Went there for lunch, the day before Christmas. Service is OK, food was delicious. The Pool Deck restaurant is on the 5th floor by the pool. Being open roof, it has a interesting view of the surrounding tall buildings of central Nairobi against the sky.
The tables are large and well spaced with the effect of a relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere. There's a bar too, if you're looking for a relaxed place to have a few drinks.

They have good service here, but watch out when they bring a bill they add VAT on it. Don't be shocked to pay slightly more than you initially expected. Again it's another wait to get your bill cleared and have your change returned.

Location is excellent! Strategically located in the heart of the city. Security is excellent. Convinent for visitors who want to see the city centre and it's environs. Entrance to the hotel is easily accessible and idea for persons who are disabled. One of the best hotels in the city. #Letsgiluide

Classic design, old hotel feels (in a good way), soft bedding and lovely pool, gym and lounge on the 5th floor. Very unique Thai restaurant that comes with a complimentary massage in the beginning of your meal.

Lovely ambience and serenity right in the heart of the Nairobi CBD. Pop in to escape the hustle and bustle of the streets right outside.
Good food, lovely views and the bar is quite relaxing. Quite affordable too.

One of the most centrally located hotel in Nairobi. If there's one thing Sarova Stanley's wins at its location and the resulting convenience. It's accessible and has good enough conference rooms. There is valet parking. Food is great and they have a bar at first floor.

Nice hotel at heritage site in Central Business District (CBD) of Nairobi city.

Staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. In time of our need, when I was hospitalized, PR team paid a visit to the hospital and brought our kids along. Their staff also individually wished us well on a "Get well soon" card.

Rooms have traditional decor and it is that way throughout the Hotel. Breakfast is very elaborate with good quality, fresh food. Don't forget to try Sugarcane juice with lime and ginger, prepared fresh!

With over a century of heritage, this hotel smacks of not only class but also opulence. Ideal for product launches, corporate trainings and such like activities. Being located at the centre of business district, it is easy to locate and is a central place. The location, with its merits, also comes with shortcomings of limited parking for those that drive and the occasional traffic jam that is experienced along Kimathi Street where the hotel is located.
