My wife and I, after many suggestions from Locals, had to choose from a few that kept recurring. We chose Maloney's due to its reputation for great burgers.

I chose the Olive Burger, while my wife chose the Whitefish Basket. Both of us were very pleased with our choices. The Whitefish was lightly breaded and tasted great, certainly fresh and light. As for the burger, the Olive dressing, which is a secret, evidently, was outstanding. Frankly one of the most unique burgers I've ever been served.

The service was very polite and helpful. Our server, Adam, certainly knew the menu, including the draft beers, of which we each had a flight of 4. We each liked the Cranium Crush the most - a cream style ale with a raspberry and I believe waffle cone flavor. Really smooth.

We eagerly recommend this establishment to anyone interested in good food, good drinks, good service, and oh yeah, good choice in music!

Cool place and our meals and drinks were great! The one MAJOR issue we had was in relation to Covid guidelines. The servers did wear masks, but tables were not spaced out at all and all booths were open...so definitely not adhering to guidelines there. Waitresses just told everyone "sit wherever you'd like". Luckily we picked a seat near the back and no one else came in to sit in the booths in front or behind us, but if they would have we would have left because of the spacing. Prior to pandemic this would not have bothered us, but with everything going on they should have taken this more seriously because the other places we ate at in surrounding areas did. Overall their Caesar drinks were great and we loved the food. Would have enjoyed ourselves more if they followed all the guidelines.

This place has such a great look and a fantastic atmosphere...high ceilings, old brick walls, old crown molding at the ceiling..was very relaxing. After that, the food was excellent and the staff was friendly and we were served quickly. We will definitely stop here again whenever we visit the Soo.

Our waitress was fantastic! The food portions were very generous! The ambiance was great!

I was appalled to see that some of the other customers were not protecting the staff by wearing a mask while speaking to them.

We are in a new era.

Be aware.

Food was amazing. I had a delicious bloody Mary and a jack Daniels burger. They have the BEST homemade ridged potato chips and steak fries. It was the middle of a blizzard and it was one of only two restaurants in all of the Soo that were actually open. I mean other than Pizza hut. So we really lucked out that they had great food. The service could have been a little bit better. But she was the only one there so you got to give her some slack.

An "Irish" pub that doesn't have a full Irish breakfast on the menu, and has no idea what that even is when you ask about it, should receive no stars. To be fair, we didn't bother eating there so I won't speak to the quality of the food. But, the menu consisted of your run of the mill American bar basics. I guess the 1 star could be because they actually, and surprisingly, had Guinness on tap.

This restaurant is in a great location for tourists that are coming to town, especially during the summer months. They have many great appetizers, and they also have soups that are on special daily. The last time I was there I tried the tomato basil soup and it was delicious. I also have had the chili con queso dip here, and it is very good as well. They also offer free popcorn that you can eat while you are waiting for your meal. The decor is also very nice as well.

Called the day before to confirm if they had gluten free buns/bread, Yep they do! Arrived for lunch and they ran out of buns So my partner did the bacon cheese burger no bun thing. The burger arrived slightly over cooked with a very heavy charred grill! Honestly, a sorry half a slice of cheese was very evident in the absence of the bun. Sweet potatoes fries were good. I ordered the whitefish sandwich. Nothing special. The chips and cheese dip were better than our meals. Atmosphere is nice/pub looking. Clean and appears they are up with maintaining Covid guidelines. Staff was friendly.

Good atmosphere, nice looking place. Lots of tv's, but none of them had sports on them. A cooking show and the rest were blank. Service wasn't the best, probabaly would have made more money coming back to the table and asking if we wanted refills or more beer. (tap beer was warm btw, must be something up with it recently or they didn't care to fix it, another guy complained his beer was skunky) waitress was nice but not very helpful, this place wasn't busy either. The bartenders/waitresses were too busy/interested talking to each other and eating food instead of their customers. Food on the other hand was phenomenal, I wish I could give the cook a tip instead of the waitress...

Was okay. Pretty good Guinness stew, that. And a proper pint too. Service seemed to tank when they realized I wasn't a local. Seemed servers were more interested in clickey conversations then customers, but otherwise, alright, okay.

Whitefish sammich was fair enough, I guess. And I did like the Maloney Fries; their take on poutine. Those were good. Thin and crispy steak fries, interesting and good too.

Not the biggest theme stretch I've ever seen here with the Irish in them running so thin, customers were actually complaining about not having any Irish mood music going on, but that's the way of it chasing money; sometimes you get away from yourself.

Hospitality was hot and cold.

Great service and food. Not very Irish though. If all you need is a Reuben and a Guinness for an "Irish Meal" your in luck. DON'T let that hold you up either. The food, service and tap beer selection is FANTASTIC. My family and I were just expecting a more traditional Irish Pub

After a day of shopping and playing in the park with our dogs we came to moloneys alley to have some lunch. We were greeted with a sign that stated they were at capacity. I entered to ask about it and was greeted by a bartender yelling across the room they were at capacity. When I approached him to inquire about it as the restaurant had more then half the tables still open and all the outside tables open I was greeted with a lot of attitude and disrespect about how they had just seated 3 big parties and I would have to wait. I'm sorry but if as a restaurant you can't handle 3 parties no bigger then 10 a piece and a few other guests how are you still in business. Better yet how is this the customers problem that you have to turn groups away as we were not the only ones. Maybe new management is needed.

Food was pretty good, not great. Carrot Cake was phenomenal, and so were the bloody mary s. Only reason i m giving 5 stars is because of the service. Can t remember her name but she s a college student going for criminal justice (awesome) and she was super sweet and a great waitress!! We will be back.

Would ve loved to have been able to try the food but unfortunately the service was awful. Was told to come in and seat ourselves then we were ignored for 15 minutes before was gave up and went down the street. They walked past us numerous times and just completely ignored us. Super disappointed.

I have always gotten the cornbeef sandwich in the past years and have looked forward to it again but this time it was thick sliced cornbeef and very tough, neither of us could eat the meat. We told the waitress but she just said it's the way they have always made them, NOT!

We were looking for somewhere to eat before the fire work show and this was one of the only places open. The atmosphere is comfortable, the service is unbeatable, and the food is delicious!!

Interior looks vintage and cool. Beer list was decent. Food was terrible. The ribeye looked awful and asked for it med rare and it came out well done. Waitress never came by to ask. It didn't even look like a ribeye.

The veggies had no seasoning at all and basically tasted like they came out of a can and into the microwave.

Ordered brussell sprouts as an appetizer. Supposed to have bacon. Showed up with no bacon. Waitress came by later with the bacon and didn't seem to care.

And $6.50 for a pint?

Not trying to be harsh but we ordered nachos with queso and no jalepenos. And the queso was very spicy, which was not mentioned, made it hard to eat plus we ended up with jalepenos on it. And our food all came our at different times, we had a group of 7 and food came out at 3 different times.

You may want to warn people about the spicy queso and also work on getting food out at the same times.

Excellent dining experience! We are always greeted and treated well at Moloney's. Great beer selection, something on the menu for everyone. Whether we enter alone and sit at the bar or enter with a group (children included) we are treated with the same enthusiasm. Nice people. Highly recommend.

Nice interior, good wait staff, good food. We had Chicken Tenders... my hubby the Perch basket. Sweet potato fries (extra) were excellent and worth the slight charge.
The only slight burp was the Honey Mustard dipping sauce could have had a bit more flavor .. this is the 3rd time in the last 4 years we are here when visiting
And help wears masks... can't get much better!!
