I have shopped at Schnucks on and off.
Before the pandemic I would find EXPIRED by MONTHS and sometimes days Sale Items.
I would kindly bring the items up to management. I have asked for a substitute on several occasions to NO avail would management budge. I was offered a rain check last year I checked weekly my rain check expired.
Today I went in to do some grocery shopping for the kids for school. I did not see in tiny print the limit. The sales paper that came in the Mid Week sales flyers does NOT have a limit! I bought 1 of each kind for my 6 kids. I was in the store almost 2 hours before checking out. The lunchables were 2nd to 3rd items I grabbed. They were out of the refrigerated area for over 1 1/2 hours! A member of management came up to take over she felt them with her hands said they are fine to go back ignoring the rest of my purchase! I had to ask several times for the rest of the items I wanted to buy. There is No reason for a customer to beg to buy something.

This store has ignorant staff.
I prefer to drive over to Carbondale to shop or Clarksville TN to shop at the 3 PUBLIX stores and COSTCO in Kentucky.
This store is horrible with its Un chilled and expired meats.
What else is done to inventory that is not seen?!

Good store. I do miss having coffee at all the stores like you used to have. No other store sells fat-free cheese than you do. But sadly, hate to say it, but some songs I hear played at times are not suitable for families with small children. There is a law on the books that songs with sexual explicit content is banned from being played in public places. I would like for you to play a few classical pieces by Beethoven or Mozart.

Disappointed with my cross keys Schnucks store in the handling of a double checked item. Instead of the customer service personnel expressing, I m so sorry for your inconvenience, she was more concerned that I did not have the credit card that the item was purchased with. That followed a stern warning. Very disappointing.

Today I went to the schnucks at Gravios Bluffs, upon having difficulties at the self check out the assistant called for help. Amanda came to help. At this point I had been there waiting for about 20 minutes. Amanda did not handle an irrate customer well. I believe more customer service training is necessary. To treat an irrate customer with rudeness is not good customer service. I have had similar problems in the past with this store. Perhaps customer service training would be a good idea. I also noticed the 2.4 rating and wonder if this may be a necessary training point. We will no longer shop at Schnucks after the manage told us to leave. I do have video.

I called to have one of my prescriptions transferred over to there because the GoodRx coupon I had for Schnucks made it much cheaper than my current pharmacy.
I was very frank when giving her my info, and told her my reason (that it was cheaper) over the phone. It did not affect her polite helpfulness one bit!
She even pulled up the coupon on her end and let me prepay over the phone so that I could have it picked up for me. Either one of those actions would have been above and beyond what's required of her, but she offered BOTH of them to me while we were talking.
Bravo, Laura! And Bravo to whoever hired her!
She is truly an asset!

I've been shopping at the Schnucks location on Vogel Road in Arnold for many years. The store is always clean (even during current renovations!), shelves stocked and organized, and more importantly, the team members are engaged, professional and happy to assist at any given opportunity. I've seen the same employees for years, which leads me to believe turnover is low. When turnover is low, the environment must be one in which people are happy. Kudos to the leadership team in this store for seemingly caring about their employees and customer base.

Something needs to be done in your deli departments. Sliced meats...turkey, ham, etc....does not stay fresh more than 2 days when I buy it. I will have to get deli items from Dierbergs. Their ham, etc. is still fresh after 5 days or more.

Since I see people ranting I need to tell you how much I love your store in Centralia! Clean, always polite, and helpful. This evening Belinda and Sylvia were so polite and patient. I had problems with the rewards, they walked me through it. I got a 10 for 10 item and it was the wrong size. Sylvia took the other back and got what I needed with a smile. Belinda removed it from my ticket no problem. Thank you for the kindness! This is what customer service is about! Great example Centralia Illinois!

The Washington Missouri location is poorly managed, the employees are rude. Plus they sell rotten meat. I m done with Schnucks. I will buy meat from my local butcher, it might cost more but it will not be rotten. Schnucks should just call it quits if they are going to run their business like this. Friendliest stores in town. What a joke!!

Several times my client has reported discrimination against her and her accommodations by a Tommy Ayers. My client needs a service dog to function. And I have seen how he reacts and doesn t react to her. Several times my client has also reported theft of her food that is medically necessary please take care of your employees and tell them theft is not allowed and they shouldn t be eaten other peoples food. Theft is theft even if it s paid for. My client is not rich and depends on food stamps.
