Sault Sainte Marie Country Club Review

Had a nice round and met man who lives on the 16th hole so two became a three some...great day. Food i.e. soup n hot dog was great!

Thank you for a delicious and lovely spot to have social distancing lunch.

Too notch course, clubhouse food is exceptional, killer views

Great course!! Well Updated course and clubhouse over the last several years. Food and drinks are excellent!

Need to learn how to run a golf outing.. Absolutely pathetic to have any golf round take 8 hours. A good way to ruin a perfect weekend for golf.

Course is in great shape. Food is good. The club house has been very tastefully redecorated and is very clean. The club pro is very hands on and available. Rates have remained close to those of the past few years.

Coarse is in very good condition, had a great time.

What can I say...It's a golf course. Nothing special. Pizza's are served gooey.

This was my first season as being a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Country Club. It was very enjoyable, as the membership came with many rounds of golf, and it included access to the pool. The pool was very nice and clean with many lounge chairs and tables to sit at, staff would come around to see if you wanted anything to eat or drink, the french fries were delicious and were only a few dollars. The golf course also was very enjoyable.

Great golf course, excellent food, and wonderful staff. We had our work Christmas party here and the food was delicious!

Group of us golfed and dined this summer and can t wait to go back!!

Been a member for years. A lot has changed and for the better. Course has always been good but interior improvements shine and have not had a bad meal.

Great food, great staff,course was in very good shape & our whole crew is canadian & they treat us just like all the americans, very very good. Loads of fun,good people all around, great place to have a membership .

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Sault Country Club with absolutely fabulous food.

Best kept greens we've played on in years, reasonable rates, and above average service. Well worth the visit.

The food and presentation were great! The owners were very inviting!! Definitely better than your typical country club!

My husband was given a gift certificate December 2015 as a Christmas present. When he presented it to the man in the pro shop, the man said that he would not honor it since the golf course changed hands April 2016. This seems like bad business since the land is sitting there, the course was not busy and we will definitely not go there in the future. I would welcome any comments from the owners. I am giving the business one star because the website would not post my comment without a star being checked. Otherwise, I would give it no stars.

Love playing at this friendly and well maintained golf course! Great food too! Didn't use pool, but pool area looked clean and relaxing. Highly recommend checking it out if you are in this beautiful area.

Great food, great course and in wonderful condition.

I've lived in the Sault all my life and the course and clubhouse were the best they've ever been from a service and condition standpoint. The course was in great shape all year and the new owners did some maintenance on the course that was much needed and have plans to improve it going forward. The clubhouse bar was renovated and looks great now and the food this year was as good as when the club had Frank in the kitchen. Hope they think about doing breakfast next year.
And for those who think the course is overpriced and drive out to Pickford don't realize that after your vehicle costs and gas you pay more to golf there. $15 to walk 9 holes is a very good deal and as far as I'm concerned under priced for the quality of the course.

Would give less if I could. I would not golf here. The course has changed hands and the new owners are rude and snobby and could care less about their employees. Not to mention course is overpriced. Make the extra trip and go to Pickford or kincheloe if you want a bargain round of golf with a friendly atmosphere.

I visited the club this past summer and had a fantastic time. The golf course was fun to play and in great shape. The greens are fabulous. Dinner was excellent and the staff professional and very congenial. Looking forward to visiting the club again in 2018!

We stopped by for dinner with friends and had a good experience. Good food and views.
