Called Schmidt Kramer because of a motorcycle accident involving a distracted driver that struck me as I went by causing very serious injuries to me. The lawyer that began my case left the firm for another position and I was handed over to another lawyer, Abbie Trone, who took over my case. I had a choice to settle or go to court. My lawyer then met with her team to discuss the trial option which was taken off the table by them. So, I settled. It s hard to put a dollar amount everything that I went through, traumatic brain injury, being laid-up for several months and whatever else was involved. The settlement covered lawyer fees and a portion of my hospital bills leaving me with a small amount in comparison to what I endured.
