I had multiple family deaths while attending. The school (Ashford) was extremely unaccommodating, forced me to finish the semester, and proceeded charge me over $1,000 for not enrolling in future classes-even after expressing it being due in to poor mental health. If I could rate worse I would

I left GCU because of an absolutely horrendous experience. I transferred to UAGC in January of 21. I graduate in October of 21 with my BA. I took concurrent courses and wrote PLA essays in order to finish in a short amount of time. It has been an amazing experience. My advisor was so wonderful to work with. She was encouraging and supportive and got back to me quickly. Online school is not for everyone. It takes a lot of self discipline. I will be rolling right into my MA at UAGC. Thanks for the experience and education! I've learned a lot through rigorous and challenging curriculum.
Bottom line STAY AWAY! Every since they changed names they have become a FINANCIAL TRAP!
This school is like a cult once you are in its no way out UNLESS you leave with a thousand dollars balance! This schools needs to be reported to the dpt of education.
Don t get caught in the trap of this school. Your credit score and peace of mind will thank you.
I am a retired Criminal Justice professional and I felt the curriculum was a challenge. To clarify, it presented me with additional tools to use on the job evaluating certain situations, crime scenes, and methods to manage resources in a manner unfamiliar to me. It helped me to fine tune my existing knowledge stores and added additional skills/information etc., that I could use immediately.
The materials and quality of teacher/instructor's was great. I received most, if not all-by the end of the degree, of my materials via e-version and they were fantastic. I loved the experience.
They get the one star due to the financial team. It was a horrible experience with my last year. They didn t file my financial aid for 8 mths then it was a mess from there. I finished my online courses and then called found out I had a balance paid it told I was zero. Then I called a few weeks later to find out another balance on my account. Paid it. Don t with this place and will never go back here.
Horrible Service They never get back to you in a decent time frame and the staff is not nice at all they refuse to work with you and they kept a secret that the school name change and the old staff was leaving
I don t appreciate this horrible school calling me when they caused me to leave I will file a harassment lawsuit I need you all to delete my number. It s wrong you call me daily for a unknown debt but could not get back to me when I needed it. I would not recommend anyone to attend this college
There are ups and downs at any establishment. Bad experiences are expected, with anything. What makes a difference is that there are people in the establishment willing to help. People that truly care about students success. As for me, my advisors and instructors have always been supportive, caring and easy to contact. There is effort required on our part as a student, as most of Ashford is online. When the effort comes from me as a student, I have always been met half way with someone willing to help me every step of the way! Special thanks to my Enrollment Services Advisor Greg Keogh. Always available, polite, informative, and I always feel like he cares, he cares. If i make the initiative to succeed, he matches me 100 percent! Thanks Ashford!
