Great hotel, super nice and attentive staff. The rooms are nicely decorated and are cleaned twice a day. The breakfast is huge. We felt very comfortable. This will not be our last stay in a Savoy hotel. :-)

My husband and I stayed 14 nights here and were very impressed. The service was good and the room we had was spacious, very tastefully decorated and had a full size ensuite bathroom with shower and free standing bath with his and hers basins. L'occitane miniatures were supplied and regularly topped up. We loved the design of the ensuite as it had two dark wood sliding door entrances. Inside the ensuite there was also a wardrobe area with open shelving, safe, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers plenty of hanging space and drawers. Plenty of fresh towels and mats were provided daily if you wished. There was a mini fridge and kettle with teabags provided and two small bottles of complimentary water were provided daily. The bed was king-size and very comfortable. A good size flat screen TV with a good selection of channels in English, French and German to watch.
There was also a console table below the tv, a small dining table a two chairs and a small sofa and coffee table in the room. The best feature we thought was the patio area outside, with comfy sofa and table. We were on the ground floor and got a marvellous garden view of lovely well kept plants, the pool was literally 10 steps away and we could hear the waves crashing from the beach which was 2 minutes walk away. We had ordered dinner from room service the first night as we were so tired after our long flight from the UK and the food and service was great. Breakfast was buffet style daily between 7 - 10am and the choice on offer was staggering and pretty good quality. Staff service was very attentive too. We didn't really get bored of the food the 2 weeks we were here as they did rotate some of the selection daily
We ate at the Gecko bar a couple of times it was more a casual place (and right in front of the beach) the cocktails were very good and food was too.
You also get complimentary towels (exchange card token for them by the pool) daily which you can use at the pool loungers, on the beach or on excursions (just return them by 7pm and you get your card token back for the next day for fresh towels). Now we didn't find out until abit later, but this hotel also has complimentary sun loungers for guests to use on the beach! They are laid out daily on the beach front just as you walk out and you just put your Savoy towel onto any free lounger. If there are none you can ask the pool boy who is there on the steps nearby to put out more. If you walk down the boulevard abit there are stalls selling food and clothing and souvenirs. The food is pretty decent and much cheaper then the restaurants if you want to save money as the restaurants are not cheap due to everything being imported. There is a market every Wednesday where it gets abit buzzier and alot more stalls appear. We even saw a impressive fire performer in the evening!
We would definitely recommend this hotel for a long stay as everything we needed was provided for and more. Nothing was too much of a problem for staff, the grounds are lovely. We would stay here again no doubt!

Very nice hotel outside with a magnificent swimming pool.
However, the rooms do not reflect the high standard and do not deserve its 5 stars.
Dilapidated furniture, dirty armchairs, moldy odors and this as soon as you get into the elevator
Hotel run by Russians and you feel that money matters more than the well-being of its customers.
Pity

The ocean view is not great but otherwise, it is a nice and cozy place to stay. Compared to the other 5 star hotels which I have stayed in, the variety and flavor of the breakfast served here stands out. The swimming pool is good and so are the amenities present in the room. The staff was friendly and the customer service was swift. The resort lies on the Beau vallon beach but the beach is not great at least when compared to beaches in Praslin or La Digue.

We did enjoy the champagne at breakfasts; but wished the variety was more and the cuisines changed from day to day. Our room was absolutely lovely, corner suit. The hotel is ten feet away from the public beach, but it is a public beach. So consider if you would like a quiet hotel with a private beach or if you want something more lively . (The location is good to walk around and see the busy touristic street and restaurants around. Found really good once s there).

