way home. He loves to play the horses and dogs. I spent my time in the casino. Loved playing the slots. Will visit again on our next trip.

It was pretty busy and they had clean teams out that cleaned games and seats after people got up. The line was long for the cashier, only two people working but they were patient and friendly. Two of the soda machine were out of ice. Overall, great time.

Don t attempt to make a reservation for The Clubhouse, it is laughable. If this is what will happen with the Caesars merger. It s 2019 you cannot tell me an online reservation system isn t possible. I have left numerous messages.

I like the cheese pizza in the cafe. I've won the last few times I visited

I came here midday for a lunch meeting. The restaurant portion was amazing. The only issue I had was the plate that my meal came out on did not fit my plate lol. Other than that the entire time from the bartender, to the lemonade and atmosphere was awesome. If not for it being a casino, definitely kid friendly as well.

Very clean Casino, there isn't enough wait staff however.

Absolute worst place to work for! I was hired on for a week and the day of my orenitation they told me i would be called about my schedule. I had to call for a week just for the manager at Brew Brother's to give me a schedule. On top of that, the printer was broke when it came to me having my name tag that on my second day i forgot the temporary badge drove 30 mins to work and put up with the rudest security guard at the employee walk in. Also, made me walk to restuarant where I ran into the supervisor. He told me I had two options to go home bring the badge or go home and come in tomorrow. Well, i got home hour later due to traffic on 71. I called until I talked to JOHN the same supervisor he told me it would be complete waste of time if i came back since i was scheduled 5-8 and it was already almost 6:30 and 7 by time i got there. He agreed for me to come in that next day Friday and not forget the card.

I just got a call from HR telling me John and the same manager i made look bad because she couldn't call me about my schedule told HR that i was a no call no shoe and they terminated me. How are you going tell someone one thing then work the situation to your advantage to point to make a hard working mother jobless because you can't do your damn job and make a phone call? Its all good because what you put in the universe you get back.
So for people who lied on me to fit their own agendas its God problem now.

Dont work at this place unless you like rude, mean people who try to make storms.

HR department is cool though thats why they get a 1 star...except for JOHN if thats the same guy.

Waste of time. No flavored coffee creamer and once again no hits.

I really love this place but the comps are not that great...still no host in sight for me or my husband and our president statuses. Never been invited to any outside events. Really sad for the money spent and nothing in return. Meaning the jackpots are lacking....been coming since day #1.......

Other than only having slots and no tables it is great place. Buffet is ok. Service staff is great in hotel and casino.

Cant hit anything there. The machine are way to tight.

El Dorado had a promo for free play up to $2500. Only way they can pay that is by lowering the payouts. Had 16 free spins for $4. Other machines refused to give free spins at all. Only way they can afford hotel, new carpeting is by garbage payouts. One machine $30 and best payout was $2? Seems legit, hell no. Always voted worst casino in Ohio. There's no such thing as a coincidence. My friends thought they had been ripped off and promised never to return. I know I won't. Word of mouth is everything. Warning, if you don't max bet, you will have your money stolen. They favor only those playing max bet. Place is failing, and we know why. Maybe the gaming commission should get involved.

Nice, clean and comfortable Racino... No horse racing going on right now but in the afternoon there was plenty of room in the slots area and the restaurant has a good reputation. Free soda/drink stations around the casino

There's lots of slots in Las Vegas, but I bet the El Dorado is close.

Machines have been super tight since opening back up. Last year I won many jackpots while spending less than I have lately. I'm a presidents club card holder and my free play has steadily decreased while the money i've spent has increased. I go to scioto because it's closer to where I live, but I'll be seeing what hollywood has to offer for a while. I'm giving 2 stars because Brew Brothers is delicous and any business that associates with a place like that at least deserves some credit.

Never win. They take your money but don't give any back so you can at least stay awhile and have some fun. Very stressful.

If you're a veteran or military dependent, don't waste your time. I went with my mother last night and tried to get a loyalty card and was told that they would not accept my "commissary card." (What is a commissary card, I have no idea.) I tried to explain to her that this is a MIILTARY ID, not a commissary card, but the girl just had no idea what she was looking at. She gave me her name (Dawn) and a number of someone who wouldn't even be in the office until the next day.

