Always a good selection of clothing, linens, shoes, etc. Seems like the decorative stuff, has a longer shelf life. Most staff are helpful, but there's a few maybe new or otherwise that would sooner walk right by you. Prices vary from low end to high end.
Some are way too high for used, but I think it gets priced by the brand.
Lots of locations throughout the city... But I come here to shop cause my MeMaw loves it.

I got some good deals but this particular visit was not the finest. I had several items and one lost the tag by the time we got to the til. I told the woman the price, I remembered it because I knew it was a great deal. She did not believe me and took it to be "evaluated" (her words). After 20 minutes she came back and the price was much higher than the tag I seen when I first looked at it. Still a good deal but not good customer service in my opinion.

They have just recently reopened, the greeter had sanitizer and kept track of the number of customers. Physical distance markers were in place and a reminder played over the Soundsystem. All employees were friendly and polite.

I like to think of the Bonnie Doon area as Whyte ave's "runoff" or "sewage" and this store is a perfect example of that. Plenty of good times to be had people watching here, take a shot every time you see a single mom with dreadlocks.

I enjoy shopping at value village so I might be biased. The stores cleanliness is good, the lighting is okay, but the windows are blocked a lot by racks of clothes, so more unnatural light is required for shopping. The variety of objects is vast and you always find something you forgot you needed. Having to call someone for bathroom use is extremely frustrating especially when you need it ASAP. Cash out is mostly painless, except my last visit was an unpleasant experience and I'm pretty sure the cashier cursed in her own language because I asked for a price check.

Stuff here is cheap, though the quality varies from location to location.
Has the same feeling as a sad, lonely recently divorced man trying to rid himself of all the memories of his failed marriage.

Pretty good Value Village location.

Pretty good Value Village location.
Can sometimes be a bit untidy, bathroom is iffy. I have witnessed more incidents of people being asked to leave/removed from this location that any other.
But they got good stuff.

Over priced for donated used clothes lol. The manger Haley is not helpful, she s quite rude. Something with holes and stains all over should not be priced at $21.00. But Haley is a manager and knows everything about pricing lol. For a manger at Value Village this girl sure acts like she s above everyone else... you work at Value Village get a better attitude. Never shopping at this Branch again.

Children are allowed to play in the toy department to the point where they blocked the entire shopping area with building blocks. The parents just stood there allowing them to do it and I was worried about accidentally bumping them with my cart. Told the manager about my concerns. Who was not planning on doing anything

Prices compare to brand new if not more for used items that were donated for free. I went to buy my own items that my ex donated and was appalled to see what they were charging to buy them back. Goodwill is a better choice to donate items as they only charge one price for all shirts, pants, jackets etc. AND the money fully goes to charity less operating expenses. Value village only donates items that have been on the racks over 60 days (used to be yellow tags) on 1 day of the week to the CNIB the rest of the days are full profit for the owners. So if you think donating to help the less fortunate is going to make you feel better donate either to a shelter or Goodwill

Some of their prices are ridiculous. And then things that are actually expensive are priced really fairly or super low. Need to work on their pricing. Got a nice pair of cowboy boots for super cheap though so thanks for that.

I went there to look for some pants. It was packed. As I looked through the pants I could barely breath because there was so much dust coming off the clothes. I felt like it was impossible to socially distance.
And when I found something I liked it was so expensive. I couldn't belive it, the item was clearly well used and it was $18?
The stuff there is donated.

The only thing I liked was the nice security guard and staff..
But I'm not rating them I'm rating the store.

Quite good place to find interesting items at low prices. They have free parking lots for customers. Very good second-hand shops where you can buy tableware, small decorations, flower pots, books, and clothes. There are free parking spaces next to the shop.