Celebrating my 50th Birthday here. The staff are wonderful exceptionally friendly and provide fantastic service whether in any of the restaurants, by the pool, in reception, to the security staff, grounds personnel and house keeping. All I can say is amazing place, so relaxing. Off to the spa later today for a massage.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a week and it was great. When we first arrived, we were seated and got given fresh juice and a cool face cloth to freshen up. We explained to the staff that our luggage hadn t arrived and they were more than willing to help out with anything, they even provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste. We then got given a tour of the hotel in a golf buggy and escorted to our room. The room was spacious and great; the bathroom had a lovely bath tub and a walk in shower with a dressing area which definitely met our needs. The room had a mini bar and a kettle which definitely came in handy. It also has an iron/ironing board and a little dining table to eat dinner on. It has a sofa and coffee table. There s also a lot of storage space. We were on the ground floor and as soon as we walked out of our balcony area, it leased towards the pool which was convenient for us. The hotel itself is so grand and beautiful, definitely looks like a 5*! The hotel has plenty of onsite restaurants and bars, personally we found these very pricey but the food was good. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us at all times. We had access to the buffet breakfast every morning and it was fab, there was so much variety and my favourite was the fresh mango juice. Beau Vallon beach was just right outside the hotel and it was a beautiful beach. There are also shops within the hotel where you can buy pretty much anything. The hotel had a spa, unfortunately we didn t get a chance to visit the spa but it looked great. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

In love with the hotel pool was nice and deep and it was quite big with lots of area to swim around in. Great location as at the right of the back of the hotel is the beach. Great to go at sunset to the beach, before hand go to the pool swim and have a cocktail (if old enough). The street food in the surround area is alright could be better. Make sure to the jet skies while you are there and also maybe one of those day trips around the island, defiantly worth it.

We stayed at the Savoy Resort for a whole week during July. The place is very clean and organized, staff are helpful, sometimes a little pushy trying to sell guests excursions and activities.
My wife tried the deep tissue massage and enjoyed it very much.
The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach.
Like all the Seychelles, the beach is public, but since it's at the border of the resort, they offer chairs and loungers as well as a full bar service.
Free wifi covers all the resort including the swimming pool area and the beachs outside.
I recommend this resort to families with kids

It is a beautiful property with brilliant staff on ground. It is 20 min drive from Mahe Airport and they provide airport pickup/ drop off at a decent price. The property is right on beach shore. It has Grand Savoy restaurant dor Breakfast and variety of cuisine during the week. Poolside seafood restaurant .. lovely set with drinks and a quick dip. Gecko bar wth the ocean view is perfect for Sheesha, sangria s and margarita s. You can avoid the salads here. There is an Indian Restaurant which is linked to hotel and is 50 m walk from the beach side entrance of property... and the food is amazing.. i used the pool/ spa/ all restaurants.. the service is brilliant and would definitely come back to this property again

First Resort Nightmare

First Resort Nightmare

Since we came from UAE which is presently in a different category due to the covid situation (and we are fully aware with that) we are not allowed to leave the resort for the first 5 days.

1st day we went to the beach and 2nd day the security stopped us and we're not allowed to use the beach too!!
It's been a total nightmare for us specially in this beautiful place and holiday season. I just hope that this issue and rules have been communicated with us before booking so we could've book another resort.

After driving around the whole of Mahe, this is the best beach on the island and there is a little something going on.

Room, we had a simple, super large, bathroom with tub and shower, air conditioning perfect - absolutely loved it.

Another big plus is the restaurant (we had half board) in the open air with a roof, cozy and private and then a fish restaurant by the pool and "burger bar" by the stand - great chill. Food better than expected in such a large one, very diverse, daily moto, something good for every day.

Service very friendly, nice and not intrusive, nice to be pampered.

Fitness studio great, wellness flop, that some of them were really disappointing ... ran away ... well you don't really need it, but it's still a shame.

All in all we will be back, island, water, atmosphere, people, hotel and food my dream.

Great hotel!

Great hotel!
Really good service, good food, very nice rooms, pool, gym, garden.
Everything was amazing, great value for money.

Long chose where exactly to relax in the Seychelles. I am glad that my choice fell on Savoy. For the first time hit the real top five, ranging from food to cleanliness in the rooms. I think they even clean the rooms too often)) I definitely recommend, especially the Russians)

The hotel is modern, clean, the rooms are large (f...