I spoke to Vince (not sure which department he works in) and he spent several minutes getting it double checked with the Ohio Lottery folks and came back and said it was fine, go ahead and grab my loyalty card at the guest services.

Guest services did not get the message, because they asked me if it was given the okay and they were still dragging their feet. All of this for a military ID? I've never had problems getting it accepted anywhere. No thanks, I say, I don't have time to sit and deal with this. We spent the money we brought and decided not to come back.

Today I call them again because I'm still simmering a little bit over not being allowed to use my military ID, and I ask the person I am speaking to (supposedly a supervisor) if this is the same person I spoke to the night before. She says no, there was no supervisor last night, but her voice sounds familiar. In hindsight, it should have been obvious at that point she was lying because one should not have to recall if there was a supervisor on shift the night before in order to remember if she was working then. She tells me under no uncertain terms that they DO NOT accept military IDs for their loyalty card program. Cut and dry. Doesn't happen At this point, they have been given the go ahead by the folks in the Ohio Lottery office and I'm having a hard time imagining them turning away veterans on the regular, but this is what this lady is saying.

So I hang up, grab the paper that I was given with this lady's name on it and sure enough, the name she gave me today was the name written on the paper last night. It was she that I spoke to, and she for some reason decided to lie about it.

At this point I'm stewing pretty good over what just happened. Not only have they been given the clear to use military IDs, but this woman has just decided not to.

Calling the Downs didn't help. No one knew who to transfer me to aside from the same office. I've called twice, talked to the staff several times in an attempt to get this resolved but it's not my job to make sure that this casino follows a uniform set of rules in line with the law. I just won't be back, and if you plan on using a military ID I wouldn't bother going either.

(If you're wondering why the fuss over a loyalty card, let me just mention that one, it's the principle and two, the cards usually have great perks and are totally worth getting.)

The night before, I did get a card from across town at Hollywood no problem, so if you want to avoid the hassle, just go there.

Customer service is horrible...in the old days slot machines boasted 90plus percentage to the player...now i believe its 90 plus percentage to the casino...everything that the casino sells is ridiculously expensive IE: pack of cigarettes 9.00$..shot of bottom shelf whisky 9.00$...ect ect ect!!

Ate at the buffet and won some money. Very clean place. Lots of machines, but no tables.

I'm really tired of all the changes at this casino! It's not the same since the several changes in management! I have been coming since it opened, and tired of spending hundreds of dollars and get nothing in return! It sucks and it's wack. They play the same music CD everyday all day. I wouldn't tell anyone to come here that I like. All the machines are down, putting in new carpet,quit focusing on the look and get machines that will let you win. All the change machines are always down, the bathrooms are nasty always. This place sucks, oh I said that already! Y'all need to get it together. Making Columbus look bad. Of course they let new people win, so they can come back! Wake up people!

Lost my money! Think the machines are rigged but the drink girl made up for it by taking me to the back room and giving some of the best I ever had very attractive and was really tight and clean inside so all and all I came out Happy twice or came then left with a smile on my face

I've been a regular there since they opened. The staff is always remarkable, but the machines are aging and payouts have dropped substantially since they first opened. It seems like free play has also gone down somewhat. The food is good, however the buffet could do with improvements. Dash Cafe is convenient, but extremely over priced for what they have. You will pay $6 or more for a coffee drink!

They opened a new smoking section this week and it is nice enough, but many of the machines were down on opening night. I've also noticed that many machines are also down in the other smoking sections and the games are old. I expected the new section to have many new games. There were some, but mainly $1 games and up. They didn't have enough good penny machines and too many were down. Embarrassing for an opening in my opinion.

They are making improvements in the casino itself, but could improve many things like dirty restrooms.

Sorry I didn't have more good things to say, but I will give them some time to fix things.

Better than Hollywood Columbus. Nice buffet, not huge. Play was fair. Parking, access was easy.

Had a great time with friends, just can't seem to win anything anymore.

Sad to see this place used to be ok. Seems the payouts are getting worse with time. Hopefully the commisioner will visit all Ohio casino's because they're definetely not paying quite often enough!

I give this racino 5 stars because sometimes I would rather be at a quieter and calm location. Hollywood casino does also draw an older crowd but tends to be younger and louder. As long as dodging jazzy chairs and oxygen bottles does not bother you then this is your place.

Had a great time losing my money but will be returning
