Sarasota Police Dept has been doing a terrific job. crime is down, aggressive panhandlers seem to be under control in downtown area.

I just moved to Sarasota from WA state and found myself in an unfamiliar and strange predicament. Your responding officers, notably Officer Chapman, offered his devoted attention and help that genuinely gave me hope and guidance when feeling lost. He was so kind and patient and offered many resources to look towards.

Thank you for training your officers to be REAL public servants. Many kudos to the other officers as well. Many blessings

4:10 PM 4/21/2021. Needed a question answered. Was transferred to the "Front Desk." Phone has now ben ringing for 10:27, ye over TEN minutes and no one has picked up. Curiously disturbing?

What a joke. I called them about a dog trapped in a hot car. Was directed by voice-mail ,to call 2 different numbers. Both numbers lead to voice-mail. This resulted in me being attacked physically by the dogs owner after I confronted her. The phone service needs to be corrected before someone gets hurt
