For a hotel in the heart of Nairobi, it is a great hotel

This is by far the worst experience I have ever received from a hotel. Beyond the fact that dirty plates stay in the rooms for almost the entire day even thought they have been called, they have tiny roaches running all around the place. And the customer service folks are all about cheating you for the extra buck. Horrible horrible experience. They kept referring me to "tiny print" terms in their checkin document. Funny thing was they conveniently forgot to mention these while I was checking in. The food was horrible, the towels were never changed and the carpets were dirty. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The hotel definitely doesn't deserve its rating. If there was a zero star, they should be that.

One of best hotels I have stayed ever. Great heated pool. Amazingly beautiful hotel interiors. Spacious and beautiful room. Looked not less than palace. I will stay again. Great location in heart of city. Now that's I call a hotel. Loved it.

Amazing heritage hotel with so much history dating way back to the 19th century. Take a walk through history and learn about the hotel industry in Kenya and its transition. Ideally located for the business traveller. Truly Refreshing African Hospitality!
Mainly visited by VVIPs, security here is really tight and there's a large barrier between pedestrians and the valet space.
