Very interesting. Did the leadership and learned a lot about the history of the opera.
The tour of a lady was really nice. If you ever visited Dresden should not be missing the Semper Opera. The prices for the guide are in my opinion still acceptable. 11 per adult for about 1 hour.
I definitely recommend the guide.

To whom it may concern,

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to tell you that I attended this theatre on May 11 to see LE NOZZE DI FIGARO .
I know there is a trend to modernize opera versions which were written over 200 years ago, but I find it inappropriate to add scenes that are thought by the author or to modify the musical score, especially in such an important theatre as this one, that saw the performances of great stars like Karl Maria Von Weber, Richard Wagner, Richard Straus, to mention but a few. I think that if the stage manager and the orchestral director trust on their skills to modify a piece of art, they should create their own and see if theirs becomes as successful as Mozart s.
In my opinion, it would be more honest to advertise a free version of the opera in order not to lure unwary people like me, who in good faith wish to see the original piece.
Yours faithfully.

As part of the short trip to Dresden, in early November, a visit to the Semperoper was on the program. During the day the visit from outside, in the evening we enjoyed the opera "Tosca". An unforgettable experience. Visiting the Semperoper is a MUST!

The symbol of an opera! At least for me. I recommend everyone to take a tour. A lot of interesting details have been told that gave a new look at the building.
A visit to an event is also highly recommended.

The elaborately built and restored Semperoper is very beautiful. The good acoustics can only be guessed during the tour without a concert. It definitely makes you want to book a performance.

Beautiful building with excellent acoustics. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. During the breaks you will find on the outer balconies several smashed champagne glasses from the performance the evening before. One must be careful not to step into the pieces. The entire concert hall begins to stink after 3 hours, as neither the upholstery nor the ventilation or the hall are properly and regularly cleaned. Unfortunately, the singers have only provincial quality, world class or European class can not be found. Summary: rundown opera house in the province. A single visit is worthwhile, repeated visits are increasingly unpleasant because of the miserable management (see above) and more of a plague as the flaws increasingly emerge and cover the positive first impression.

It is a very nice and well-made house. The Semperoper should be seen as a tour or in a performance. The staff is very nice and helpful and also friendly. We were to an idea it was a completely successful evening. Have fun

The Semperoper is always worth a visit. Also today's guest performance "Westside Story" can be recommended. The German translation is done electronically and who is dependent on it, the rank is recommended. So you can follow the action well on stage and still read the text.

The prices are high, but the quality too. If you are not afraid of heights or want to combine your visit to the opera with the first therapeutic confrontations, you are in good hands in the 4th rank in the middle, row 2. There you can also hear a lyrical tenor, who takes the first steps on the Wagner stage (Mr A. from B.), completely flawless.

For years I've been touring the Semperoper and unfortunately I have to say that many visitors dress inappropriately. Many clap between sentences and as soon as the music pauses for a moment. Bad that this is so, it shows the dimension of missing education. Maybe these people should be informed in advance how to behave in the opera. The note to turn off the cell phones, it seems, unfortunately, too need.

Tourist attraction that you should have seen. All around very good dining facilities and other things that you should see as a tourist. Everything is good and within walking distance. Car can be parked, but usually costs.

If the weather had played a bit better it would have been much more beautiful for the physical well-being was super worried, however, the whole audience was disappointed as it said Andreas Gabalier does not come out everyone thought to see again briefly and from him to they've heard that in the rain for so long

The Semperoper is really great. Definitely worth a visit.
Strangely enough, Google thinks I should write a review even though I haven't been there for a while. I only played Ingress at the Zwinger and the Opernplatz: D
