Super hotel. Friendly staff, you can have a delicious dinner, nice and extensive breakfast. I am not used to Van der Valk!

Beautiful location, breakfast is very extensive and for someone like me with gluten and lactose intolerance very nice. Rooms top and clean. Staff friendly.

Wonderful weekend in Antwerp.
Stay overnight at van der valk.
As usual, it is good to stay with the Toucan.
Note that despite the fact that the room was nicely clean.
An update is desirable in particular the bathroom, showering in the way too small bath is no longer of this time.

My wife and I had a great time at the Van der Valk hotel, I called for some info about the renovation that was going on, because we received an email about it, and my question to the hotel was whether my wife was just with her mobility scooter could come out of it. The answer was positive and we were immediately offered a special room that is great they stand in for the guest. thank us two and hope to see you soon Kick & Marian Zoetermeer 10 -6 - 2019

Very friendly staff, great food and close to the tram stop to go to the city. In short, highly recommended!

Not so good to judge, is in the renovation of the rooms. We had one that was already finished, it was beautiful. Only the corridor was not yet finished. Showers at the swimming pool (not from the sauna) and swimming pool itself are due for a renovation. Furthermore, just and friendly staff. Period is end of Jan 2020.

Top hotel, nice room, But the Pool was not the Best. The color was green.

Friendly staff, nothing was too much if you asked for something ...
nice rooms, good food in a cozy restaurant. One point, ask for a room at the back, then you won't hear the street noise.

Bad Hygienne bedding where blood still remains in it. Rooms are very dated and dinner is also not feeling what I'm very sorry accustomed to the Valks!

The rooms and hallways are being renovated.
Although we really liked the "old" rooms.
Nice and spacious too.
The people who work there are all equally friendly and spontaneous.
The live and cooking buffet was really great, as were the breakfast and dinner, and the cocktails in the bar, served with fresh popcorn.

However, we found the sky-high prices on the dinner menu and bar menu.
You pay almost half more for dinner and 1/4 more for drinks.
This in contrast to the Dutch van der Valks.

Plus point, you can buy a day ticket and a 10-strip ticket for the tram at the reception.

The tram is located at Joe Englisch with tram 24 you are in the heart of Antwerp in no time.

Tip ; Chocolate nation antwerp (chocolate museum)

Nice bar and restaurant. Very friendly helpful staff. Hotel rooms will be renovated this year, which is very necessary.

Very unfriendly staff, they make you feel like they are paying you to eat there. The food is not good at all for the prices. The coffee was ok though !

Quite a lot of noise and yet a considerable price tag

More such hotels in Europe. Price and quality at 5 out of 5, service at the height. The rooms are clean and bright, cleaned for 5 out of 5, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. I recommend the hotel for an average budget tourist or people who go on business trips. Of all the hotels of this category in Antwerp, this is the best.
