We stopped here on a cruise and were so happy we did. The prices are good and the customer service is great. Vince is AWESOME! He understands and appreciates knives. He is concerned about selling you the knife that works best for you. He is not going to give you the hard sell.
The selection is really good. They carry known brands but also amazing. Alaskan custom knives. As much as you fight it, when you pick up one of their Alaskan knives, you will say in your best Aussie accent, "That's not a knife...that's a knife." I just wished I had more expendable income. Great shop with great people. Thanks guys!!!!

Had a great time browsing the selection of knives. Bought a few ulu knives and a couple of others. Boxed them up and shipped them. In and out in 20 minutes.

I came here when we stopped as a part of a cruise. The customer service was great, very helpful and well educated. I bought myself a gut knife the prices may seem high but for the quality it is just right. I m a very satisfied customer and will return if I m ever back in Juneau.

These folks are the real deal!
Huge variety of very fine knives - from rugged daily use knives to limited edition collector's knives, plus several custom knives and accessories exclusive to Alaska Knife Works.
If you have any testosterone at all, you need to at least visit the store.The high end William Henry selection is sure to get your attention.
Ladies....a custom/limited edition knife for your significant other would go a long way to soften the blow from all the unique jewelry you just scored!

I came to Juneau on a cruise ship to do glacier related things and wanted an authentic keepsake to remind myself of the journey.

Ended up at the shop afterwards and purchased an obsidian knife. The guys were friendly and enthusiastic, and now I've got an authentic piece of Alaska sitting on my mantle.

It gets lots of complements, and plenty of oohs and ahhhs when combined with a story.

TL:DR cool shop. good products. expensive, but you get what you pay for. 10/10 would do again

This was my second time in the shop. They have great local knives but I come here because they have some unique William Henry Knives. I m a big fan. I didn t end up getting one today but I did the last trip. They made the shipping easy and they held it so that it arrived at my home the day after I got home! Really nice and genuine people! Great selection!

Surprisingly fair prices on high quality knives. I was shocked, in a very pleasant way. Definitely worth a stop and you can get yourself a nice pocket knife and have it shipped home so you don't have to worry about taking it on the plane.

Bought an ulu here. They shipped it to my house and it arrived well packaged and perfect. I live in MN.

This store is truly awesome. I purchased a knife thru them, and had it shipped. When I received it, it wasn't working properly. They immediately had me send it back, and made it right. Talk about customer service, this is one store that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is a great place to get a good looking knife or ULU. The quality of the products is very good. What I especially liked about Alaskan Knife Works in Juneau, AK was the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful, not pushy, and explained everything.
