The location is perfect, but the staff was very rude, the room not clean, never again.

You felt welcome. Genuine Friendly staff. Good hearty breakfast. A neat room, and got a bigger room than was busy, a nice surprise. Good location.

Excellent service, very good food and the room with an innovative decoration.

A good hotel with good food, a sauna (which was not very warm), and even a swimming pool, where you can see great views. Almost everything is close and easy to move from one place to another. Yes, I would love that the hotel would not be so in the center.

The room looked a bit used, but the people were friendly and professional. The services were adequate.

Air conditioning did not work in the room throughout the 3 night stay and could not be operated despite the request. The sauna department catastrophically packed with young children, maybe you should also give adults their own turn for the rest of the evening.

Perfectly located in the heart of Helsinki. Room spacious and comfortable.
Only downside a large influx that makes access to lifts very difficult: the pool is in the 9th and the gym in the 3rd

Location is personally good because it is a short walk from the tram station. There are no shops around, but there is a park where you can take a walk.

Impression that room is stylish by Scandinavian design. Although it is late at midnight temporarily, WIFI is basically connected. On the other hand, the amenities are poor and only towels and provided soaps. Are there no accessories such as toothbrushes and razors, and no service water for this class of hotel?

The quality of the staff is high.

Breakfast is great, rooms are very nice,warm and that's it the rest is ok.

Booking was wrong , had to spend an hour to get correct rooms. New room do not have a function shower drain. Restaurant could not fit out party even though we were well before colsing time and there were plenty of seats.
Overall a very disapointing stay for beeing a scandic hotell.

Good hotel, good breakfasts, these are the pluses, of the minuses is a cold women's sauna !? (everything was ok in the man s room) and in the family room, 2 rooms were locked, so all 4 beds were small in the room, is it saving such an area or what !!! ???

Upon checking in the room appeared not to be clean. Asked for a different room. We had to wait 2.5 hours. Bad start ..
The hotel is opposite a nice park .... but not in a nice neighborhood. Close to public transportation. Also easily accessible with the Finair shuttle bus.

Perfect for a city trip to Helsinki! Conveniently located, only 3 stations by tram or about 1000 meters walk to the center. Great breakfast buffet, where it - even if it is full - delicious and well-mannered. There is a playroom for children plus a large selection of gluten-free and lactose-free products. Nice service, great view over the city if you get high enough and on the right side a room. Swimming pool not used, but there is. Reception open 24 hours. Small shop and really good restaurant + bar in the house. Try the burger, my company was thrilled!

Nice hotel, there is a pool, gym. Breakfast starts from 5-30 in the morning. Very convenient for departing early in the morning.

Dirty and negligent staff



Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It is disgusting to find such an attitude towards guests in a Helsinki hotel.

Good location near the lake, nice breakfast and room size

Good location, it was quite clean and the reception and other stuff worked well.
Due to the parking garage 1 star off, otherwise 4 stars.
The parking garage was really cramped, in addition to the strong smell of the sewer, which came inside the car.

Very practically located. A contemporary franchise hotel with lots of services, great breakfast, restaurant... Staff could do with better training...

Great hotel and really good service. The crew of the respa deserves a full ten. Rooms are tastefully decorated and have a homely feel. I strongly recommend that you try!

could not put the bathroom light out could not turn off air condition (it was freezing) everything in the hot breakfast was cold it was like a works canteen would not stay there again

Rooms were dirty, it was neither sucked nor tidy made the bathroom. The bed still had hair from its predecessors, the floor was constantly dirty (crumbs, hair, dust).
Single-layer toilet paper does not work !!!
No or only broken climate - because of the heat you would have to open the window, but then due to the noise from the street to sleep was not thinkable.
At breakfast worn / dirty chairs, overstrained staff and carelessly prepared cold cuts.
2 stars only because of the location, tram stop in front of the door and even if you walk is very fast in the center. That was the only positive thing.

Affordable hotel in close to t city center. In the terms of the room it depends which one you receive. There are very nice renewed rooms, but also some quite old and and not so modern. During all my wisits the room were clean. In the hotel is available sauna and the pool. In the evening is opened bar.

Very comfortable hotel kept clean and nicely refurbished recently. The breakfast was good and extensive. The rooms are comfortable, my superior room had a great view. The area in general is very expensive and the hotel is no exception. I was not impressed with the service on the evening that I ate in the restaurant.

Good central location. Easy reach from airport via airport bus. 20 mins stroll into town via a park. Trams stop outside .my wife Being coeliac, eating in the hotel was simple. Everything is clearly marked with a g. Breakfast was a buffet and I didn't feel worried. The hotel also had a separate gluten free section for cereals bread, crackers biscuits including a toaster for gf. Hotel ticked the boxes.
Housekeeping could do better , found jewellery box behind curtains on our third day in that room

Payed over 3k for 2 rooms, 10 nights. Parking was extra (another 200+ bucks for one car in a tiny, smelly garage with very narrow spaces), the pool is very small and quite cold, also, the ceiling was falling apart! The advertised terrace was simply locked. In the room were crumbs on the carpet and fluff in the corners from day one on and got removed after 7 (seven!!!) Days. The minibar was only refilled every few days, so was the tea buffet. The waiter at the restaurant greeted us with "hi guys". Bicycles for hire had little to no air in the tubes, got the only one with enough air to ride it, saddle was falling apart and turning around freely, no bell, only one break (coaster!!!). Breakfast was ok but very crowded, no matzer if 5.30 or 8.00. Not at all worth four stars, not worth the price we payed.

Lovely and helpful host. The location is a bit far from the city especially in the bitterly cold.

Room was comfortable, modern and well furnished. Sheets were fresh. Bathroom floor gets overrun with water from the shower easily. Breakfast buffet has a good spread of warm food, cold cuts, breads, fruits, cereal and yougurt. Close proximity to good Italian and Japanese restaurants. Easy to get to by tram (no.4) from the city centre.

Instead of a mini-bar, a fallen sandwich lay in the fridge, for some reason they laid out the 3rd bed, although they booked for two, the cleanliness of the room was acceptable, except for the windows, saunas and the pool, nothing was cold, the jacuzzi did not work , none of this took advantage. Parking at the hotel is paid - 26 euros. Breakfast is not bad, but due to the large number of people it is difficult to find a place to sit. There are only 6 free bikes and they are always busy. His money is absolutely not worth it.

There is dryer and facilities are solid.
It's a little away from the center, but it's not a walkable distance.

Great hotel only a short tram ride into the centre of the city. We stayed 10 days & would recommend this hotel & stay there again.

Price-quality ok. Log in moderately fast. Room clean, spacious and quiet. Positioning good and affordable.

Breakfast really congested. The hotel had holiday families with children and spending it on. Meeting room covered breakfast which was not particularly cozy.

There might be a bit of investment in gluten-free products. Only the glut.the fresh bread was delicious! Others were dry industrial products. Bread crumbs were found everywhere so it is not safe to eat yoghurt, cold cuts etc.

There is no particular inconvenience. Very quiet and calm. As there is a tram stop nearby, transportation is good. There are many types of bread for breakfast. The room is neither good nor bad.

The beds were so squiky that you woke up when changed position while sleeping. Breakfast was great and location also.

Large and clean rooms, the right buffet, is about 20 minutes walk from the Plaza del Senado

First you queue up in the long queue in the hot lobby .. and finally when you get to the counter you will hear that the room cleaning is not complete. And not while waiting for the cleaners to do their job. So you should not rely on the check-in time at 3pm. Well received in compensation for a cup of hot chocolate :)