The hotel is modern, clean, the rooms are large (from 45 sq.m.), high-quality and relatively inexpensive food, generally good staff, a beautiful beach right outside the hotel (the hotel provides sun beds and towels), a nice pool, a small but well-equipped gym, well-groomed area (although without its own living creatures), a lot of greenery on the territory.
Regarding the supply of all kinds of shampoos, tea / coffee, change of linen and towels, cleaning the room, there were no problems, sometimes you even get tired of coming to check to see if you need anything else (but the problem is easily solved by hanging out "on the door).
Separately for food: when we arrived, we were unpleasantly surprised at the high prices for food at the hotel (in hotel bars and restaurants), but then, when we studied Mahe and the Seychelles in general, it turned out that Savoy had very reasonable prices and at the same time a full menu. Compared with Savoy in local restaurants there is nothing to eat and the price tag is just horse. Minus Savoy - monotonous breakfasts. Every day at 95 percent for breakfast is the same. Food quality, tasty, nutritious, it is a lot, but very monotonous.
Staff: very different. If migrant workers work (they have seen both Europe and Asia), then everyone is very friendly, trying to help. If local people work, then the attitude is usually cool, most often local people do not even smile, services are provided, as if working out labor service. Often do poor quality and / or not on time. It was a little surprising that not all staff (primarily local) understand French. In English, at least everyone speaks, but the second language of the country knows a minority in the hotel.
Beach: very good. Bo Vallon is one of the best beaches on the island - large, fairly clean, with almost no stones and coral debris in the sea. At the same time, the beach is full of shady places, which, when the sun is standing at the zenith, is extremely important even at the end of the holidays. Water depends on the season and the weather, but in general it is very clear, calm, warm.
Wi-Fi is free, slightly buggy (which is easily solved by reconnection) and finishes to the beach. The speed is normal.
In Savoy there is even a library with 3 computers and a printer, if you suddenly need to print tickets or something else.

The Savoy is a quality hotel. Located in Beauvallon, it shares its beach with public Beauvallon.
The building is a bit masterful. On the scale. The big pool.
The rooms are beautiful and the suites remarkable. The staff is helpful and pleasant.
Unfortunately the restoration is not up to par.
Standard international buffet and rather expensive.
The restaurant Pescado, on reservation is advisable.
Otherwise go out of the hotel, and enjoy the small local restaurants.
The value for money remains interesting.

Beautiful hotel with huge rooms in a good location in Bo and Alon Mahe Seychelles. We got a garden suite that includes a living room and a bedroom, a huge shower, toilet and bath, a walk-in closet, a foyer and a sitting area, with a small refrigerator, plus a large balcony with two seating areas, an exit to a tropical garden and a pool.
Disadvantages: Ornamental pools scattered throughout the hotel are not well maintained and are not properly clean for a hotel of this size. Another thing, we stayed at a hotel during the Corona period and not all places were open.

The hotel is exclusive, beautiful rooms with a terrace. We eat very well and there are dishes for all tastes. The structure is a stone's throw from the sea, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, suitable for walking and sports. The vegetation allows you to stay in the shade all day.

Everything about this resort is superb! The-staff is courteous . Room amenities a plenty. The breakfast buffet is full of cheese variety and bakery. The variety is so much in the breakfast, you get confused , what to eat and what not to eat. The property is connected to a beach . A day can be spent looking around the property and the beach. The property can be accessed with the golf cart provided by the resort. The restaurants in the property also serve reasonable and yummy food .The swimming pool is clean and huge .

It is a great hotel, the rooms are large and comfortably furnished with adjoining spacious bathroom and closet area. A large balcony with couch and table. The service is very good and the staff was very friendly. The outdoor area and the large pool are very well maintained. The food was varied and complex. Beach chairs are available including towels. Drinks service on the beach possible. I can recommend this hotel.

We liked this hotel. Great location on one of the most beautiful beaches Beau Vallon. Our room was very comfortable and lovely with amazing balcony and view. Gorgeous swimming pool with beautiful mosaic. Well maintained green courtyard with pools and small fountains. Breakfasts are nice, good choices, tasty treats and the best manager Daria.
