The prices are very low. But sole of the things they sell should go in a garbage instead of a shop

VV boutique! Love the 50% off days, and not contributing to landfills :)
They have good things and nice clothes, but it s a bit pricey
good place, don't like sorting through the racks though.
Accused of shoplifting and wasnt shoplifting at all
Value Village is always a great place to go to. I always find great clothes there almost new. Basically have to spend a day there though if you want to find the good deals
Clean, very organized, lots of stuff. Great atmosphere!
Store seems kind of chaotic and the prices are pretty silly, especially for used books and clothing.
A little scanty than other locations, like the south location, to be precise. But the clotheslines are a great sight to behold and more harm to your pockets though...
I wish people would donate better stuff or just let me go treasure hunting in their garage. Very rare to find any gams at this location.
This Value Village is really popular so is often picked over but I have found a really great things here . I usually stop here when I'm out thrifting because you just never know what you will find
its alright...its a Value Village, I think they are all kinda the same, it depends on luck of the draw of what you'll find really.
Good place. Friendly staff. But NO PUBLIC WASHROOM. That's a big no no specially when it -30 outside. Other than that Overall it's good. Staff is helpfull. Sometimes u find very good stuff here. U just need to look carefully.
This is my favorite VV in the city. There are always lots of weird and wonderful items to be found, especially in the t-shirt area. Also, the lamp area is bomb too, if that's your thing. Yesterday I bought nice glass coffee table for 20 Bux. Viva la Value Village!
The selection of clothing available was very wide and had a lot of great brands, Volcom, Burton, North Face etc. Not mention the organization and cleanliness was amazing. I absolutely love this place.
Still not sure how this is a business... I give you my garbage, you slap a price on it, people buy said garbage.
They sell the gravel from the parking lot...
I love all Value Villages! This one is good for clothes sometimes, but more often for household goods and appliances/furniture... random stuff. I found a set of three floating shelves in mint condition for 6 bucks. Bought similar ones at Wal-Mart the week before for almost 30.
Jewelers too, an odd amount of silver and other quite nice stuff in the cases up front.
Store was organized and tidy for the most part. Customer service was good
I read Love and appreciate this Value Village! The staff are approachable and the management is one of the best in the city, in my opinion. They even helped me find my phone that was stolen!! They truly care about customers; as long as they are treated the same.
I know that the prices have gone up at VV and it is annoying. That's what happens when a company wants to pay their staff and keep the store running. If you don't like the price, then the garment isn't for you. Somebody might come along and be OK with paying that much. Everything is relative.
I have found unbelievable treasure here, designer treasures! Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Kenzo, Aritzia, Vintage Fendi, Dior and tons of Comme des Garcon tees!!
BE PREPARED TO SPENT TIME HERE!! At least 2 hours to really get down and dirty!!
VV Whyte Ave will always have my heart and my business.
A little picked over, over priced, inattentive staff, good location
Was buying over $100 worth of clothing me and my partner were walking all of a sudden a lady with long black hair in her 50s -70s (a employee ) hit my girlfriend with a shopping cart and said well move out of my way. My girlfriend suffers from fibromialgya this caused her physical pain. We approached management and notified her of the incident, she seem to not care. We will not be shopping at this location again because of her.
Have shopped at many value villages lately. This one has a horrible parking lot to park in to start off with. Go inside hoping to find some deals. Many many items way over priced. If I can purchase an item brand new for a dollar or two more kind of defeats the purpose of getting a used deal. Staff was not very friendly did only interact with 2 though maybe the others were friendlier. Did find a couple things but nothing compared to some of the other ones I have shopped at due to pricing.
Very good local secondary store. Things are neat and orderly and the staff is friendly.
Goods Finds. Pricier than other thirft stores. American company. Most profit/
Money goes back to US.
Been finding some really good deals lately! Staff are always great here.
the store could a little more leaner with how many staff was working
Wicked products at this location, great deals, a bit of a line up at the cashier's till, unbelievable designer clothes, shoes are sometimes mixed up with other sizes, hard to fine a actual matching pair
Still don't like high prices on second hand clothing making a profit
Found some great pieces at some of the best prices I've found in the city! Definitely more reasonable prices than the 34ave one!
I like this place, we can find very interesting objects at very reasonable prices.
This is a great Value Village is you like thrift shopping. I wouldn't call it a bargain though. Their prices are a bit too high for my liking.
Still not sure how this is a business... I give you my garbage, you slap a price on it, people buy said garbage.
They sell the gravel from the parking lot...
I love Value Village. Duncan and Haley were both extremely helpful.
So affordable! Huge store has an excellent selection of goods. From kitchen items to clothing.
Lots of good finds, prices are too high for the most part.
This location was unclean, under staffed, only one cash register open with over 15 people in line.
Found great stuff i could spend hours in this store
Enjoy shopping here they have good customer service and always help you with what ever your looking for.
It's your usual "mega 2nd-hand store", but their prices have continued to climb over the past 2yrs.
The security guard accused me of shoplifting so I let him look thru my bag and when he found nothing I made him apologize to me in front of the crowd of people he needs to realize not all of us youth are homeless bums
Stinky like old stuff but pleasant service and great seasonal selection for good value price.
The store is at an excellent location, the prices are fairly decent. The finds are lot less hit and more miss. That being said it is what it is; I understand the nature of the business but the location could certainly use a refresh cosmetically however it's a stalwart in the community. It's helped me when I'm down and a lot others as well. I hope it will continue to survive for years to come. I love my neighborhood Value Village, even if my star rating doesn't reflect thusly.
It's a little expensive for Free items they Got for FREE
90% of the clothes are in really good shape. This store is doing a good job of keeping clean and not selling over used clothes.
Apparently cash only. Not the best assortment but way better than goodwill
Excellent selection and great staff I enjoy my shopping every visit to Whyte Ave
Looking for salt and pepper mills.
No luck today
terrible customer service. we called to inquire about keyboards in store, & the lady who picked up told us i can t check for you, & nobody else can. & then transferred us to her manager who rudely told us we have no keyboards thank you goodbye & hung up. they treated us like we were an inconvenience to their job but i m not an expert so i m pretty sure your job in customer service requires actually helping them, even if it s inconvenient for you.
Flailed out? Tweaking? Got the feel to steal? This might be your jam since many patrons engage zealously in these three activities while at this location.
Value Pillage!
They need to get their prices right. I saw video games in the showcase priced more than they were worth, If you know games you will know what I am talking about. The store layout was ok, It wasn't as crazy as most value village stores because it's an older store that hasn't been updated but I like that. Prices seem a little higher than they should be. another example is that rabbit plate, $5.99? Staff was friendly Main thing is make sure you know what something is worth before you buy it so you don't overpay at this location
Big line up outside too long to stand and wait while worrying about people driving passed you in the parking lot there's not a designated cordoned off area for the line up it runs through parking lot
Good to get clothes for growing kids .. I always find something at "V V"
Got 5 pairs of shoes - now I have to find room for them.
