Love this place. This Value Village has amazing selection.
It was fine, I just think the one off Gateway usually has a better selection
All depends what are looking for. Some prices low some high.
Always find random stuff you didnt need ... bring money lol
I like to shop at this store, but I dislike the area/location.
Pretty fair for the most part but sometimes I dont know how they come up with thier prices
U csn always find somthing u dont see anymore.but a lil pricey
I'm all for secondhand items and buy 99% of my clothing from either Goodwill or Value Village. I choose to shop less and less at VV as the prices are getting ridiculous for things that are very worn or obviously damaged. I will only go here if I'm nearby and haven't found what I'm looking for elsewhere. The staff at this location are hit and miss. There are some sweethearts that work the tills, but the employees placing and sorting items on the floor will ignore you and pretend you are not there. There is a review below where an employee hit someone with a cart; I also had to scurry out of the path of an employee pushing a large cart through the aisle.
Also, there's supposedly a "member program" that I've seen advertised at the till, but I have yet to have an employee offer it or explain it after spending several hundred dollars here. (over several trips, mind you)
One positive thing to note is that you can return items for an in-store credit within a certain amount of time. They have always honored this.
Always a good experience there. Scored some books and a game for a great price. Place was neat and the service great. Parking was good too.
You are selling things from the dollar store for a higher price than at the store
Always like visiting Value Villages in different cities. We love the fact that every store is eclectic and unique to the area. We always think of it as a treasure hunt - sometimes you find nothing, but sometimes you walk out of the store with an entirely new wardrobe.
Not a lot of deals to be had at Value Village anymore. Things are pretty much worth what's asked. Good for used books, cookware where previous use doesn't affect usefulness; otherwise, slim pickings.
V.V Boutique as it is sometimes known has everything you need to dress for a theme party. Reasonable prices and lots of selection.
My favourite place to find some Great hidden gems. Specially the one east on white ave! We dont call it VV Boutique for nothing.
Clothes they received free and charging us so much, make money money make money money.
This place sucks the prices are so high on the items that they get for free. This place is for the low income people and who also need help. The customer service is garbage. I also hate how they don t give any of you money back on returns.
I found some very good quality designer brand golf shirts.
It's ok i was shock to see there were selling used man under wear at this store
Best vv in Edmonton. Cashiers are friendly and always parking. Not much value anymore though. Their prices are significantly higher than they should be
It's a nice clean and has good quality clothing there and nice people
They sell used, donated clothes for prices that are the same or higher than brand new clothes.
For this reason, I avoid shopping at value village as much as possible
This value village is standard thrift store experience: fairly limited selection, middling quality and generally low prices, although not always as affordable as you might hope, and upon occasion, somewhat excessive. If you want an adventure, it's fine, usually offering up interesting doodads, ect. If you want to consistently cloth yourself for a good price, it's hit and miss.
I am always surprised at how clean it is as well as having really decent stuff! We recently moved and donated a bunch of stuff and got 30 percent of purchase vouchers.
It is close too my place ,3 block walks, nice exercises also for me !!!
I ussualy go in here to check on some specific add-ons or replacement stuff which are costly on department stores and they never fail me!
Don't like this place, being blamed for someone else's choices, now not allowed. Thankfully to. Who wants that
Love this place for finding unique one of a kind stuff
Love the store, but sometimes staffing is an issue.
This value village has a much better selection of good used clothes
Good clothes selection. I always find neat little treasures like the doedoe,or this craxy bright green furry blanket. The furniture is very expensive. 3 times i have been there when they took my cart full of stuff away because" it was "abandoned" if it was, i was close enough that i could have at least heard " does this belong to anyone, they also do not like to negotiate prices.
Lots of Stock.. but notice that prices have almost doubled since my last visit..$13 for a sundress??? Really? You get it for free..donated..you wont see me again. Goodwill and Sally Ann have varied pricing accordingly 4.99 to 7..99..c'mon.. dont gouge us!
One of the worst value villages in the city, the store is a mess, the prices are way too high (funny hearing their little commercial on the speakers saying that most items are under $10 while looking at a cheap jacket priced at $30) and they re either really understaffed or the employees don t care. I waited at the showcase to look at a ring and waited at least 20 minutes before someone came to help. Don t waste your time coming to this store.
Friendly staff. And the manager is great and all his staff koodos
This value village is the smallest in the city but has a lot of interesting nic knacks HUGE selection. And they have hires security guards now.
Store was organized and tidy for the most part. Customer service was good
Prices are to high.. Bought new items at other store for the same price of their used items that was given to them for free...i only go there for material...seriously should listen to the customers & do something about the outrageous prices
Good place and good location. Lots of clothing options but few furniture options available.
Good choice of what I wanted, quick and cheerfully checkout.
It has always been a great place to shop, lots of selection and variety that you will not find in regular stores. But isn't this good value as what it used to be. Found what we were looking for at a much better price at a local outlet store.
I found a bunch of good quality random items on numerous occasions. The store is better than most for its bakeware selection, but is lacking for their men's shoe selection. Cleanliness is fairly decent. I will say to be cautious at night since there are sketchy people around often enough.
Not much for the large sized person. Staff not very friendly. Great prices
Store is a big mess and... remember folks, Value Village isn't a charity! They make money off of selling your stuff, and they're a private business. Donate to the Bissell Centre instead.
The best value village in city and service is great!
For someone from Ireland it's like TK Maxx of the charity shop world!
After donating 4 boxes of stuff I go into the store only to have them upgrade the price tags at the till. Not sure why I guess its because the lady working the till didn't believe the prices on my items [2] were real. Wow, never again will I go or donate to this location. Definitely a "not for profit" PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
Good finds are hit and miss. Customer service is mediocre at best. If you have a question or need help, you'll have to wait, and wait, and wait.
