You should have seen this house, better an event.
A must for culture enthusiasts and a must for visitors.
We had booked "The Nutcracker" and were 4th in the "luggage network" for 33.- . An unforgettable experience.
The 2 hours went by in a flash.
Air-conditioned and well-upholstered chairs in the top row made the visit an experience.
Here too the drinks at a high price, but you don't have to.
100% recommendable and repeat.

As part of the long night of the theater I was in the Semperoper. So I just enjoyed a small tasting on Saturday night. It is always a nice experience to enjoy the atmosphere

We had wanted to see the Semper Opera from the inside for a long time. We had come very early to see the opera in peace. To be honest, the house looks bigger and more grand on television. We liked the atmosphere anyway.

The 9th symphony concert by the Saxon State Orchestra left us with a mixed impression: We had our difficulties with Luciano Berio's Sinfonia , everything sounded very experimental and often disharmonious.
In contrast, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 was a delight for all the senses!

Beautiful German opera building build in 1871-1878 but rebuild in 1952-1985 because during the massive attack on Dresden on February 13-14 1944 the building was completely destroyed by American-British bombs.

The Semperoper is very handsome and should definitely be visited during a visit to Dresden. Recommendation: Instead of just a visit, I recommend the visit, for example. a chamber concert; during the break you can then visit the building from the inside.

Also one of the worth seeing destinations in Dresden, next to the Zwinger. I was lucky enough to be able to attend an opera performance and was impressed. The Semperoper needs in my opinion a comparison with the Vienna State Opera not to shy!

At first I was surprised how dark the stones were. In pictures, the opera looks much lighter. Otherwise Dresden is worth a trip beautiful buildings, very chilled, although many tourists. Many museums have good food and the prices are moderately not overpriced.

Were on a tour of the opera. Somewhat disappointed. For 12 euros per person we were shown only the lobby and hall. What an ordinary visitor sees. No backstage. Boredom. And they told only general information about the opera, which are in any guidebook or on the Internet. Do not go there on the tour. It is better to attend the show right away. The opera itself, of course beautiful. In the Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden, we took almost a soloist s toilets for a tour in 1.5 hours.

As is so often the case, there is no longer a total work of art in the Semper Opera. La Forza del Destino has a good direction / stage concept but orchestras and men's roles seem overwhelmed and arbitrary.

We didn't have to wait to speak of. The guide was great, partly difficult to understand due to the dialect, but also very authentic and I don't think you have to say much about the opera itself. Should be seen!

Semperoper is great. You can visit it. The ticket price is 11 EUR, if you want to take photos you have to pay 3 EUR extra.

A very beautiful building, which is definitely worth visiting. Even if it is only from the outside. The distribution of the music in the hall where it is performed is very good. You can hear well everywhere. If you are interested, you can see the orchestra from above.

I was allowed to look behind the scenes 2000 times, so admire the technology with one of the stage builders ... what is there behind it all and that for a hundred years ... wow

Semper2, very good performance by Cabaret. Staff unfortunately not very nice, leave about 30 visitors in front of the door in the pouring rain, just because the time is not yet. Inside, at least down, but everything ready and "busy" walking around the staff. Customer friendliness looks different.

You also have to see them from the inside and have experienced a performance live.
