Savages Bakery Review

The first time I visited, I thought they were having an off day. No greeting. There was one impatient lady filling orders while others behind the counter were going back and forth doing something in the back. There was a long wait so I decided to return on a day I would have more patience. I visited again and experienced the same non-existent customer service. The young girl didn't know what much of anything was and there were no labels on any of the items. There was a customer beside me making the same requests for names and ingredients. The older lady was the same impatient lady from my first visit. She wasn't much help and didn't seem to want to be helpful. The desserts I purchased were great but they need labels with pricing on ALL items and customer service training.

I ordered catering three weeks in advance and half my food was missing. We had to wait an hour and a half for the rest of our food with our 1 year old. To top it off, the owner never came from the back to apologize or offer us anything, and I ended up having to buy a cookie to quiet my baby.. didn t even say hey the cookies on us for messing up . Never again.

Great place! I got the elephant ear and my wife got a creame cheese melt both were great. Also had a friendly chat with the staff. Good people.

Walked in to get some old fashioned waiting in line old guy walked right in they allowed him to skip us and take all the old fashioned that I wonted to try because it was my first time there dont have to worry about me coming back

By far one of the best bakeries around. Their cookies and melt aways are to die for. A little expense but then you are paying for quality. Gingerbread cookies, petit fours, sugar cookie with icing, melt aways, custom cakes, bread, and much much more. When we are back in Birmingham this is a must stop for us.

Savage's has always been my preferred bakery!! EVERYTHING they sell is yummy for the tummy!!

Savage Bakery did a great job with the birthday cake I ordered from them, it looked awesome and tasted great, would definitely use them again

The chocolate chip cookies also have nuts. They aren't labeled and not all counter employees notify customers. Not good for people with nut allergies.
